Grew up going to Water Country USA as Season Pass Holders (from middle school age through my teen years in the 1980’s), I can attest to the fact that Your kids will ALWAYS remember and cherish the time You spend together as a family, and the many memories You will create together while visiting this AMAZING & FUN FAMILY Water Park.Thank you Water Country USA for the many Happy memories, Great times, Fun in the Sun & Water, and many Cool Water Rides, and for creating and sharing such a wonderful and memorable (and SAFE) place for Families, Friends & Kids!!
Excellent water park. Nice and clean restrooms. Having all kinds of slides from kids to adults. My 3 yr old had lot of fun in cow bunga and H2O UFO slides and lazy river. Must visit water park. If you can make it second time, go for Fun pass and 1 person for family with annual pass so you can get free parking with annual pass.
This water park was the best place ive ever been to. Even know ive been to this place 5 times, this place was awesome. Lots of rides and slides, I even made a few friends in this place as well, I wish I can come back to this place again. BEST WATERPARK EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a nice experience. It was quite crowded though and way too easy to lose your little one. General parking $17.00...whewFood a bit pricey, but my burger and fries were tasty. My peach vanilla swirl ice cream was good, too. I was able to use my souvenir cup from Busch Gardens at Water Country so that helped our expenses.
This was our first visit since we got this park included with our Busch Gardens season passes. If you love the cleanliness and friendliness of Busch Gardens then youll enjoy this place too. Much bigger than I expected there are 3 distinct kid areas and then numerous thrill ride water slides for adults. Lots of areas to grab shade and first come first serve lounges and chairs. People seemed respectful of chairs with stuff on them, allowing you to save chairs in one area while you went to do the slides in another. Not as many food and drink stands as Busch Gardens but also nice there isnt a souvenir stand jammed by every ride. We spent about 4 hours there and that was plenty of time for our 5 year old to be wiped out.
This is an awesome water park. I suggest going during the week so the lines arent as long. Be prepared ro walk up A LOT A LOT of steps. You will feel it the next day. Wear sunscreen because some lines are in the sun. I brought a waterproof fanny pack that you can wear on anything except vanish point. Swim shoes are great too because you can wear them on the rides.
First time there: Arrived at 3:00 pm, Saturday. Parking lot almost full. Too be expected. Checking in went smoothly and fast. Lines for most water rides were 30-45 minutes wait, as anticipated. Pathways were clean and clearly marked. Several rides were closed, but you didnt know until you made the journey with two grandchildren. Restrooms were wet but clean and well stocked. There were plenty of lounge chairs at most of the preteen rides. Could use a few more benches between areas. Crowds started to thin out around 5:30 pm.Caution: A bottle of coke was $4.50 before pass discount. Shaved ices medium was around $5.00. Didnt eat any meals but assume the same as Busch Gardens.Recommendations : be prepared to wait in line. (Not as long as Disney) Be prepared to be able to climb many steps to great heights. Drink plenty of water. Have fun.
My two sons’ and I are all born in the month of May.This year Water Country USA opens up for the summer thru September.I would love to take a trip with my family to the Largest Water Park in Virginia.Water Country USA water Park has a huge family amusement park with food and lots of fun. This would be the perfect family vacation fun place for our family to have amazing adventure in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Amazing park love it plz add a new ride!
Hot hot day! Cool water that made it just right. Lots of people for this holiday weekend...be prepared for that. Bring your own towels and parking can get tight...its a good little walk...might want to pay extra for the vip parking. We had tons of fun and will be back.
Small water park that doesnt have as many rides as they claim to do. Just like the other park, the map is somewhat confusing. There wasnt as much to ride or do and we finished everything before we even knew it, the rides were fine tho with little waiting time. The food I ordered was disgusting, the hamburger tasted like it was uncooked and the inside was cold.
Fantastic place worth the money we loved it. This place has something for everyone literally. And the staff is phenomenal I had a problem with my credit card whenever I purchased my tickets on line and they were accommodating and walked us thru the main entrance. The only thing is that the food is really pricey. I recommend this place to anybody thinking of going here if we lived close enough Id buy season tickets every year.
Big waterpark. Lots of shades only around the kids potion of the park. Lots of rides attraction catering to different people (and kids) depending on height restrictions (and physical abilities). The lines are long. Takes maybe 10-15 minutes. I could only imagine when there are lots of people on a weekend. Parking are well designated on your preference. Lifeguards and team members are always engaging in peoples safety. Restrooms are clean.
Love this place. Visited on a day when it was upper 80s. Didnt wait more than 30 minutes in the morning and only 45 in afternoon for the most popular rides.
There are many things are interested. I was so excited when I was there.
One of my favorite places. Have been coming here from nj since I was younger and now I can bring my family. Love it
We love going to Water Country! The only constructive criticism is that a number of attractions need trees or shade to cool the walkways. We leave our shoes at the beginning and then burn our feet in line to slide. Also, the food is good, but not great.
