The place is very unsanitary. And the staff aren’t watching the children and being very disrespectful to me and my kids, will neverGo back

The WISC is an amazing place from soccer for kids to adults. They have laser tag and rock climbing. If you need something to keep your kids busy on a rainy day this place is for you.

I have a membership at this rec center but it always smells like Stinky feet! its not very clean either. And if you have a membership in order for your kids to play around in the jungle gym or the rock climbing wall you have to pay extra for them to use that. The swimming pool is very nice although the chlorine level must be pretty high because when I walked in there to check out the pool my eyes started burning and I started to cough. When my membership expires I will not be rejoining. Take your money and join a different Rec Center

We had a 3 year olds birthday party there. The kids had a ball, thats all that matters.

Something for everyone. You can see all the things to do on the website so I wont list. Its always very clean and well staffed. Restrooms are always clean too. Its a really well maintained facility and a safe place for kids of all ages to play. They seem to do a good job of bringing in a variety of events too.

There is something for everyone at WISC. But in comparison to other modern gyms, its fitness equipment leaves a lot to beat desired. A lot of the equipment is old and too spread out. However, with regards to kids activities and facilities, WISC is a 5 out of 5. And its swimming pool temperature is set for swimmers, not water aerobics.

Excellent facilities, nice staff. The coaching staff for youth sports is very passionate and will teach your kids well. There is a wide range of activities for the whole family as well.

No sanitary measures in kids and family zones. 3 members of my Family got extremely sick after enjoying family fun day, hand sanitation station was empty in play area and no sanitation between users in lazor tag, or climbing equipment

Fantastic place, tons of fields and space. Efficiently run with tons of parking which helps lower the frustration level for parents. My son has done both swimming at the indoor pools and played soccer and everything has always been great.Highly recommended!

What an amazing facility! It is so massive and they somehow keep the greens maintained and everything stays clean. Both of my boys play baseball here and soccer. We also go just for the playground and I taught my youngest how to ride a bike here. My whole family will have great memories of the WISC.

Great place to visit. Lots of things for kids to do also. Tower climbing lots of fun for kids.

Pretty wild in the play area with little organized supervision, which was fine for me and my older kids but may be a concern for safety over all.

Very impressive. Parking a little rough on swim meet nights. Consider keeping the field area open during those nights.

I play indoor soccer at WISC adult leagues. They have a really nice indoor turf field, the games reasonably well organized. The building has a decent AC so it is fine to play there in the summer. They have other activities going on in different rooms, but I dont know much about them.

I go there almost every day to the pool for swim practice and I love it

I love the hospitality, the experience was great! The food at the restaurant there was pretty good they even sold breakfast

Serves its function. The added bonus is the upper floor where you can get a high view of the action.

Clean and convenient. 3 stars because fields have very tiny and ground level identifying signs. Need bigger signs to see from parking lot.

The fitness academy is fantastic! This place literally has it all WOD, HIIT, bootcamp, yoga, Barre, dance, soccer, gymnastics, swimming, training, a regular gym, indoor/outdoor, friendly awesome staff, oh and martial arts, I think they even have counseling services! Can you tell Im impressed ️

The fields were great. When visiting though, make sure you bring your own chair. :)

Very nice fields get for the kids playing sports as long as the refs are not playing favorites towards one team over the other.

Great place for before and after school care, we also enjoy Sunday funday at the WISC.

Good locker rooms and a good pool for meets, but the water is freezing!!!!!

Great place to take the kids for indoor fun

My players love this indoor facility for soccer! There are other things to do inside, as well. After a soccer match, take the kids to play laser tag! They had a blast doing that. There is a large workout gym there, as well as facilities for birthday parties! Please like my review if it helped you.

Family oriented exercise & sports center. Offers a kid-centered play area, & a sports program. Modest exercise machine area, but much larger free-weight area. Has separate swim building with large lap pool and a smaller warm-water pool.

