Hello, I just wanted to share some feedback on my most recent experience at Busch Gardens Christmas Celebration. I am very disappointed in the entire experience. I attended the Halloween Harvest last month, and had a great experience while able to social distance. For Christmas Celebration, I was not. The entire park was packed full of people. These people were not enforced to keep their masks on or social distance. Restaurants and shops were jam packed full of people not wearing masks correctly or social distancing. Ride lines were packed full of people not 6 feet apart, and nothing was seen being sanitized.. I was not able to walk and maintain 6 feet from anyone due to crowded areas. I was there with my family and spent nearly $200 dollars on tickets for only being able to be there for a maximum of 45 minutes due to feeling very uncomfortable. I spoke very highly of the Harvest Festival, but I am not able to say the same about Christmas. It was one of the worst experiences I have had. Now Im feeling as if I should quarantine for 14 days after trying to do something fun with my family. Very upsetting and money and time wasted.

Great, clean park. We came for the Christmas lights and special park show. Great singers and great decor. Only portions of the park were open and only about half of the rides were open. The price for admission is slightly reduced however -should be reduced a bit more than it was so make up for only a fraction of the amenities being open. They had a great beer selection and prices of drafts were reasonable. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food offered. Turkey dinner in the Oktoberfest building was disappointing. The cookie and hot chocolate building was neat and seemed to be great for kids. Meeting santa was a cool touch inside the old dark castle. Overall it was nice experience with the wife and the lights were romantic. We will likely return during the day /on season but the Christmas lights is something that is seen once and done.

Its a nice park Ive been there a couple of times and its usually always fun, the only advice I will give everybody is try to avoid going on halloween. The haunted houses are very very very very very disappointing and you will have to stand in long lines forever like 2+hour lines unless you wanna pay extra and take my word on this it is not worth it at all. Go any other time of the year.

I love Busch Gardens. We have had season passes for 20 plus years. This Christmas Celebration 2020 year is very disappointing. We do have a pandemic, but only half of the park is open. Thats not so much the concern as it is that the ticket price is $65. No discounts were being accepted. Only Festhaus is open for meals, and they are very small. They no longer serve cranberry sauce and a roll with the Christmas platter just turkey, beans, and potatoes. Yet its price is $14. We are very disappointed overall. Its not worth the cost.

I did the day time slot (10-3pm) of Christmas Town 2020. I wasnt expecting much but overall it was not too bad. I have season tickets so having a decent portion of the park closed was not a huge deal but I would never pay full price single day tickets for what you get. 3 roller coasters were open and a few other small rides. Absolutely NO shows! Many older people come here for the shows...well there are none. A large part of the park was closed...no Pompeii lights!!! No sky lifts!! Santa is available but placed behind a huge piece of plexiglass. The kids stand there and yell to him. Its sad and a bit comical at the same time. The biggest plus for me is that the place seemed pretty empty. I really liked that part! I think they are doing the best they can given the current situation but dont expect a lot for your $60 Christmas town ticket and $25 parking.

Coming from out of state and our first time at Busch Gardens so we were pretty excited. Only to get there and find out 4 coasters were open and more then half the park was closed! On their October Fest page on their website it literally says “ 15 ROLLER COASTERS AND RIDES“ so I assumed that’s what we would be getting. If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the same page it lists the NINE rides in the entire park that are open, 4 of which were coasters. Paid $50/PP plus parking for 9 open rides. If you’re already a season pass holder I guess coming here during this time would make sense, otherwise, save your money.

Amazing theme park around the holidays. This was our second time coming for the Christmas lights and we will be back again. Most attractions are open during the day but the excitement gets kicked up when the sun goes down! The amount of lights is mind boggling. The train ride is a must for everyone. It takes you on a one-way tour of the entire park showing you places you can’t see without being in the ride.

Ive been a platinum pass holder going on ten years, my wife has been a platinum pass holder for over 20 years. This park is beautiful, yet it suffers from its status as a second line park that is only open seasonally. Every year that I come to this park the customer service gets worse, culminating in a dreadful encounter at the guest services window, where a confrontational, customer service person, lorded her sole possession of the knowledge of being THE authority in platinum passes, while dispensing condescension, ridicule and scorn. Fortunately for me auto correct will finish my words on this review as someone reminds me to breath.Come to this park only towards the end of summer during its peak operating time when the seasonal crews have started to gel and customer service is at its least offensive.

I hate to give it three stars, but I was very disappointed in Busch Gardens. True, I am thankful that they are open during COVID-19, but I feel like they should adjust their prices for what they have open. All of Italy was closed along with Apollo’s Chariot, Tempesto, Mach Tower, Verboten, Loch Ness Monster, 75% of carnival games, and more. I enjoyed it there, but would like to see 65$/person go down, as a lot of stuff was closed.

