The Mohegan sun pocono was nice and clean on the inside. There are bars to eat, and drink . Quite a few actually. A lot of different games to play. The only thing that put a damper in my visit was people at every counter of the floor to if you once you came back on the floor. I feel like if you were I’d when you came in that was too much . I also lost a person that was with me during my visit and I talked to the security team and they let me know that they couldn’t page the person over head because the person had to be dying. I was disappointed by that statement because it could of been a better way to handle that situation. I also wasn’t from the state so a certain amount of fear set in . Other than that the place was clean and fun.

Positive: Layout. Negative: No refrigerators in room. Walk from hotel to casino was odd.No ice buckets in room. Covid shutdown really had a bare-bones feel.

Its a beautiful place for here in northeast PA! Granted there are no other places in northeast PA, but Ive compared them to other places around and its new and nice! High security and very helpful staff

GOOGLE PIN IN INCORRECT LOCATION!! The actual casino is less than half a mile to the east which you can easily see in satellite view, make sure you select that as your desired location if you need directions. Do not go to that random sheet metal building that the google pin is on for some reason.The actual resort is very nice and clean. Nice atmosphere and good staff. The poker room is very nice. There are tvs on the wall that you can watch while playing.

It was our first time at this casino. We usually go to Mohegan in Connecticut. I must say we really had a good time. The casino was very clean and the slot payoffs seem to be very fair. We spent more than 7 hours playing and looking forward to going back...Thank you.

This place has a lot if restaurants which is cool. This is a circular shaped casino and the slots are packed in there. Don’t go on a weekend! Great promo for new members.

I have returned the my unlucky place for one last time, or so I thought. I will finally remove it from the no win list. Did great . Lost my roll the first three times here. But, I gave it one more chance and won. I play for fun and had a great time every time. But you do need to win a bit to be able to return.Now with the germ covid-19 stuff.Top notch job. Stayed overnight and the room was excellent you could smell that it was cleaned throughout. We had dinner at Ruths Chris and it was excellent. The casino was great even though I had to wait for a while to get to a roulette table. Definitely will be making another trip there in the future.

We went down to celebrate my fathers birthday...in March We cancelled back then and decided to go now after my mom passed away in August. We stayed overnight in the hotel. It was very clean and I came home a winner and my dad ended up even. Overall, a great trip and stay.

First of all it feels as if it’s closed. As soon as we pulled up… No sign the valet was closed for the hotel. We had to walk from the parking lot. Place was deserted as most of the stores are closed.You can get drinks on the floor but no alcohol… What’s the point of that?Rooms are dirty with absolutely no amenities… Not even a Keurig. No refrigerator. No room service. Nothing. No one is here and they gave us a room looking at a concrete wall!Place needs to be completely cleaned.

It is a good atmosphere and does have friendly staff. However, during this covid time, if you play tables I would not recommend traveling to come. Only one side of tables were open, not enough table space, and if you like playing blackjack for less than $25 a hand good luck getting a spot. There were people waiting to get on the blackjack tables and dealers at tables that no one wanted to play. When asked about possibly opening more blackjack tables we were told not enough staff. If you decide to stay in the hotel, they do not have refrigerators. We travel here all the time to play instead of going to the casino near our home but these last few times the experience was not worth it. It will be a long while before we come back if we come back.

Had a good time playing texas holdem. Had a better time at 3 card poker. When I hit my straight flush at 70 to 1 odds I should of got paid 350 at a 5 dollar bet. Not 220.

Went there on a whim with some friends of mine for an overnight stay. The level of sanitation was excellent and although portions of place were not fully open we were able to have a good time losing money. The staff is above average in every facet and the food we had was wonderful.

Just visited the casino. Nice and clean, but small casino floor with most of the games and tables not in use. Free and ample parking, some nice restaurant options and is currently smoke free due to covid restrictions.