Very nice salt pool. Not the best for competition as there’s no where to warm up

Nice, clean, and organized.

They had a venue big enough for the gymnastics competition that my granddaughter was in. Although there was extremely limited seating it was a nice facility and also had a small eatery.

Just signed up. It seems to be a quiet place. Cheapest around too.

My son went to the preschool at WISC for 9 months when he was 2 years old. It was not a good experience for us. The teacher talked on the phone all day, spoke harshly to the kids, did not acknowledge the parents when dropping or picking up, and seemed like she did not enjoy being a teacher at all. I addressed these concerns with the director and got a very generic response. I got the impression that nothing would be done. I could not find one person there who seemed to care about my child. I pulled my 2 year old out and put him in a new preschool. He has been at the new school for almost 10 months and it has been great.

I attend an annual weekend-long martial arts seminar at WISC. The surrounding grounds are beautiful, and the facility matches. Everything was clean and well organized, and the staff was very friendly. The play areas for the kids looked fun, but unfortunately I didnt get a chance to play :)

Nice visit everyone was so nice especially the young lady at the entrance desk, also I would like you to know the wife of your Lawyer stopped and helped my Daughter and myself to get back to our car as we got lost on the walking trail I am on OXY and I dont think I would have made it without her help, so sorry I cant remember her name but a great person. She also is a lawyer who is a law professor at W&M, hope this gets back to her.Thanks

Great place. Lots of variety

Outdoor facilities are great. Indoor facilities are pretty good, but not as good as the James City County rec center. They offer a bunch of different classes and activities. My daughter has done gymnastics and outdoor soccer so far. The gymnastics program was ok. I love the soccer fields.

2018-06-16 my nephews birthday was here, the kids (and I) played soccer indoor and then ate pizza and birthday cake in a room. The personnel are very nice and I highly recommend this place for birthday party and activities! Plenty of parking.

The upstairs laser tag, Clip and climb, and playground is (the zone) over priced for what it is but is a good break from the heat. The kids camps are very affordable but do not expect too much organization. The turf field is the best in the area. They have a new indoor pool. Overall, it is a nice place to have in town.

The pool and pool deck are more than 5 stars. Outstanding facility. All employees are very friendly and helpful. The pool locker room is about average. Therefore I gave 4 stars. I just started swimming laps at WISC and love the pool.

Wonderful gym, feels like your family!

Im glad we went on Funday Sunday because i wouldnt pay 20 per person. 10 was pushing it. The laser tag equipment didnt work. The assistance didnt seem to be too enthusiastic about helping but they helped and werent rude. And its dirty. The kids had fun despite the lasers not working and nobody wanting to fix them. May go again if they do some upgrading.

I just love this place on top of it all Conor and Ashley are such amazing people they go out of their way to make sure our kids have what they need and try to teach them loyalty and respect they do so much more than what theyre paid to do.

Fun for all ages!! My son enjoyed rock climbing, the rope obstacle course, the playground, soccer, laser tag, and laser maze.

Great quick family outing for homeschoolers. One price for family, and get the rock climbing, laser tag and maze, childrens play areas. Great for ages 2-16 and then my old self too just to mess around with the climbing walls :)

Great for all sporting events

Not impressed at all. Anytime any issue ever happened, I had to find out from my 3 year old son and had to follow up with teachers the next day. My son was told by his brand new teacher the first day meeting her (3 weeks into the school year) he couldn’t use his comfort blanket during naptime after using it for a year with multiple other teachers present, then was told to he needed to be quiet while he was crying. It’s disappointing to know that they put such pressure on a child at such a young age, and with no correspondence about daily occurrences except a small behavior notebook that they write one sentence a day.

Absolutely astounding facility! Laser tag, laser maze, wall climbing, indoor playground, beautiful turf covered soccer field, gymnastic room, two indoor pools, several rooms of fitness equipment for adults. They even have a shop and a cafe when you get hungry.

The soccer fields were good. The indoor facilities werent as clean as I would have expected.
