What a nice golf course with friendly staff. Very unique layout and fast greens. White tee box is normally easier from other courses, but not at this course. It does make it shorter but not easier. I will definitely go back to try from different tee box.I will recommend this course it worths the drive and the price.

Had a lot of fun playing this course. It was pretty challenging and it was very breezy as well as a tad on the chilly side. But one of our 4some shot a 1 over 72. He had never seen or played the course before...it was fun to watch.

A must play if youre anywhere near the area. Course is maintained well and a great setup all around

Other than being cart path only we loved the course! Played there 3 days in a row.

Fairways and greens were in great shape, staff was incredibly friendly, and the pace of play was superb (though expected mid-morning). Decent hole variety with more of a challenge on the back 9, will definitely return when Im in the area again.

Really nice course. It is very well kept and everyone was friendly. No issues teeing off at our correct time. The course is rated 4:35 and my group of newbies finished it in slightly under 4.

Course is in great shape--kudos to the maintenance crew and management for a great course at a great price considering conditions.

Excellent customer service with the Pro Shop and I have been golfing at Kiskiack for a few years since I live in Williamsburg. I used to work at a golf course and am a high school golf coach, so I am very much aware of how the operations of a golf course is ran. But I will not golf at Kiskiack again and will ask that my players not golf there anymore as well. This is due to the maintenance crew and supervisor that decided that being a paying customer was not important. I understand working the greens and watering, but not to stop the pace of play when you’re less than 100 yds from the green and so my brother and I let them finish, but while the guy was putting up the hose my brother began to chip on the green, in which the maintenance guy decided to drive in front of him during his stroke. The maintenance guy could’ve waited that few seconds, but then the supervisor drives out on the course to find us only to challenge us on why we told his guy he was wrong for his actions which could’ve resulted in his injury. But then we witnessed the same maintenance guy hold up another group 2 holes behind us for the exact same scenario we experienced. I would suggest better training of customer service for the maintenance crew, after all we pay to have an excellent golf experience.

Great course! I played in a tournament here. They had a silly rule that you could only drink beer out of a cup and straw. Very weird. Beer got hot quick. But the golf course was fantastic.

Challenging track for golfers of every skill level but forgiving and fair if you play from the appropriate tee boxes.

Kiskiack golf club was a very nice course.Tee boxes were okay not tore up that bad. Fairways are in decent shape. Keep your tee shots in the fairways. The rough is a tad long. Greens were in good shape. You have the lazy people that dont want to fix there divots. Every hole has some sort of elevation change. Make sure you call and check about cart path only or 90 degree. This course is challenging to walk.The staff was very nice and friendly. The girl behind the counter was helpful and knowledgeable. The cart girl was always around. She does a wonderful job getting around the course.

The course was in great shape. The fairways were cut perfectly and the greens played really fast and were impeccable. I will have to say that the bunkers were horrible and needed much attention. But if your golf game keeps you on the grass then you have nothing to worry about. Just stay out of the traps.

First timers as I was visiting my son who is stationed nearby for the holiday weekend. We enjoyed a nice relaxed round on a beautiful course. Im looking forward to coming back and playing whenever we come to visit. Id imagine the course gets even better as the season goes along. Today the fairways were soft and damp but the greens were firm and quick, but, true and fair. Really smooth but fast, felt like a 12-13 stimp!Ten o clock tee time and had the course pretty much to ourselves or so I thought until we got to 10 and all of a sudden there was a twosome right in front of us and one behind. They werent that busy to have to send people off the back in front of us but it was all good. We werent held up and we were offered a chance to go ahead after a few holes but declined because they were moving fine. All in all a very nice round. Still young at only 20 years but I see this property maturing into an even finer course. Didnt hurt to break 80 first time without my rangefinder! Nice !

Very fun course! Elevation changes add a lot of fun. This is the kind of course that makes you better, but not because its easy. Definitely demands your best. Very pretty terrain. Clubhouse staff is great (Thanks again Patty!) and the Aleworks Sabado Domingo is an awesome mid-round draft! Just a super way to spend the day!

A very good course, 19th hole is a pleasure, staff is excellent and very concerned about your experience, all around good time.Unfortunately the bunkers were washed out, but it is winter and the rest of the course is solid.

This course is in great shape from the fairways to the greens. The bunkers could use some love but this place is a great facility and the staff is AWESOME!

Extremely friendly and nice staff, smiles all around as well as being very hospitable and helpful towards new players! The other golfers were also very friendly and seemed like all of them were having a good time. Loved the beautiful scenery, challenging but fun holes, clean grass, and just the size of the golf course in general. Definitely will come back once Im in Williamsburg again, this is definitely the place to go to for a nice golfing experience!

We had a great time here at Kiskiack. The course was in good shape and was also very challenging and fun. I look forward to going back at some time.

The course was in excellent condition after all the rain we had. Will be coming back again soon to play once more. Staff were also wonderful to help the day go well.

Truely nice area, very clean. Not far from the interstate. It is also a meet up spot for road bikers to venture off from.

Course is really wet, can’t control weather. Prices are reasonable. Greens sub par but it’s early season. Nice course, didn’t blow my mind but a course that I wouldn’t mind playing again. Hospitality was par. Good round.

