We have been attending concerts at Wichitas Round Mound of Sound for close to 30 years. We have never been disappointed. Its even worth the 6 hour drive it takes us to get there after our move to Arkansas 20 years ago. Tab Benoit is the last show we enjoyed at the Cotillion. We had a chance to visit with Tab Benoit after his show. He asked why we drove up from Arkansas when he had done a show down here. My response was that the Cotillion is the best venue and it was worth it to come see my favorite Blues man there. One reason is there is easy access for people with disabilities like myself. It is nice that you can reserve a table before you make the trip. Tickets are always reasonably priced. Security at the door makes me feel safe being there. The staff at the checkroom and bar were great. Best of all, there isnt a bad seat in the house which holds about 2,000 people.

This Venue really is awesome. True it maybe a little small but it is Wichita. So many people have been through there. Just ask your parents, it is amazing. The sound is perfect for any music and if you know who is working the bars, you just may get away with only having to buy one or two drinks

The most important thing to know about the Cotillion is that everything is cash-only. And make sure to print your tickets because they cant scan anything off of your phone. Make sure to take the Frontage road off Maize Road since the 111th St entrance is now closed. Parking lot is kind of a nightmare to get out of, so if you dont want to wait in line forever, leave the venue a smidge early.

I have been going here for many years and each concert is an awesome experience! More seats inside available would be nice or less reserved seating. If dont get there early enough there is no seats to sit at. Outside smoking is ok if the weather is good but it could be bigger and maybe a roof over some of it and some more tables in the outside smoking area. But none of that has stopped me from ever catching a concert here.

We love The Cotillion. The sound is always great. The event staff are fantastic. They help you with any questions and they are fast at the bar. The people at the show are there for one thing, having a good time. I have never seen any trouble at any show.Go to The Cotillion, you will be entertained.

Great place to see live music. Took my granddaughter to her first concert 2/6/20. Saw Skillet, Ledger and Ashes to the New. She too enjoyed the show!

I am disabled so the small size of this venue is a plus. It is easy to get to. Nearly every place in the building has a good view. Only problem that I have come across is this, TRIED to go see Ted Nugent and there was not a single place to sit. I had to leave without seeing the concert at all due to this. No refunds.

I went to the Cat Fancy Show. Very nice set up and watching the cats be judged was so awesome. The Judges were exceptionally verbal what, and how the place each cat.️

I love coming here for concerts. Lots of parking too. I just wish there was a broader selection of food choices. Alcohol prices are always reasonable. Security is always professional and personable.

I like the smaller setting than the arena but the sound is just as good. Really not a bad seat in the entire place.

Nice venue. Big open area for standing to hear the concert and some tables and chairs for those that need to sit. Concessions is cash only and the ATMs have a $3 charge so bring cash unlike us.

Best venue for live music shows in Kansas! No matter where you are you can see the stage. Opt for reservations or tables fill fast. Beer served from 2 bars and bring cash for everything. Plenty of stalls in bathroom. Large dance floor and my favorite venue by far in Wichita for shows. Security is not aggressively driven here, and they have an outdoor smoking section. I will forever be back to this venue!

Attended the Lana Del Rey show and the cotillion is still a gem of Wichita but it does need some improvements.

Ive attended many a concert here over the past 20 years! Its still going strong. Most recently attended a sold out show and it was a great experience as always! Rating 3 stars because its a place youd go simply for the entertainment and maybe a drink. Theres really only basic drink choices, and the venue is only having 2 bars. At a sold out venue, the lines can get long but the bartenders did plug right through the line. There are tables in the back to chill with a great view of the stage, if youre not into being a part of the crowd. The restroom is usually pretty clean and staff has always been great! Love the place. Its spacious even though it doesnt look like it. Great acoustics due to the dome design and I have never had a bad concert experience here. Friendly people and stiff drinks.

Huge dancefloor. Lots of seating around the dance floor for those who want to hangout. I loved how close Bone Thugs & Harmony was to the audience. I will definitely be back for another performance

My friend went to the parking lot to check on our friend that was kicked out and make sure she was getting home safe. She told an employee where she was going and then another employee wouldn’t let her back in to the concert and and was very rude to her. In my experiences the staff has been so rude.

Our seats were not good at all. Given I did win them I was hoping to be able to see the bands but that was not the case. We were stuck at table U2, seats 5&6 and couldnt see anything but the 5 speaker on stage and a pole. We put up with it and stayed for KWS, but left early in BGs set. Worst seats Ive EVER had and Ive been to over 100 concerts in my life.

Great venue. Not real big, not to small, just right. Alcohol can be bought by 21 years or older. Very professional, friendly people that worked that night. Will attend another concert there, as it feels very comfortable.

A great venue for live music! Its nice and small which makes the shows feel bigger. The smoking area can get pretty packed. Still my favorite pace to see a show in Wichita.

Small, but enjoyable. The security is pretty chill, and sometimes the artists talk to you in the smoking area/by merch booths

The concert was great there, but I had the worst experience trying to get out of that parking lot. It was absolutely insane and no one was there to actually direct any traffic. It might have been awful because people are terribly inconsiderate, but something should be done to make it easier (and safer) to get out of there.

The Cotillion is like home away from home. I have attended more shows there than anywhere else by far. They have made some nice upgrades and improvements in recent years without losing any of the charm or commitment to their customers. I highly recommend seeing any show there. The Cotillion ROCKS!

Really cool music venue, honestly love the setup and sound system, Ive been to alot of music venues and think this is one of the better ones, lines for food/ drinks were not super long nor for the bathrooms, friendly staff and security felt safe the entire time

The vibe here is great. They handle parking well. Got everyone in the doors quickly. I went to see A Day to Remember so there was a lot of crowd surfing and a lot of mosh pits. I can’t say enough about the security staff, they handled it great. They let everyone get wild and have fun and controlled individuals who were going too far.

I have a lot of great memories from the Cotillion and a lot of great concerts. They have stepped up their game recently by offering Nancys Amazing Sandwiches from Maize and also a good selection of craft beers mainly from Wichita Brewing. Venue is the perfect size and anywhere you stand on the floor you have a great view of the band.

The Cotillion is a great, small venue for concerts, shows, and, of course Roller Derby.At sold out concerts, parking can be an issue, & trying to leave can be a nightmare. We generally just sit it out and wait until the way is clear. There is food & drinks available. The restrooms are clean & roomy. The building is set up in a circular pattern, so its easy to get around.

We drove from Omaha to see The Pixies. The intimate venue had a domed ceiling and cool stage that added to the great vibe. The acoustics were amazing too. No long lines and a decent view from most any spot.

This is my favorite concert venue Ive ever been too. I have seen so many shows here and the sound is fantastic. The security staff is fair and consistent there, check in is easy, lines move quickly to get inside and its a blast!

It was a good time as always. Folks were friendly and the beer was cold. Dwight Yoakum put on a great show, played most of my favorite tunes.

Terrible experience we paid 200.00 with all the fees for 2 tickets and I realize they are not the best seats but when they allow people to stand in front of your table and completely block 8 peoples view we will not be back.. I will go other places first. Lots of venues and casinos within an hour away!

Nice Staff,The sound is always good,most of the bands that play there are worth every penny to see.Overall its probably the best place to have concerts in Wichita, in my opinion.

Came for the Kill Vargas showing as a photographer and videographer, the whole thing ran smoothly, the show was great, and the security kept me aware of anything to look out for while I was getting my shots. The green room was nice, well stocked with water which was helpful throughout the night. Would love to go back!