Came here on Saturday Halloween night and got a room which was not cheap. Knew no alcoholic beverages were being served but was assured you you could get soft drinks. Went to casino for 5 hours and not once did I see anyone offering a soft drink. Had to go purchase one in store. Also did not see one employee cleaning any machine. Had to chase down an employee to ask a question about a beverage. If I could have given zero stars I would have. Will not be back. So much for cleaning machines during covid. Mohegan Sun you get a zero. Will be reporting you to cdc for you lack of cleanliness on slot machines.

The worst casino ever! Horrible food! Horrible gaming floor. Bad lighting. Ignorant staff especially security. Carded at every corner it almost feels like harassment. If I could give it no stars I would. Save your time go elsewhere.

Very clean, hand sanitizer everywhere,staff are very friendly,some areas are still closed but you can still get a good dinner. The way they have the gaming area is very safe glass enclosures between slot machines and table games all in all was a great time

Not happy!!! We book our 33rd anniversary here for a weekend getaway - thought we would be Pampered while we were there but were abruptly disappointed when we arrived (with NO NOTIFICATION) no valet, bellman, pool, spa, roomservice, entertainment, bars (but you can pay for softdrinks, juice or water) to have prepared for you to go - but not alcohol! Im not complaining about just the alcohol but the whole thing. We would of never spent the $400+ per night for a suite (with a view of the parking lot) across from the ice machine and 1 door down from the elevator if we knew the situation before/when we booked.

Great Casino. The people are always nice. Beautiful hotel. Well cared for. Food court needs more choices for quick eating. But great resturants are there too.

Great stop over in a motorhome. Plenty of parking and security will drive you on to feed the slot machines.

Great casino. Has loads of current slots plus tables. Several food options are available, but no buffet due to Covid19.

We normally enjoy coming to Mohegan, but I think this is our last trip. Because of COVID, barely half the tables were open, and the ones that were open, only 3 people could sit at one time. Blackjack tables had more auto shuffllers than manual ones. When asked if more tables would open, was told no because they are short staffed. So instead of closing tables that has no one playing and opening more BJ tables, was told they couldnt do that. They only had one side of the gaming tables open, and were told the only side opens on Friday and Saturday nights. There were people 3-5 deep waiting to playing blackjack. I wouldnt waste your time or money until restrictions are lifted. A total disappointment.

Not much fun with covid-19 restrictions. Favorite bars closed, no live entertainment, no room service, can only drink alcohol when eating a meal & THAT stops at 10:00 pm, no alcohol on casino floor, cannot sit next to another human being, & wearing mask. I know its not their fault, its our governors fault - but just no fun at all.

Booked a luxury king room for last night. Mainly booked the room because on the website for only the luxury king room was a picture of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries which I assumed was included with the room. Got to Mohegan Sun and checked in. Upon entering the room it looked nice, everything was clean and great. One main lamp didnt work because the light bulb was blown. Couldnt watch TV in our room because the channels kept glitching out and the screen kept going black. I was NOT going to pay $11 to watch a movie at all. Our room did NOT come with the complementary champagne and strawberries. The front desk clerk stated the only difference in our room with the others is the fact that its on a higher level and comes with a view, which was literally of nothing but parking lot. Woke up to horrible back pain because the bed was so hard and lumpy. The motion sensor on the bathroom kept periodically turning on throughout the night for no reason. Went to dinner at Bar Louie which was another let down. My husband ordered a jack and coke, and it was definitely not jack daniels in that drink that was $10. His other drink was disappointing as well. Food was subpar aside from the Bavarian pretzel bites. My martinis were the only good thing of the entire dinner that was $90. I will not be staying or recommending this place to anyone. Unless you plan on going for just the casino with no food, drinks, or hotel stay, do NOT waste your money or time.

