So much fun! Sound of music is one of my all time favorite movies and I lived ever minute of this performance! My 3 young kids sat through almost the whole production (4yr old crashed about 5-10 min before it ended) they enjoyed it so much! We are all still singing my favorite things. I have been to community theaters and Broadways before and was truly blown away by the talent and how well done this production was! Definitely above and beyond what I expected! Bravo, to all of you on a job well done! I want to go back when I go visit Wichita falls again! If you are in the area, just go!!
Not a bad seat in the house. Seen The West Side Story which featured my son Jace Collins. They put on a wonderful show! Cant wait too see the next one.
My wife and I had a fantastic time tonight. The atmosphere was wonderful and the production was amazing. From the ticket buying experience, to the ushers helpful and cheerful attitude, the clean theater, the awesome show, I cant say enough. I was shocked at the experience. Thanks for the WOW factor! We will definitely be back.
Such a quaint theatre with lots of historic value. The musical we saw was top notch and the cast was fantastic! Check this place out if youre in the Falls! They always seem to have some activity going on!
Outstanding performance by AMAZING actors and actresses!! I went for my first time the other night to see The Little Mermaid show. I was VERY impressed!! Im from Houston and have seen some really good theatrical performances, and for a small town (Wichita Falls), I was very impressed!! I wish I had gone sooner. Will definitely go back!
I had my culinary arts graduation ceremony held here three years back. Beautiful and historic place. Would really love to attend more events there.
We went to see the Sound of Music. It was wonderful. A very talented cast certificate and crew. We will definitely be going back to see future shows
We have been to several productions at this theater and have loved every one of them! Such talent! The only complaint we had from our last experience was the staff who came in late and sat in the back but talked and were on their phones. We were closer to the back this time than we normally have been, but paid as much as the ones up close so we deserved the same respect as the rest of the theatre guests. We still enjoyed the show and will, for sure, be back again
Opening night of The Little Mermaid was phenomenal! This cast is so talented and they really gave the audience what they came for, a great time! The cast also did a great time interacting with the kids after the show! Great directing, talented folks, and an awesome environment. You’ve got to go see this show! You’ll laugh your blues away!

You never really forget your time at the Wichita Theatre, but not in a good way. Please take the time to look into their nonprofit status. You’ll be amazed at what you find. Funny it’s in the description of all of your materials. I’m not 15 years old anymore, so I probably won’t get a response from the owner. It seems to be the trend of management to look down on youth instead of inspire them. Pity.
Fine is about all I can say.For a volunteer community theatre its productions are of an acceptable expected quality. However it often seems that they try to operate or fill the role of a professional theater, which they fail to do. Wichita Falls still needs true professional theatre or road house. However if you are willing to look past some things Wichita Theatre just dosent have the ability to do it can be a fun night out with the family (despite the ticket prices).The staff have been some of the kindest people I have met and some of the rudest. I have seen some truly generous and absolutely appalling behavior. So you never can be sure what you are going to get on any given night.
A very nice place for the family. Very kid-friendly. I know a lot of people/have a lot of friends that are in productions at the Wichita Theatre. A nice place and trust me youre getting your moneys worth. In my opinion one of the best theatres in Texas.
The fact that a theatre would be so unprofessional and personal in response to a honest review left by a young former cast member is disgusting. It takes away from those who volunteer and perform within the theatre who lead with an authentic and mature attitude and work hard within the theatre community for the love of the art. A change of leadership and attitude is long overdue. If you can’t build upon criticism then you have no place in the arts, and especially not a place high up within the theatre.
If you get a chance to attend an Improv Murder Mystery in the Hard Luck Diner series showing at Wichita Theatres Stage 2 - ROUND UP FRIENDS, GET YOUR TICKETS, AND GO! We had the privilege of going to the private preview of Murder at the Hyde Park Cafe. It was WONDERFUL!!! The set up, the food, the music, the intertwining of actors and audience made for a fantastic, intriguing, fun-filled evening!!!
My wife and I travelled all the way from Arizona to be here for the opening weekend of “The Little Mermaid,” only to learn that the entire weekend had been cancelled due to a faulty air conditioning system. Needless to say, we are extremely disappointed! We feel sure that the current condition was due to some poor management decisions, and that the system could have been repaired in a timely manner, should the proper people have decided to do so. Whatever happened to the mantra that “the show must go on?” This is a “black eye” for the reputation of the theater, and one that will not soon be forgotten.
I have only been to two musical at Wichita Theatre Hairspray, Beauty and Beast. That is going to change. They are full of talented performers. I think this is a musical that could go on the road. I was excited to go, and they deserve an Emmy Award. I highly suggest you go!!! Also, you can purchase a adorable gown like Belle.

We saw a Tale of Two Cities for our first play and we were impressed by how professional of a show we received. The vocals were beautiful and the acting was on point. We will definitely be attending more plays here!

This is a small city community theater. The production and cast was far above expectations. There is real talent in Wichita Falls.

Took the family to see Tarzan last week and thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at the Wichita Theater. Friendly staff members helped us find our seats and served delicious popcorn at the concession stand. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. Will visit again.
We loved it! We saw The Little Mermaid and my 3 and 5 year old girls LOVED it. They were captivated for the entire show. I loved it as well, Flounder was hilarious and so was the chef. The whole cast was great! I am kicking myself for not taking them to past productions. It is well worth the money and we wont miss another one! Snacks and drinks arent overpriced and we loved being able to meet and greet the cast afterwards. We will be back!
Only have got to visit once but it was memorable. Great job to those working there.

We really enjoyed Tarzan at the Wichita Theater. Wonderful seats, clean restrooms, great price for the tickets. Loved that the cast was available after to the show for a quick meet and greet, wonderful experience for the whole family.
Ive attending other plays and musicals I Wichita Falls but my first time to attend Wichita Theater and I enjoyed the production and the facility was very nice.

Technically, this is the review for Stage 2, their space right across the street.I had the chance to see Mystiq, a magic and mentalism dinner theater performance. The food was terrific, quickly served and was hot and fresh, and the Cornish game hen was perfectly complemented by the potatoes and green beans sides.Dessert was a cheesecake mousse that was exactly the right amount of sweet, and that the perfect size. The salad before the main course was an assortment of greens, all incredibly fresh and varied, and with a great blend of flavors.The show itself was terrific. The magic was impressive, well-performed, and the audience had a great time. It was well presented, with friendly and personable performers which made a big difference.The performers we saw were Ron Wilson and AJ Quevy, and the blend of magic and mentalism was very, very entertaining. I recommend Mystiq at Stage 2 for anyone who is looking for a different kind of date night or evening out. for me, it was well worth the drive from Dallas, and I am looking forward to seeing the show again.

We have been to a couple of other theaters and they have all fallen short I am not trying to be mean about it but if u want to be a theater be a theater and Im very happy to say wichita theater is very much a theater in all aspects! Me and my wife went to Grease 2 years ago and for some reason life got in the way and we finally went again yesterday to Willy Wonka and dang Im so glad we did cause this year we are going to be seeing a lot off 44 cause now this year we are taking our little troops with us for quit a few shows!! Thank u wichita theater for being here!!! Oh and IM SO FREAKING JAKED TO SEE THE CHRISTMAS STORY!!!! Yeahhh man favorite movie watching sense 1984!!!
