Super impressed with this course. Greens are very receptive, tee boxes and fairways in good shape, and the layout is interesting. The front 9 and back 9 also felt like 2 different courses so its challenging. Facilities are clean. Range balls are always new and unlimited. Two putting greens, one flat, one undulating. And a short game area that is great. Ive had dinner there twice, and Ive enjoyed the food at the restaurant. Service is always polite and professional . Also, best chips and salsa Ive ever had. The snack shop has great hot dogs and cool drinks. They allow daily play on Mondays but for the most part it is a private club. Every member Ive met truly loves the club, and I can understand why.

My husband’s golf club ... I’m there only occasionally. It’s beautiful and my husband says the course is challenging. He enjoys playing there and has made some good friends.ogStaff are very nice ... especially the dining room and bar servers!

Great course. Fun to play. Almost every hole with hazards left and/or right side. Greens fast.

Course was in great shape! I only 3-putted on one hole (my worst) which cause me to double-bogey.

Lunch was delicious n the service was wonderful...love all the flowers too

Very nice course, in great shape, good range and practice area. Not particularly long, but can be tight in spots, a creek runs along 12 holes. Greens are fast and true.

Luxurious, private large room about funeral Victor Ray Chavez with whole family, relatives, friends lots for good foods dinners, beverages pay Services, friendly Services, nice rounds tables w/ 8 chairs. Comfort wheelchair, neat restrooms, near Golfing area. New Building

Such a hard course excellent excellent condition. but Fairways its narrow there is a lot going on on the way to Green theres a creek theres a trees there was hazard and small upslope very fast tiny greens everybody played so bad but it was a very very fun course. I would love to go back and challenge one more time

The greens were a bit chewed up but still offered an entertaining playing experience. First time players should play conversative off the tee as ball placement is key to playing this course well.

No private club feel...just a golf course with an average conditions.

First time. Staff professional and courteous. Course kicked our behinds and we enjoyed every minute of it. 65 and sunny Doesnt hurt the experience. Have the chance, play it.

Played Candlewood Country Club for the first time at the San Gabriel Police Officers Association golf tournament. Course was soggy but in great shape. Greens were punched but healing well. Banquet room was kept up. Staff was extremely friendly. Look forward to playing there again.

I went to a wedding there, it is a very beautiful and peaceful place to have a wedding. The reception hall was very beautiful and wide. Had a great time there.

Great golf course, very challenging, shot makers course. The people are incredible and friendly.

How can you run a private country club and not afford to have netting that protects the cars on Telegraph. I just had a ball hit my windshield and almost go through. Small bits of glass was everywhere and I almost went number 2. I went in and spoke to the General manager who told me that the responsible party was the guest that shot the ball and not the countryclub. Of course they asked the members playing and they denied it. What kind of an establishment would just allow this to happen?

I think its taking a lot of space in a lot of resources make a park into it

Im personally not much of a golfer a friend invited me went for the afternoon had a good time very nice Clubhouse good place to catch lunch I would recommend if I was a golfer staff is very friendly also good secure parking

Been a member here for about a year and cant recommend it enough. The course is always in flawless condition (the greens are fast!) but the best part of all is the lack of crowds. You almost never need to make a tee time and the biggest selling point for me is that I can count on playing a 3.5 - 4 hour round every time I come out and if I am playing by myself it takes me just over 3 hours.I would recommend this club to anyone. I was surprised how affordable it was. I pay $425/month and get to play unlimited rounds of golf. I was definitely spending more than that to play my local muni courses and they dont even come close to comparing to candlewood.If you are interested in joining a private club do yourself a favor and look into candlewood.