Water Country USA is a beautiful park. My family absolutely loved it. There was plenty of things to do even for my two year old. We would definitely come back once she is older. I would recommend the all you can eat, if you are staying for the entire day. It rained a couple of times on the day we went. They would close the rides as there was thunder in the area and then would open the park up once it passed.
Very nice water park with lots of rides.
Loved it! So much fun! Would Definitely go again. So sad they did away with the pictures though. Takes away from the experience and the memories made.
Lightly cloudy days are the best, friendly staff, and no lines.
This is the first time weve gone to Water Country. I must say we had a great time! The wait times for most of the rides were very long but considering it is a holiday weekend, I wont complain. The staff was helpful and the food was good! My only complaint, the womens bathrooms!! Someone needs to check them every hour, at least! Other than that, great family place. Rides for kids of all ages. Go, youll enjoy yourself!!
Great day of fun.
Great waterpark, lots to see and lots to do. Big slides and good food is always grilling. Complete with a lazy river and plenty of family attractions, you won’t be getting bored. Definitely worth the time and money.
I buy my season pass every year !!I love coming here with friends or alone will have fun either way!!
Absolutely awesome. I havent had that much fun at a theme park in years. The staff were friendly and the rides were diverse enough for kids and adults to enjoy. Word to the wise, bring a decent set of water shoes or sneakers that can get wet. You will do some walking.
Really fun place! It was our first time and loved it. They have tons of rides and they have a lot of people working there to help and guide you. Lockers are also all over but add to the overall cost of the trip. Food options are pretty good and not too expensive for the portion size you get. The showers are also clean and spacious.
Great water park! Its a must if your visiting in the summer. Four areas for kids, i loved that they had kid size water slides for my son who wasnt quite tall enough for some of the bigger water slides with the tubes. Life vests are located in every part of the park in case you need to grab one. I would highly recommend getting the cashless wrist band, you only need to scan your wrist when paying for anything. Tons of chairs in all the area and there a quite a few chairs that are in the shade.
I loved this park. The lazy river was the best for me. We stayed the entire time from the time the park open until it closed. The kids had a ball. The lines were long at some points but they moved fast. I really enjoyed myself Im definitely coming back
I had a great experience here. The slides are amazing and the people are very kind.
Me and my family go here pretty much every year. We love the rides but the food is a bit pricey.
Awesome place kids had a great time
The first part of our vacation here in the Water Country was amazing! With so many rides ad so little time we had to quickly get on the family rides and with our mother and brother finally going on them for the first time we knew it was going to be a blast! There are plenty of places to relax and chill with the family and while some rides may shut down due to riders not following rules or faulty machinery it was still a worthwhile experience.
Fun times. Clean. Loads to do ...or not!Two Lazy Rivers. The swift one is fun.Thrilling water slides. Oh very wavy wave pool too.Nice well kept grounds. Loads of water. Just what I need on a hot day.
Very well kept and clean park. The lines during peak season are very long and can take up to 2 hours. Food was good but what you would expect from a theme park. The rides themselves were very fun and safe, plenty of rides for all ages! Each ride is unique and will give an experience for any level of thrill seeker. I highly recommend this park for any water lover but try to go during a weekday when itll be less busy.
Great time! Hadnt been in years. The lines werent bad and the meal deal was well worth it for our family of 4 that went. Loves the shady areas and lots of seating for the young and older in our party. Cant wait to go back.
Water country is a great outdoor place to visit in the summer. I really like Bush Gardens additions I like waking its grounds and seeing the animals The only reason for nme giving a 2star is that I do not frequent the water park. Great place for the kids and adults. Enjoy!!
5 Stars! We had a wonderful time Everything was wonderful!!!! Close definitely will return!
Park was okay but food area is gross! Caught the same person twice eating behind the counter with the same gloves serving food
Always a great time with the kids. Got very lucky and it was not packed at all. My kids were able to enjoy the slides multiple times. A very affordable option when in Williamsburg to buy the park combo.
It was a fun day! Nice rides and pools. A good selection of rides and attractions. The food was alright, but maybe not worth the high prices. Some of the staff wasnt the friendliest with us, but theyre mostly teens so its nothing surprising xD. We had a nice time!
This place is great for the family. We have 2 kids ages 4&7 and there is plenty for them to do. They have several water areas/slides for little kids in addition to the big water slides. The park was very clean and the prices are very reasonable. Its a great family place!
