We had a great weekend! I surprised my two great nieces to a weekend in a cabin and tons of fun! Thank you to Meghan at the cafe/store she was friendly and made us feel welcome. Caleb, well what a wonderful young man! We enjoyed seeing him just nearly everywhere on the grounds. Our favorite 3 different pools plus a splash pad!!! Wow what a sunset! The only reason this wasnt five star...not in their control. Big train horn at 10pm, 12am, 2am waking me up. Next time I will bring a fan to drown out that sound. Thank you
We went to this Resort instead of throwing a party for my 7-year-olds birthday. He was so very happy he made the decision to come here over having a party. This experience was like going to summer camp for the weekend. The accommodations were very nice. We stayed in a cabin. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. There were activities basically every 30 minutes. The kids had a blast. Most if the activities were free. The main things you pay for are laser tag, paintball, and ceramic crafts. The boys want to go back again and go experience some is the other Jellystone resorts around our state. If you have littles this is a must do. Parents be ready you will be worn out by the end of the weekend.
Great people. Well maintained. Always weekend activities for everyone during the off season.
Always a wonderful place to stay. Clean and tidy. Kind workers. Its our favorite stop.
Beautiful setting for my neice & her new husband!! Beautiful all around and was welcoming & warm at every venue!! Will definitely recommend to others searching for that special place to wed!!
Compared to some other Jellystone Parks weve been to, there are small things they can tweak to boost into the 5 star category. All in all, the grounds are well kept and beautiful. We love the added country feeling with all the farm animals. Improvements can be made with the bedding in the cottages ( made me feel like grandmas house). I prefer the clean, crisp, hotel feel... and the room smelled old. Took forever to figure out the air situation, wound up sleeping in our car only to find that the air did work, just had some weird timer setting that kept it from cooling down the room during the day. Maybe someone should check the thermostat after every check out to ensure its not uncomfortable for the next guests, or even to make sure its not on an unknown timer that cant be disabled without reading directions. OK, thats my main complaint... would also like more group activities: movie night, candy bar bingo, patio parties, and we didnt even see yogi, boo-boo, or daisy during our stay.
Vet nice cabin with beautiful decor. We especially enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub! Lots of different activities that are great for a variety of ages. My family especially loved the fishing pond! Make sure you get the APP to know the schedule of activities because if you dont then you wont know as its not posted anywhere else in the park. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The place was clean, and the back staff (store and grounds) were friendly. However not a rise and shine campground. We were a late arrival. No gate code, no wrist bands. I said I could back in but we were put in quite literally almost furthest out spot that was more expensive. If youve ever stated a jellystone before, this one is definitely another campground that happens to be affiliated with Jellystone. Granted the season would probably mean we couldnt swim anyways, the grounds were definitely lacking. One of the bouncy pillows was destroyed, lots of livestock but not a whole lot to do. Bathroom facilities were absolutely covered in centipedes. Theyre also didnt seem to be a set hour for things like the store to open. The first morning me and several other late arrivals hiked to the front gate and somebody came to unlock all of the playground gates. The second morning was a lot of the same, the store had no posting hours, it opened Im assuming sometime around 9:00 because it was after we went up for breakfast but before we left at 9:20.Three stars is being generous especially for the price. Late pull in, wonderful day and a second night was over $200. There was one playground and lots of kids. However as badly the front desk needed some lessons and customer service, the back was very friendly. I know that I wasnt the only one to have a couple of issues as far as getting information, the other couple said that they felt like they were being an annoyance to the front gate and all they wanted was the wristbands and the typical Jellystone packet of information instead of leasing will sheet rules and the lot number that they got with late check in. They also did not receive a gate code. The front gate was annoyed that we want to dress fans because the other folks said we needed them and they felt it was off-season and we should have to wear them. All things said on the other hand I felt safe, the other campers were also clean and respectful, and while Im not sure that I would stay there again for the price if I was in town and needed to stay somewhere its probably the best option.
Great place to visit. Lots to do to keep the kids busy and help them sleep at night.