Still it was great; family friendly areas, most key attractions open, plenty of food, short lines, extremely thoughtful touches around park (sorry, no spoilers) by courteous staff. Only parking open already close to entry gates so no need to pay for VIP! Worth trip in 2020 or whenever you can break loose. Good day cation from madness of 2020.

Such a little slice of heaven! The fam and I were looking at a safe from COVID place to unwind and we definitely got that and so much more. Since we arrived late and didnt want to setup our tent in the dark we stayed one night in a cabin, then another 3 nights in a tent campsite. The staff was so accommodating and I was so thrilled they could put us in a cabin with no notice. Saved my day for sure:) Our campsite was very large, clean, had tree cover almost completely above us and around us which made the one night it did rain a lot, seem really minimal. We packed nearly everything in the house certain we had everything we needed.... we were wrong lol. We were SO thankful for the large selection of camping, convenience and treats in the campground store. Oh, and dont even get me started on the awesome pool! Was soooo refreshing to take a relaxing swim! Just left 2 days ago and already planning our next trip back soon!

I wouldn’t waste your money on the Christmas event. It costs $40 a person to get in$25 to park your car and there is maybe 10 rides running most of those are roller coasters. The light display was mediocre at best. The train ride was mostly dark with very few light displays for you to go by. Most of the lights were on small trees on the path. The singers were nothing special and only two shows. The only thing that was fully open was places for you to spend more money like gift shops and food places. Kings dominions light display last year was way better and they had more rides for the elementary school age kids.

While I dont agree with them being open during a world-wide pandemic, theyve done remarkably well in attempting to maintain distancing. Ive reduced a star due to high-priced food. One shouldnt have to pay $7 for a single scoop of risotto, no matter the quality. Risotto, much like friends, is to be desired in a plentiful amount, but not so much that it becomes suffocating. A hearty band of three is more than enough to warm the soul, likewise three scoops should prove bountiful enough to warrant the risottos price. But what do I know?

It is a blessing to live so close to The Worlds Most Beautiful Theme Park. Whether visiting in spring, summer, fall, or winter, there is something for everyone at this magnificent place. As with many other things these days, its not quite as good as before covid, but theyre doing their absolute best given the restrictions. Beautiful and wonderful experience. I came with my significant other on 10/15/2020 my birthday. Ambiance was and is very nice. Itll take you into another world. The attraction builds and set ups were very appealing and authentic to theme. They have quarters that resemble medieval England, Italy, Ireland, and Scotland with replica castles and other cultural architecture of that time. In the Irish quarter, theres a restaurant called Grogans Grill which provides excellent guest service and really good food. I was happily to be served by April and Lawrence whom went above and beyond their required duties. April and Lawrence would be the soul reason Id visit again. I had ordered the shrimp poboy and my significant other ordered the fish and chips. Id highly recommend trying both. Waffle fries were a great addition. Both Besides the great service and food, they also have wonderful rides, scenic areas, and live animals which would entertain every member of the family. Top rollercoaster hands down is the Lochness Monster coaster. Overall, it was a wonderful, memorable, nostalgic and blissful day full of excitement, joy, wonder, and great laughs. This is where things went south. It may have been the rain, but we couldnt find 5 places to use our tickets that were open. We tried to get our money back but they refused. This is a huge amusement park were at any age you can be a kid. There really is something for everyone here; food, rides, shows, games, and attractions. The park can accommodate couples to large groups, very family friendly. The park is celebrating 44 years and has a large tree canopy over much of the park that provides shade. The park is well maintained in a beautiful natural setting. If you visit on a busy weekend, you may want to consider a multiple day pass so you can experience everything. Ride or attraction lines tend to get long. Also get there earlier than opening time, the ticket both lanes jam up pretty quickly and you could be sitting in your car for an hour just to get a parking space. Also you will have to pay a separate parking fee of at least $20 not included in the admission price. Not a lot of shade in the parking lot. There are at least 3 water rides for the hottest of days and a childrens park with water activities too. The park is limited to coke products and there are plenty of food options, but food and drinks are highly marked up. You can always pack a cooler and eat in the parking lot.