It is a little confusing getting here. Signs are small and fail to direct you to the entrance. Good luck guessing whether youre parking near the casino or the hotel.The first thing I noticed upon entry to the casino was an inescapable smoke smell.I suppose I should be flattered that it took no less than three staff members a total of fifteen minutes to determine that I am over 21. And thats with me presenting legitimate picture ID immediately upon entry. Other staff was cold when approached, and far from welcoming, except in one of the stores I entered. Staff need customer service retraining.This is not one of the larger casinos. There is a disproportionate amount of senior citizens compared to other people, so most everyone moves slowly. The non-smoking sections still have carryover smoke odor; better ventilation is needed.Despite both checking online and verifying over the phone, this location would no permit the redemption of Momentum Dollars earned at another Mohegan Sun.Regarding the layout, when you make your way into the center of the building where the slots are, you will find a bar area at the core. Expect to stay inside there a while, not because there is anything particularly aluring inside (shops and dining are around the circumference), but rather because of the labyrinthine fence they have keeping you penned inside the slot area.Overall, I was disappointed; Mohegan Sun does better at other locations.On the plus side, when I visited the bathroom, I found it was kept clean. The floors are also mostly free of debris. The lights are slightly dimmed to a pleasant degree, and not to the point where you might not recognize your spouse.I did not stay at the hotel at this location, so this review does not reflect it.

I personally did not have a good experience I was harassed by the floor manager while I was trying to have a drink and play Blackjack. My opinion the floor manager had some type of Napoleon complex and wanting to insert his authority over me so I stopped playing because they made me feel very uncomfortable and non welcome. So they lost potentially $3,000 that I was willing to lose that night

Wearing a mask while being enclosed by a plastic divider sitting at card tables is way over the top, the air movement is minimaland you can barely hear anything... but you can take your mask off at a dinner table while speaking to the waiter??! seriously tho the same exact thing is happening in Atlantic city, but atleast there you can get a drink to go as long as the top is on .. ridiculous

Terrible! The staff at the casino are very unfriendly. When I went to cash out for the evening, the cashier didnt say two words to me! I said thank you after she gave me the money. No acknowledgement, youre welcome, nothing. None of the staff were polite or friendly. The place was very depressing. It was a Friday evening and maybe 1/3 full. None of the staff looked happy or welcoming and they had scowls on their faces the entire time. None of the restaurants were open. The casino gives no comps as well. There is nothing fun about Mohegan Sun Pocono. There wasnt even a house band playing. Definitely wont be back. It was an extremely depressing atmosphere in there.

I didnt like that they require one to wear a mask. And was denied entry without one. We witnessed an elderly man being harassed for not wearing his mask the way they wanted him to. I believe that wearing a mask should be a choice. I had been taught that as an American Citizen that I am free to make my own choices.

Hotel was great easy to get to and the facility is very clean and food choices are very good. Bar Louie food was delicious had the BLTT yes 2 Ts. Our hotel room very clean comfortable bed and roomy just felt like I was in and old 1920s apartment building or office with all he brown doors and wall paper and from the style of doors other than that place is great

Ruth Chris was ama ing and worth the money. Got a room at 11pm so we could stay. No entertainment right now and no pool. Mask on at all times unless sitting to eat or drink. Room was very nice and clean. However it was a 5k night. Machines are trying to recover there lost time.

Dirty casino and very unfriendly dealers. The slot payouts seem to be much lower than most casinos i have been to. And that seems to be a common knowledge concensus amongst the locals. Restaurants are very nice and there is definitely a nice assortment of slots. They cpukd use more tables on a weekend night though.

Beautiful place, great high end restaurants, beautiful rooms, has pool and weight room but off a main hall. Has spa that was expensive. Not very tribal. Not like CT. Great valet. Great hotel. Smaller then expected casino but still good. Jackpots small. Highest was 1600$ on slots. I like that when a jackpots is hit the lights in center of casino light up and is announced. Downfall sweepstakes was not for new players. Can not use CT Mohegan sun card here. Very nice bar in middle of casino. More for restaurants. Few tables. Only Johny rockets open for breakfast. Near strip malls. On main Rd. Close to everything you need. Beautiful room. Nice shower. Bell hop and check in employees helpful. Sitting area in hotel for computers. Go to Isabella Restaurant for amazing dinner right next to Mohegan Sun..this is my review on their site...its a must try..From NY...this was an Awesome experience..amazing food had Fish of the day..comparable to NY restaurants .where we frequent. ...hubby had Steak..just as good..presentation was remarkable.toasted bread with freh olive oul...apps were phenomenal and appetizing.left you waiting for them to top it with main course..Michelle our server was very enthusiastic and welcoming..great prices..cant wait to go back!!..If your staying near Mohegan Sun Poconos ..you must visit this hidden treasure..makes Rustica kitchen look Rustic...

