My daughter had a wonderful birthday party. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. I was told to show up 15 mins before the party to set up. I actually ended up showing up a bit earlier and they had no problem with me leaving my things beside the table and setting up. Prior to the party I had called with a few questions and each time they were so friendly and polite. I highly recommend carousel skating center. We definitely will have future birthday parties here!! Thank you.

I go to the adult night and its a good time . The staff is amazing, and its never really crowded. Ive been going for years and have yet to see any ruckus going on . Be safe, wear a mask, and have an amazing time .

I believe this to be the most iconic of every skating center in Wichita. Im so glad to see theyre still open after 50 some years. I skated here back in the seventies and I would still highly recommend. Support your local businessman.

I love coming to adult skate night! I am terrible at skating but still have so much fun even just listening to music and playing arcade games. The staff and guests are all very kind and its a fun and positive environment. I also love the renovations they have done with the added play place for the kids :)

We had my sons 7th bday here this past weekend and it was awesome! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The kids all had an amazing time. Would definitely recommend it!

Great time here! A little dated, but will do. We had a party of 5, with 4 of us skating. Two who were skating-this was their first time. We got trainers to help them get more comfortable and at one point one was stolen. And then the other some other kid tried to steal it and I had to go retrieve it. Giving 4 stars because of the prices at the concessions. Went and got a bucket of popcorn. Not overly priced. But asked of I could just get water, a bottle is 2 dollars for a small water bottle and a pitcher is 6 dollars. I declined and went and got 5 waters out of my car. I thought that was a bit much. We got the Ultimate Pass, which includes the skates and a $10 dollar game card. There really isnt an arcade area. Just a few games in a corner. There is a fun play jungle gym zone in the back. I think the kids had a good time there, including the older two that were 12 and 16. Will return, but will stuff snacks and drinks in a purse.

We celebrated out daughters birthday at Carousel and everything was great. The staff was all more than helpful throughout our visit and made sure everything went smoothly for our daughters day!

I would give it a five like always but this time they allow you to be in there for 3 hours only when I used to pay the same almost the same amount of money and they didnt have time restrictions for the regular costumers.

Had a great time! Enjoyed the fact that everything was set up, all we pretty much had to do was show up and bring cake! Only issue I had was the pricing I felt that since I paid for a package additional guests should have been discounted, on top of the package I paid for I left spending an extra $118. Other than that great, safe, fun, friendly atmosphere.

Went for a birthday party. They had regular skates and plastic beginner skates with adjustable sizing for kids. There were rollers for the kids to hold on to while they learned how to skate. Kind of like a walker made out of PVC pipe and wheels. The play set in the back is awesome and the kids had a ton of fun playing in there when they werent skating. The adult skates run two sizes big, so if you are a size 8, get a size 6.

Nice and clean, great atmosphere. Kids love school skate nights. They look so forward to come here and skate. Good times...getting the kids away from computer and game consoles...priceless!! best entertainment value for the buck, kids have fun and go home tired.

We celebrated our sons 5th birthday at Carousel this year and were so pleased with the location, staff and amenities that came with the party package, including pizza, soda and ice cream. We will definitely recommend to others!

A Fun, Family friendly place to take the kids and have a great time. The addition of the play area in the back is pretty cool and keeps the ones who arent into skating busy busy busy! Only complaint is the amount of people can be a headache. Crowds are not my cup of tea!!

Had my sons birthday party there this weekend. Overall very satisfied and host was extremely nice. My only complaint is that the girl that was monitoring the skaters would immediately jump on you if you stopped along the wall. Even if it was for one second. For instance, one of my guests needed to ask me a question so I stopped for less than a minute to answer and she was right there to tell me I couldnt stop there. Other than that we had a great experience.

I havent been here since I was 15 years old (20 yrs ago) it has changed SO much, but so much Is also the same which is nice. Our 9 yr olds school party was here last night and the majority of her friends had a really hard time skating so they decided to play in the play zone, and had SO much fun. =) we had fun too! It brought us back to Friday night skate nights ♡ were going to teach our kids how to skate so we can make this a family outing. Its Such great exercise!