Great place for the whole family. 3 pools giant playgrounds fishing pond awesome showers and restrooms very clean you can bet the price for all the things
Such a great, friendly place for families to unwind and reconnect. Everyone was so friendly not one complaint! Thank you for a great stay!!
Javier and his staff cater the most delicious food ever
Stayed a couple of nights during a ice storm. Very nice!
Had an amazing time, it was our first time there and couldnt have had a better experience. Amazing staff, amazing activities, and loads of fun for the entire family. We are already planning our next trip out there for this summer!
Lots to do. For kids. Pools are great. People are friendly.
Has anyone rented the Grand Lodge before...Im looking for pricing info
Such a fun and friendly place I will be going back soon ️
This place is amazing has many great amenities and their cabins are nice and roomy and clean and has dishes with them all the creature comforts of your own home so love the sitting areas next to cabins 14 and 16 and they have nice porches
Now known as Jellystone Park of North Texas. Was better as Coyote Ranch Resort. Changed hands to a more known larger camping corporate company.
MY FAMILY AND I LOVED EVERYTHING OF IT AND WOULD RECOMMEND TO ALL.
This place is okay. Been here a few times and the kids seem to enjoy most of the amenities.
We stayed for one night at this wonderful RV park. The sites are large and the bathrooms and laundry and large and clean. There is so much to do there for kids and families and the sunset views are amazing. Can’t wait to visit again!
My cousins wedding was here. Beautiful place. We managed to get HUNDREDS of great photos!! They have a beautiful chapel and a second just a few steps away for food and drinks! Unfortunately the kitchen area was just a small area. The bar was incomplete with bare wiring visible and the electrical box was just hanging. Luckily I didnt need to use it due to the lack of space to serve hot food. There are no steamtables or heated storage for food. Only one small refrigerator and a half size deep freeze but for the small party we had, the place was not bad at all.
I was a little skeptical staying here. It was just outside of town and I thought it would be boring. Was I wrong? There is so much to do on site. So much that we didnt even get to do it all. From Mini Golf to a maze and 3 pools, this place has so much, and not crowded! Very peaceful at night. Stars are so bright! Planning already my next stay.
Was a little surprised at the high gates fees...till I got inside and saw all the updates! GREAT for a hot summer day ️!!!
Just started full-time living and I couldnt be happier with this place! Friendly people and welcoming ranch. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to full-time or even to just have a fun weekend.
We celebrated an Event with 80 people in te Lone Star Hall of the Ranch. It was a very good location for our event and the management is super friendly. They also provided very good food and scheduled a bartender for us. I can totally recommend the Resort for hosting events.
I had a pleasant experience. Real quaint.
The place os nice and relaxing, due to the fact you can go at your own pace at things. A bit pricey but lots a fun free stuff to also do. They also have a petting zoo of sorts with miniture ponies, goats, chickens, tortoise, goose and duck. The cabins are also nice and comfy, can fit up to possibly 6 people while having 5 beds.
We spent our honeymoon here, and now again here for our 6th Anniversary. Lots to do for couples and families. Cottages are nice and clean.
Was a great place to spend the weekend.
What a kewl place
Great facility, beautiful grounds, lots to do, multiple meeting rooms/halls for parties, weddings, etc. Many small cabins for rent, and tons of rv parking. Top notch catering services, and all of the staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it, will definitely be back.
This is a great place for families to create new memories together. Incredibly friendly staff.
A great place to relax or have fun with grandkids
We went for our anniversary. We had reserved a room. Which wasnt ready when we arrived. But can were upgraded to a small cabin. It was beautiful! Will definitely be going back!
Amazing! Definitely recommend for a family get away. It has everything any child could hope for in camping. Fishing, pools, bounce pads and a bounce house, mini ponies, mini golf. Came for a girl scout trip and the girls loved it. Tent camping, RV, or cabins whatever your little heart desires. Go glamping and treat yourself.
Great for reunions, weddings or just a family getaway.
Had our family reunion at this location. I gave it a 3 because I was expecting more of a true resort, and it felt more like a local hotel/park. The entrance fee was a little pricey, for individuals attending an event and not the park activities. However, overall it was fun and festive!
Kewl place to vacay.
Great accommodations!