The family and I love this place a lot. Been to Water Country USA several times over the years. The ticket prices of course have went up over the years since we have been going and that is to be expected. Food prices I would say are a bit pricey for the amount of food that you get. They also have a alcohol bar for adults by the wave pool. We have always had no problems, only lots of fun on the rides. Bathrooms, showers & locker areas are pretty much clearer and nicer for the most part. My only real complaint is the people working for Water Country, the people that working always look extremely unhappy no matter who you see, which ride you are riding or which stand you visit to grab a bit to eat or drink. The atmosphere for this place doesnt even compare to the Disneyland parks and thats what really doesnt do it for me. People are what really set the tone & the mood for the rest of the park, even if it is just a water park and thats what really bothers me about this place. They could do so much better if they had better training.
Great place for the kids tho the lifeguards are pretty useless if you get hurt,
This is an amazing place to go. We have been to Busch gardens several times and alsways pass on water country. Well this time we decided to do only water country and am so happy that we did! It is great for all ages! I have a 3 and 5 year old and they had a blast! So much to do for the whole family! Also the staff there were friendly and helpful! Very clean park and clean water! The food is great! Great job WC USA! Cant wait to come back!!!!
It was my kids first time here and they were not disappointed. They enjoyed the water rides and spent half of their time in the wave pool. We found great loungers under a huge umbrella right next to a snack shack and wave pool. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and we loved spending our day here!
Worth the drive. Get the food package.
Went with my grandchildren for a day and we had a great time. Unfortunately ️ the weather didnt hold out all day but while it was sunny we were busy, busy, busy. Great place for family fun!!
Our visit was 11 July 2019. I had not been here in quite a while since the kids are grown now, but I do have the grandkids to play with now. We had a great time. The lines were not bad, we could talk while we waited, so other lines were much quicker than others and the staff were pleasant and professional. The park is kept up and clean. I like the variety of water rides. One thing they need to do, is they don’t want folks to put the life jackets on backward which several times in the wave pool they had to stop it so the lifeguards had to tell grown folks to not do this. Across the front where the timer is, they should put this in big letters for all to read. This might help that small problem. They might want to consider swim noodles for rent for a small price in this pool. Just some food for thought. But over all we had a great time and we will definitely be back.
Extremely fun ¾ of their slides we rated a 10 out of 10 this is the best water park.
Only con about this place is walking up Alot of steps for rides other than that its fun
Enjoyed the day with my wife. Lots of sunshine. The park has created a better park since previous visit years ago. Nothing but waiting in line then.
Wow the girls and I had a blast, definitely will be coming back before summer is over, the food is great so many options, separate water areas for the smaller kids, wave pool, big water slides, so much to do, and I relaxed most of the time at the cool lounge area, please take your kids. Thank me later
Amazing! The only thing it lacks is a regular adult swimming pools They do have a wave pool and small kiddie pools though. But the water rides are all great!! Very good selection of rides. They always have specials on their website for discounted tickets, just check it regularly. Either way its worth the money.
What a blast! Plenty of rides for all accommodations and levels of thrill seeking or relaxing. Plenty of snack and beverage locations along the routes in between features. Food options were plentiful at restaurants and prices were not too outrages. Do expect an additional charge ($17) upon arriving for parking. I was more than disappointed by that. The only reason were there is because we paid to get in, now we have to pay to park there? For the charge it should be valet, ha! Include it when we purchase the ticket so we know upfront, dont sneak it in like a trap. Other than That it was a fantastic time.
Ive been to a handful of different water parks. This had the simplest and yet most green and lush layout. So attractive and easy to walk. However if youre a thrill seeker there are only a couple water rides which have that status. Most are casual even if appearing large is size. Great for a mix of family ages and place very 6 mos. or older kids too. But not worth full price admission being one of the highest priced water parks I have seen. Although it seems that there are several sales to be had most days to get good prices. Also not for thrills.
Great water park. Cold water on a hot day what is better than that
We went on a Monday. It wasnt crowded, the lines were not long. For a first timer, it was great!!
Great place for all ages. Be mindful of parking expenses and if you can, purchase tickets ahead of time for the lowest price. The water is crystal clear and rides are a thrill to go down. Be prepared to walk up lots of stairs especially if theres not a lot of lines. Its definitely a great place to hang out with friends or family for the day.
Great place, kids loved it..... we went on a Sunday in mid August and wasnt that busy.
Was cool place to take the family and hang out. The wave pool was nice, but the slides were really fun. There are some exhilarating rides that are a blast. Only downside is a lot of walking, including taking many steps to get to the tops of slides. It wasnt super crowded but definitely felt it on certain slides.
Great rides. Very family friendly. Even smaller kids can get on the slides if accompanied by adults. The park was pretty clean and had plenty of lockers for storing your stuff while you enjoy all the rides.
Love this water park and the attractions available to kids. Lots to do and very kid friendly
Went about two weeks ago. Enjoyed it. I like that its not really (crazy) big. The wave pool was fun. Of course lots of cool water rides etc. for folks of different activity/skill levels. Lots of life vests of different sizes. Parking was kinda of weird. Was directed to what seemed an auxiliary lot. All in all good experience.