My daughter and niece love it here. They have a roller skating area or a fun play activity center. You can purchase access to one or the other or for a little more you get access to both areas. They have a gaming area and a concession area also. My daughters school has skate nights here which is also a fundraiser for the school. Very safe and clean and well managed.

The manager or whoever that runs the place, he is awesome. My friend was having a birthday party for her daughter and I brought my nephew along who is like 6 and never skated a day in life. And hes HUGE! I tried to show him along, but I dont even know how to skate lol. He was too big for the push-bar things, so the manager showed him and another kid the whole basics. Taught them a little class. He was so so so nice and patient. Thank you so much!!! He is a treasure! My friend also said he helped so much with her party. There was a door guy who helped out whenever we asked for something, so thank you! Great amazing employees!

The floors are slightly warped, and the skates and rollerblades are pretty worn down, people (guests and visitors) dont take care of anything here, they destroy the gaming machines and restrooms. And there are A LOT OF parents who think its okay to just dump off their young children and expect other strangers to watch, and care for them whole they leave the property and come back when its closing time to pick them up,

We attended our granddaughters birthday party. Besides offering an area to skate, there is climbing play area and games. I didnt skate but it was fun watching the kids and adults skate. Pizza, ice cream, and drinks are part of the birthday package and they allowed bringing cake in.

We had my sons 13th birthday party here and he loved it. We chose the adventure package, Eric was very nice/helpful, and the facility was great. Thank you!

We just had a party here for our daughter. We booked online, which was super easy and allowed us to make all of our selections before hand. The day of, we arrived and were able to get in and set up whatever we needed. There were three other parties booked, so it was busy, but we didn’t feel crowded. Our helper from the rink came out with our schedule and everything went smoothly.We also come just to skate, and we’ve enjoyed every minute. My little people are seven and four and they have a blast. The workers are always kind and helpful. We will be back and would definitely book another party.

I specifically called and spoke to an employee in reference to the price for kids on a Friday night, I was told that its kids night, starts at 7pm, and there will be a $2 skate rental fee. Nonetheless, my children and a group of friends went skating with the understanding that it was kids night and was charged $48! Relay proper information to your customers when they call to inquire! And if said employee does not know the answers find someone who does geesh!

This is the second year in a row that our daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday at Carousel. The employees are very helpful and friendly. The tables were set up already when we got there. The pizza was yummy, and we were not rushed out of the party area when they were cleaning. This party was great fun, especially since Carousel is a family friendly place! We live east of Wichita, so West Street is a ways away, but since Carousel has indoor kids activities, it is worth the drive.

We were here for a company event. Our little ones enjoyed the obstacle play area in the back. Staff was very nice and friendly.

Im giving this place a 3/5 because the DJ promised me and my girlfriend music and didnt come through. The facility is THROUGH THE ROOF. The music sucks. And if you care about your demographics, play what your demographics want. We had about a 75%/%25 young to old ratio and all that was playing was disco and old stuff. It was good music but for the sake of Wichita, MIX IT UP A LITTLE BIT. The only modern music played was at the beginning. Im bringing headphones if this place doesnt change their music choice. I saw several people with earbuds.P.S: Your staff keep cutting in front of customer and doing whatever he/she wants and cause a lot of accidents!

I did not hate this plane. I actually never say I hate anything! Anyway now that is cleared up, Carousel is a staple in Wichita. I went there when I was very young and had a blast. We need more for our kids to do that is affordable. Thats what I would add. Carousel has birthday parties etc, they allow the schools to benefit with school skates.

I havent been roller skating in 7 years. It was difficult at first but I got the hang of it after taking a spill in the rink. I highly recommend going with a group of friends and having fun skating. Unfortunately, I think the process are a bit high for skate rental and admission. And there isnt any pride differences for age groups. Kids pay the same as adults.

Every time our family attend skating at Carousel Skate Center my kids and my husband and I enjoy ourselves very much! The price to get in to skate is fair. The whole facility is very clean and that is important. The staff are professional, helpful, and friendly.We have a lot of fun family nights for school fundraisers. The kids love that one class wins a free pizza party! My kids have had so much fun here that we have had multiple birthday parties at Carousel. The price is very fair for what you will receive. The best part is the staff member who is assigned to help make sure even parents can enjoy the party. Stress free. They set up, they serve, they clean up! How awesome! My kids love the new play zone addition. Very fun, very safe, for everyone from 3 to 70! Also impressed that D. J. Checks rating on song and video before playing a request. Food is a let down, but ok. I would tell all to go and have a blast!