Great place. Granddaughter had wonderful 6th birthday party.
We have our family reunion here every other year and it is perfect. Plenty to keep the kids busy while letting the adults relax in a peaceful setting. The petting zoo is a big plus.
We stayed here for a few days in cozy cabin #11. There where a few spiders inside but we got rid of them. On the bell decorations on the outside my younger sister got stung by a bee for touching the bottom bell. It was really fun.
Nice place, Im giving a 4 star because the space was sort of on the small side and not really room for a dance floor.
Son and daughter in law had a vow renewal here. Very nice accommodations but a bit small. A bit pricey for the RV spots. Lots of activities for the kids. Overall a nice place in the community.
I went to a wedding and reception the other day. The chapel was very nice during a sunset. The second building was the reception and was nicely set. Not certain of the catering company but the food was very good.
Its a great place.. Loved it
Its a beautiful location but if you want to have an event there it will be pretty pricey. They charge for seriously everything!!!! (table clothes, plates...)
I loved my stay there!
Very nice people on down to cooks and very relaxing they do everything to make sure their guests are comfortable and have fun! Coming back in Nov. to have my daughters birthday I CAN -NOT wait!
I went there for a school function. place was fun to be at. Just friday I went to a fish fry and that was the best fish Ive tasted since going to Bills in Oklahoma.
Family Reunion. Daughter and I stayed the night in a beautiful rustic cabin awesome fireplace! Turned on with the flip of a switch. Comfortable queen beds. My only complaint there was pillows. FLAT!Lovely bathroom had jacuzzi tub, sperate shower.Just Charming!
Good place to take your kids. Alot of activities for the kids to do. The camp grounds were small. Not alot of outdoor space.
Miss this place very much. Awesome atmosphere, we made many lifelong friends. Always something to do.
Amazing place!! Go check it out!!
Had my wedding here and these really no place for the Bride to get dressed so ended up having to get a cabin. Then had my granddaughters stay the night and on top of paying for Chapel and a cabin...had to pay more for my granddaughters . I was told because of the activities but who had time for that.. We were preparing for a wedding. I understand that some might take advantage of the area but they were only there to keep me company and have a place to get ready for the wedding.
Pricy but good value. Kids had a blast
I posted a review under the jelly stone national park one ha ha! Live it here, keep up the good work and constant adding to the resort!
Coyote Ranch is awesome the kids have a wonderful time theres a full day itinerary for them to have activities Christine Megan and Marco are wonderful employees Miss Donna is awesome we love love love Coyote Ranch you should check it out the whole staff is so friendly and helpful its amazing the cabins are cozy and very nice they have upscaled ones and they have lower scaled ones that are just cute as they can be RV spots are spacious and nice they have a very nice tent campground thats really good all around wonderful place to be
Love the Old West layout there.
Nice place.BUT wasnt told there no cable. Was very uniformed about the gate entrance. Dont know what happened since the last time we were there.
Really family friendly. Lots of activities for the children, of all ages. Expensive.
Certainly a wonderful place to get away and enjoy some unique activities. They have a fun maze, an escape room, some extremely well kempt pools, giant air pillows to bounce upon, and (most importantly) very friendly staff.I cant speak to the price of the place, however, as my time here was free of charge.
We had a great time it was like having the place to ourselves relaxing store was cheap not over charging
We had a great family reunion here. Hotel-style were clean and comfortable. Recommended
Love this place. Tranquil and very has a lot of stuff to do with your small children
Always good food. Friendly staff and clean establishment . Good place for kids to be kids and a lot for them to do. Lots of camping spots.
Great place to camp out or have a family reunion
I really enjoyed the holiday decorations.
The grounds were well kept and clean. The built in activities were not as promised and that was our biggest issue. We addressed it with the owner and she was very nice and tried to accommodate. The maintenance guy was great and fun but other staffs lack of responsibility not showing up to activities seemed to be our biggest issue. Our kids were disappointed on multiple occasions for not being able to do things. They really did do a lot to make sure we had a good time and even threw in extra activities for inconvenience that the kids wanted to do. Overall facility was nice.