Normally I would give Busch Gardens a five star review. However we went last week during the coronavirus and it was terribly disappointing. Unfortunately its not cuz the park wasnt beautiful. Its not because the staff wasnt pleasant. It was because they opened it back up during this crazy coronavirus mess but only opened a very small portion of the park. We traveled 60 miles to get there and rode everything available and visited what few shops were open and we were done in less than 2 hours. Only The Smokehouse was open at this time. It was hot so we decided to leave at 1. We got there when they opened at 11. I know these are trying times but coming that far for that little is really not worth it. I realized that due to COVID that some areas of the park would not be available. However, Busch Gardens could have been more clear about the term “open”. You pay 60% of the price for a third of the park and you have a four hour window. A lot of what makes this park great is closed off. I hadnt been to Busch Gardens in over 30 years. Spent the day here using the free Veterans tickets. Have to say, it was fun. The boys went off on their own (being teenagers) as soon as we entered the park. So, ended up following the path around the whole place. Enjoyed people watching, taking in each country as it came along. Even had fun at the Sesame Street park for the little kids since Im a big kid myself. Ample sitting benches & shaded areas to get out of the sun. The signs are pretty easy to read so you can get to where you wanna go. Maps are available at each country. Lines werent too bad. Food prices are up there so getting a meal & drink package is worth it if spending the whole day in the park.

Very cool park, great theming and fun rides. Love the whole park being built into the forest, makes it not nearly as hot when the sun is out.

Very, very expensive....yet an Amazingly beautiful, fun experience. All the colors and trees; you just cant put into words, you have to experience it. Loved the shows Gloria, the Grinch, and ice skating. All so professionally done. Kept my interest was so happy then I went in to see them. The shows are entertainment you just cannot miss.

Weve had season passes for years and loved every second of it. Cobid has ofcourse made it a lot harder to come, and a lot of rides have been shut down, but nonetheless its still a GORGEOUS park and a delightful time. Get the BBQ if youre planning to eat here.

I bought season passes for my Fiancee Birthday before I new that I had to make reservations to get into the park. The day I bought the passes they didnt have any spaces opened. I wanted to take him to Bush Gardens (HALLOWEEN Harvest ) for his birthday 10/29. The morning before his bday they had an open spot on his Bday from 5pm to 9pm. We ended up taking my mom( Ive never been to any amusement park with her so it was so fun to see her have so much fun). We all had fun but they closed off half the park and didnt have Hallowoscream like they normally do so I was a little bit disappointed.

Paid for a membership, then the pandemic struck. Still have to pay for the membership without using the park. While Busch Gardens was fun while its open, to still ask for membership even when the park is closed is outrageous. No respect for costumers, just plain greedy.

I have been going to this theme park every year since 2009, & I love it! It has amazing shows, for every season its open. It has amazing food and drinks (especially during Howl Scream), and great rides. My sister and I go up almost every weekend its open, no matter the season, to either see just the shows or just to eat. Its a great place for families, or even to meet up with friends that you havent seen in a while (which my sister & I also do). Im a pass member and dont see that changing anytime soon.

An amazing park. Having grown up in Florida Im use to Disney. I did not think anyone else could pull off a Disney-level experience. Busch Gardens has. Of course, the rides are bigger and badder than a Disney park. But the themes are just as good. Clean park. Wonderful staff.

Joke of a park during the covid-19 experience right now. Half of the park is open to reduce capacity yet by doing that everyone is all in one part of the park together. Makes no sense. The only good ride open is the griffin and again, everyone is all in one spot making the line ridiculously long. Waste of time and might as well stayed closed!

I wish with the reduced hours, they would reduce the price of renting a scooter. I spent 50.00 plus tax for 3 hours to be able to spend the time with family.

It was a good time for social distancing. Went for Coasters and craft brews. Most places offer at least a sampling of craft with the opportunity to buy. At $9.00 a beer and only three Coasters there should have been something.

Busch gardens did a fantastic job enforcing rules and keeping people safe! We watched an employee nicely ask someone to put their mask up, the person went crazy and spit at the employee, and they called security/police and got her removed from the park. It was awesome.

Came here for my first time to the Christmas village and it was a blast! So many pretty lights around the park and the atmosphere was just beautiful. It was really like you were walking through a winter wonderland and really puts you in the Christmas spirit. I cant Express enough on how good the shows were! They were so well put together and everyone did an amazing job! And you can still do the rides and get pictures with santa among with so many other fun things! It has something for everyone. If you are looking for something Christmas to do I would highly recommend coming here! Its well worth it.

This park is amazing. they have quality food, the park is always very clean, they are very environmentally aware, and are very safe, the rides are all great, the staff are nice and welcoming, and there are plenty of shows to watch, there are lots of animals that you can see and you can even feed some of them, and the price is worth it, the rides barely ever break down and are kept in good condition, the park has lots of greenery and is overall beautiful. I hope this review convinces you to visit the park. stay safe