A lots of fun and adventures. For all ages.
Fun to take your friends/gf or bf because u can ride with them and its really fun
I would like to give to 5 stars for this place but the food here is really expensive and they don allow you to carry your own food inside.. otherwise this s d best place to go in summer.. most of the rides are toddler friendly.. water was really very clean..
Only reason I went here is because of my kids, they love all the water rides which are fun for them. Please be warned that if you use a wheelchair or have a hard time walking due to medical conditions this place is not for you. They have hills everywhere you turn, and steep ones. I have pretty good upper body strength to push my wheelchair but I seen where parents had a hard time pushing strollers up those hills. It was a good work out for me.
Fun times plenty to do even for the smaller kids. I really enjoyed myself
Great water rides
Had so much fun. I loved the fact they had options on allowing younger kids to ride the bigger slides as long as they had on life vest because my little 4 year old risk taker got on all that he could most parks he is to short and it difficult trying to explain to a 4 year old boy why he cant ride yet
We enjoyed most of our time here. I advise wearing shoes when moving from one attraction to another. We loved the wave pool! I advise renting lounges or a cabana. Four stars because the wave pool was shutdown without explanation.
Its really fun in summer for all ages
Had a wonderful time. Lifeguards were very attentive. Quick on response time felt safety was excellent for my girls.
Well this is one of the better water parks out there in a very large size park with a lot of things to do. I highly recommend it if youre in the Virginia area looking to cool off and go to a water park and the brand new cutback water coaster is a lot of fun. This water park is across the street from Busch Gardens Williamsburg and its a great day to spend half the day in both.
Cutback water coaster is a unique add to water Country and well worth the wait. Also so much fun.
Great for the whole family. Decent number of ride types. Specially good for little kids lots of areas for just them. Food options are pretty basic by comparison to Busch Gardens.
Love this place. Always fun activities. Beautiful day and shaded around the pools. Love the rides. The food deals are great. Definitely get an annual pass!!
We took our 2 year old today and really enjoyed it. He loved going down the slides, even the bigger ones he could do. The kid play areas are great for little ones and the water is very shallow so ours didnt wear his vest while playing.
Water Country USA is my favourite amusement park. The rides are safe yet some can definitely make your heart drop. The workers are friendly and its a family friendly environment. Theyre tons of rides and places for kids to go and also adult rides, so everyone can enjoy this park! Have fun!
I always enjoy spending time at this park. The rides are very fun to ride. Especially Vanish Point. Not many people are brave enough to ride it so the lines are very short. Right next to it is cutback. Cool ride. Long lines and the quick q option further lengthens the amount of time spent waiting to ride it. But all in all is fun to ride. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful throughout the park. There are places to eat all through the park. All in all an enjoyable experience for all ages.
The park closes due to weather and it takes two hours to get out of the parking lot. There should be a form of traffic control, especially from such an prestigious theme park. The water rides are spaced out too far, and paths set up in a way that makes it challenging for anyone with a disability to get around. Our family had fun, but not enough to bring us back; we expected more from a Busch Gardens attraction, with regard to cleanliness and upkeep.
Best water park in Virginia. There are mature trees throughout the park so that there is plenty of shade in lines and walking around so you dont get sunburn. Rides are fun and there are many for inexperienced to thrill seekers
Madison was so amazing with us!!! Best customer service ever! She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect! Me and my family had a blast. Very friendly environment. I highly recommend this place for family fun in the sun!
My first time in years going back to water country yesterday for my birthday. The rides were not much fun. They were limited on food items, and it was too hot to even enjoy it. Kings dominion has a much better selection of rides and shops in my opinion.
Decent size park. Not too big. Had fun walking around some of the rides waits were long and they had the fans on in lines and it made everyone cold :( paid $13 for 4 small tenders and literally 8 waffle fries. Its super expensive. But fun to come and swim around. Id pack your own food.
I love this place. Bring water shoes or flip flops. Get the cashless wristband and you can just charge what you want without having to take your wallet or credit card around. Quick pass is worth it on Saturdays. Strawberry Daiquiris are on point!
It is a small park with alot of water to keep you cool through the summer. My family loves it. However, there is a little problem. Every time you approach a kiosk if you will it has a terrible smell in the drink area. That needs to be taken care of and some of the life guards are very rude to little kids. My experience in the area of the cow pool. He was very rude and looked very mad.
Out of all the places we visited here while on vacation, this was by far our favorite. The kids loved it and there was so much to do for everyone! Would absolutely come back!
Great place to take the family! Brought our family of five and were able to enjoy several rides together. Numerous kid play zones are available to the littler ones. Will definitely come back again.
Water water everywhere!! Love it came back for more H2O !!