The worst casino Ive been to ever. Besides the games being tight and old, the wait staff is horrible. I ordered a drink from a few different waitresses all of which didnt have many people to wait on, and only one actually brought out a drink and then ignored me as I chased her down to try and get my drink, 2 hours after ordering the first one as I was walking out the door I got my drink only after some official employee came and ordered it for me. The waitress gave attitudes that need adjusting.

Horrible waited 45mins for anyone to come to get a scooter . Every time Im there its a long wait to get them. Miss being able to relax and drink and smoke.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. They are very nice with people with disabilities. Beautiful nature everywhere outside. Conference rooms highly functional. I would like to come there again for sure.

Poor staff and the upper management was by far the worst. NEVER TO RETURN OR EVEN ALLOW ANYONE THAT I GO WITH TO THE CABIN WILL EVER SEE MOHEGAN SUN. There was one very rude staff member who was the head guy of the simulcast... while the horse racings about a 10 min walk from casino this old man was trying to meds and he proceeded to say drink water out of bathroom. During a pandemic, while there was cases of water stacked behind the desk... then he refused to give his name, and no other employee would, they all said and Ill quote thats the boss I cant tell you his name. Wow great customer service...

Pros of hotel: Check in staff was very friendly & helpful, wish I had gotten her name.Our suite was perfect...extremely clean and modern, very spacious. Fitness area looked well-equipped, but we didnt use it during our stay. Indoor pool was on the small side, but also handicapped accessible, so bonus points for that.Cons of hotel: Check out staff was horribly rude (early hours of 1/5/2020), wish I had gotten her name. If you go and there is a young woman with blue hair at the desk, ask for someone else to assist you.We had a problem in the room (loud mechanical noises that made it impossible to sleep) that required maintenance and the previously-mentioned staff implied we were lying and thought it was funny that we had to leave at 3:30 a.m. (or stay in the suite with a nonstop noise like something metal was stuck in a fan) because she couldnt do an official check in/check out at that hour.Pros of casino area: Many different shopping and dining options for all guests. Friendly staff. Quality live entertainment.Cons of casino area: There is no physical separation between the smoking areas and the (very small) non-smoking areas. You will reek of smoke after a few minutes, whether or not you are a smoker.Bottom line: highly recommend Mohegan Sun for the hotel experience (especially if you dont have to deal with the blue-haired chick) and any non-gaming activities.

Always a good time win or lose.with covid they have some new protocols but its for the best and to follow guidelines..most machines have the plastic guards up..they have sanitary wipes all around the casino and hand sanitizer they also stopped smoking in the building but I think thats temporary and alcohol is only in designated areas for now...overall I felt it was clean and well maintained..masks must be worn.

My 1st time here, signed up for the momentum card and got 20 bucks to play with!! My only issue with Mohegan is they have smoking areas that seem to still spread into the non smoking areas.The circle design is easy to navigate without getting lost. We are lunch at a reasonable price too !

Floor managers at table games have. Atrocious manners to customers - drinking a soda they. Yell not talk. To pull mask back up. Then how do i drink my soda? Through my ears ---I walked out --- yes i created a scene to embarrass them to berate them. Not. To talk to customers that way --- then i walked out. Very clean! Hand sanitizer and sanitizer wipes available throughout the establishment. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED THE WAY THEY HANDLED RE-OPENING DURING THE PANDEMIC.

It is definitely not the same experience since reopening under Covid restrictions. Its sad.