This golf club is in a beautiful setting in Williamsburg. The purpose of our visit was to plan/organize a wedding for my son. They are going to have a sunset May wedding. The picked the perfect spot!!! So very excited for this wonderful day!!!

I felt compelled to review this course since it was one of the nicest and most fun courses I’ve played in awhile; and for a very reasonable price. I’ve paid 10x the greens fee for “highly rated” courses that were not nearly as fun. I played a highly rated course in the area the next day and was very disappointed. This course was challenging without being crazy difficult just for the sake of being difficult. The course was pretty, in great condition, and fun to play. I highly recommend it.

I shot a measly 88 from the black tees here. Windy and cold conditions paired with undulating fairways makes for a challenging round. Back nine plays harder than front nine and greens play a but slower than they look. Overall, it was a great experience. I was paired with 3 random players and they were all excellent company and terrific golfers. I would suggest looking over the course before teeing off. Found myself driving into trouble because a lack of knowledge. Find the fairway and low scores can be obtained.

The course is in great shape. However, the starter, Leo was extremely rude and unprofessional. Ive been to this course 5 times over the past year and half and every time he is grumpy and angry. Today our tee time was at 11:30 and it was packed so there was no need to arrive to the tee box early. We drive up at 11:29 and Leo asks what tee time we have and proceeds to tell us we are late and he will get us on after several more groups. He shows us his watch and its set 5 minutes faster than what is on our cell phone clock. We drive up to the tee box and the other 2 some we were partnered with havent even teed off yet but he continues to yell at us and tells us to take our cart back. Finally had to speak to someone inside to talk some common sense into this guy and they convinced him to let us go after the next group. Why is this guy always grumpy and in a bad mood? Surely it cant be only when I come to golf here. I can imagine others feel the same way. Course gets a 4/5 ...Leo gets 1/5

Not a friendly place to golf. Unless you feel you are better than the rest of the world. The golf course is fun and challenging though keep to yourself

Fun course to play. Always slow due to tee times 9 minutes apart. Pack a lunch or dinner because you wont be home early. 9 minute tee times would work for a par 3 course but not here.

Its been a few years since I have played Kiskiak. It was going downhill at the time. Hats off to the new owners. Everything was in great shape and the course was beautiful. Keep up the good work.

The staff is the epitome of complete customer satisfaction. Course in ok shape-obviously has suffered from recent rains. Greens in good shape as were fairways. Traps need sand badly. Course was user friendly. Not real long

Played in Early June and the place was outstanding! wonderful greens, well maintained fairways and just a beautifully landscaped course. We were very impressed with the grounds and the staff and will return the next time we are in Virginia.

Kiskiack hosted the Birdies for Life Tournament benefiting the American Cancer Society on August 8 2015. An awesome experience.!The course was in fabulous condition. The staff could not have been more professional, friendly or helpful. This was my first time at the course and thing I liked best is that there are no houses, condos, roads, structures, etc. around the course. It is like playing golf through a forest. Lush woods surround the property. I couldnt help but notice the wallet friendly price point as compared to other Williamsburg courses. Strongly recommended. I would describe this as a well kept secret. Looking forward to going back-especially early morning. Keep up the good work!

Great golf course, Five stars for the staff and five stars for the course. The only drawback to the course is the thick, thick Bermuda rough. You loose balls and it slows down play looking for them if you dont stay in the fairway. Definitely worth the time to play.

Had a great time today at kiskiak. The course was in great shape, fairways,tees and greens were all in awesome condition. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Its a fun course to play and the price was very reasonable. Well be back.

Great golf course. It is a challenge to all level of golfers. Definitely one of the best close by to Richmond and Williamsburg.

Start to finish- 7/8/17 arrived in parking lot and noticed everything clean but very informal and relaxed. no pressure. dropped my bag. went inside and squared up. very clean, courteous and professional. got my cart and picked up my bag. hit a few balls on the range to warm up. grabbed a snack and drink from the very nice people at the bar and hit the course. signage is clear. cart paths are clear. there are numerous water cooler stations about the course. ( thank you - it was hot today ) tee boxes are clearly marked and nicely maintained. rolling terrain of fairways that are in beautiful condition and again very nicely maintained. deep bunkers jut into the fairways as intimidation hazards. these are penalty bunkers. you lose a shot by going in these bunkers. deep rough mandates you to stay on the fairway and rolling terrain of the rough creates increased difficulty of hitting from the edges. greens are in nearly perfect condition . theyre fast enough for the weekend warriors. post game- drove the cart out to the car and dropped my bag with no grief. ( returned to cart return respectfully ) ill be back on every opportunity. the ONLY negative i have is the bunker sand is not the fine white beach sand, its the heavier orange brick type / more coarse sand. not bad enough to take away a star.

My husband and I had tee times for 11/7 and were rained on through most of the front. We decided to quit after 11 holes and when I told the Pro Shop personnel we loved the course and would have liked to finish it, they offered us rain checks for the following morning. Excellent customer service and reasonable prices considering the quality of the facility. Will play here every chance I get when in Williamsburg, VA