It’s a good place it’s just it’s to family friendly and there’s a bunch of little kids everywhere and u can do the smallest thing like hold hands w someone like ur boyfriend/girlfriend and one of the workers will be like “yOu CaNt Do ThAt HeRe We ArE tRyInG tO kEeP iT fAmiLy FrIeNdlY “ and it gets rlly annoying so if ur like a teen or something don’t go to carousel it’s not that great anymore

Love the DJ, he keeps things moving and the skate referees do a great job of covering for younger skaters that aren’t as sure footed. Everything about this rink takes me back to when I was kid! ️

Our daughter turned 10 and we promised her to throw her a larger birthday party. We were happily surprised with the pizza that was provided and the birthday host was very kind and helpful. Having never been here before it was busy but we could tell it was because it was well liked by everyone.

It was affordable and the kids really had fun. The pizza they offer is trash though.

Its always nice taking the kids here to skate.

Roller skating here is very relaxing and fun with friends, they have an arcade section with a few games, a spot where you can buy some food like pizza and a giant pretzel, and if you want roller skates, you can go to the small shop on the right to buy accessories, t-shirts and roller skates. The only problem is that the rental skates cause blisters a lot faster than ones you bring.

Bring your own in-lines folks. Standard skates on rental only (maybe if youre a common shoe size, see below). Music is appropriately bouncy and smooth for the light to moderate exercise youre going to get. About 4 birthday parties going on when we went, and still plenty of space for amateurs like us. Skate rental went smoothly, and there was plenty of supervision...at least three on the skate floor and a party host for the table for anything you forgot to bring. Kudos! Well be back.

Its great and all, but I just dont like how the track is smaller than it was before. The new play place is a great spot for the kids, but I just feel like it shortened the track.

Carousel Skate is amazing to work with! We have our school skating parties there, but last week had our first birthday party there. My daughter turned 8; her and her friends had a blast! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. You have to check out the new play zone also!

If you like skating its pretty fun. Make sure to ask for the one liner skates if thats what you are use too because they only have the regular ones out.

Birthday Party Success! We hosted a Birthday party for our 6 year old son and 12 of his friends last weekend. We were so pleased with how seamless everything went! The party planner was super quick to keep us set with everything we needed and running things so smoothly. Parents were allowed to walk around in their tennis shoes to help their young skaters skate. Everyone commented on how fun and exciting the party was. It may seem a tad on the expensive side, but as for someone who has hosted a lot of destination parties, I can say you definitely get your moneys worth here!

Best place for birthdays or just getting the family out to go do something. This place is well managed, clean and really fun. if you have a birthday party there they go out of their way to make sure that you have everything you need and help you with anything you need as well. this is one of our favorite places to go and weve been to several birthday is here this year with friends. Highly recommend for anyone

We just had a birthday party for our son at Carousel. We were enthusiastically greeted. Our reserved table was set up perfectly. We had a birthday host and she was very attentive with taking trash and refilling drinks and asking if we needed anything. There was a schedule and they made announcements when it was time for pizza, cake, birthday recognition, and time to end. My son and his friends didnt want to leave. They enjoyed skating, video games, and the Play Zone. We had an age range from 8 to 60s and everyone had fun! Thanks for taking all the hassle out of throwing a fun party! I got to relax this year :)

Fun, clean, and well organized! My kids had a blast and it brought back memories of my childhood! The play area was a plus for my 6 year old who gave up skating after falling a couple of times. He had fun in the play area and we had fun skating!

I am pretty dissapointed with the new management. I used to see a lot of teenagers come here every weekend to have wholesome fun somewhere safe and enjoyable. Now I feel like the rink is only geared towards younger children. I think it is great to include families, however Friday nights used to have a lot of teenagers and very good music. I like the new change it is just unfortunate that older kids cannot enjoy as much as they used to.

Great place to skate but I started to feel like I was going to pass out so when I stood in line for a drink a couple other people came up and cut in front of me and they got help first even though the worker clearly saw me standing there first so other than the good customers and a great environment to skate the employees are awful