Moving here and it seems like an incredible place! Very well kept and friendly staff
Had an awesome time
This is a great little place of you have kiddos. They have little ponies, goats, two swimming pools, a great general store, lots and lots of activities for the kids and family, pull through sites, a fishing pond, cabins, etc...I highly recommend this place for your travels. Staff is terrific and believe me there is lots to do. There is miniature golf, jumping pillows, laser tag, paint ball, wow.Have a good time and tell them I sent you.
The facilities are nice, but the owner is very rude and unpleasant. You will get the sheriffs called to come harass you if your outside roasting marshmellows after 10:00 on a Saturday. She even had the audacity to take a water hose and put our controlled fire pit out, while getting everyone around the fire wet. I’m pretty sure this was illegal on her part. Which violates a tenants right to quiet enjoyment which is a law.
Great grounds. Lots of activities. Everyone is so polite and helpful! We will be back for sure!
Great family RV park. Nice people and lots to do!
Wonderful facilities and staff!!
Everything and everyone was nice and helpful except the Friday night Fish Fry. Totally under prepared and had to wait over 20 minutes for fish, other items were out too such as fries, forks, corn, tartar sauce. Children loved the amenities. Fun weekend.
Its been over 5 yrs since I visited here. It is a nice place for parties, they have cabins, places for RVs to hook up. My niece had her wedding reception here.
Love this gated camp grounds. On sure storage units for a nice price. Activities for my 3 year old are fun and plentiful. Will be staying for a few months and couldnt be happier.
Clean park. Lots of kids activities. Pools are busy on weekends. The Friday catfish chicken dinner for our group was a bust. Poorly stocked buffet line, we waited 20 minutes for fish. Overall though a nice place to stay. Kids had fun.
Ive stayed here twice in the period of 3 years. Stayed in our rv. Such a great place for the family. They have made many updates and if we happen to be in Wichita falls again for work we will be staying there. So much to do here you wont be disappointed.
Friday night all you can eat catfish and chicken is awesome. Come out and enjoy! Large slabs of catfish cooked perfectly. Chicken is great. Desserts, corn on the cob, coleslaw, rolls etc...you wont leave disappointed and I believe it was only 12.99 a person but I may be off a dollar.
If you have kids you need to spend a weekend here. We love this place
Great, quiet place to stay when you want some relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of life. Family friendly, spacious cabins, and great service from staff. Mark was a great host at the animal farm (miniature goats, miniature ponies, and chickens) and there are free roaming bunnies around. Would definitely come back again!
The staff is friendly and professional. One young man talked to us while sweeping and cleaning around the building by the first pool. He was intelligent, helpful and seemed to enjoy his job. I never saw him take a break. I wish I could remember his name. We were there about a month ago.
Girl Scouts outing! Absolutely a fantastic place to take the family for a nice, quiet trip. It has EVERYTHING you need and is close enough to everything not provided on site which makes things convenient.
We only visited for couple hours but they had lots of rv in for the towns big event but it wasnt crowded at all. The people out looked relax and with 2 pools, splash pad,and mini golf and more it was plenty space. It was clean and well marked with cautions and direction.
Lots of fun things to do!
So fun, but the employees kinda suck.
Had a graduation party for my daughter graduating from college
We stayed in the RV park in our new motor home. It is a great place for families. The store and office folks were really great, very friendly and professional, and made us feel very welcome. They have a small cafe/restaurant on site and the pizza was a welcome thing. The restrooms/showers are immaculate. It is the first gated facility Ive ever stayed at. The cabins looked like they would be very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.
Had birthday party for kids in a cabin. Great for the kids to spend their energy. Great for parents not to have to clean up.
The catch and release pond was SUPER fun!
This place is quite and very clean. The staff is great. My wife and I rented one of their cabins. It was nice the only downside is the price. For 135.00 a night you would at least expect more than 15 channels and the WiFi was all but non existence. If the price would drop by 40.00 it would be well worth the trip.
Beds were uncomfortable. The activities were fun though.
Great place for the whole family! Food could be better. Facilities are great especially the bathrooms with showers. Employees are energetic and engaging! Not lacking in activities.
Lots of things for kids to do. They should probably put up a basketball goal.
