Great service!! Ben and his crew always helpful, the best part they never judge your experience or undermine you knowledge. One thing I can really say is that if your not ready, and or experience enough, Ben wont sell it to you. He would rather you help you in establishing the correct parameters, and have you come back. But at the end of the day I can guarantee your not walking out empty handed either with a nice coral or knowledge.

Ben and his staff run a tight ship. His store is always immaculate, tanks spotless and the corals are absolutely amazing. He definitely has some of the nicest, rarest, colorful corals period. Plan on spending sometime here because there is so much to look at and appreciate.

One of the rare times I felt compelled to write a review.Ive purchased from cali kids several times. Like clockwork, my corals are delivered in perfect shape, look even better than they do in the pictures, and add a tremendous amount of color to my tank.There is not a better company, with as stellar rarity, uniqueness, and reliability as there is cali kids corals in this trade.

Watched this site for months before I made an initial purchase. I won a few items off auction website the other night and very pleased. Corals were as described, well packaged, quick shipment and smooth transaction. I will make additional purchases from CK in the future.

Last Friday my brother told me about the auctions i ended purchasing a nice piece picked it up the following day. What an amazing place! Upon a arriving all were extremely inviting and made me feel very welcomed. There display tanks are very well maintained and very clean. The corals are very beautiful and well cared for. The employees including the owner were very helpful. I asked many many questions and they were always happy to answer them. I didn’t get they feeling like they wanted me to stop talking. Overall a wonderful place to get corals! Definitely will be returning.

Had a great experience ordering from Cali kid! they have an awesome selection of great looking corals, the communication when ordering is perfect! You get the soonest date possible for shipping. You get emails on every thing you need to know and the packaging did not lack anything. My corals came in cups and double bagged. I definitely recommend their service if you want to adopt some coral. Buyer beware! Calikid was performing a live sale on their website, I attempted to purchase a mushroom for the price of $10.00 only to find out that my credit card was charged for $438.00. I immediately contacted them the live forum, to which I was told and mocked “ we’re not that generous” I immediately contacted PayPal to report the fraudulent charge, and continued trying to get proper communication through Calikid. After several email attempts, I was able to prove that the charge should have only been $10.00 but after receiving such horrible customer service and treatment I requested a full refund. I was initially told that they would agree to refund me but several days later the payment has cleared and no refund has been issued. Not only was I conned into spending $438.00 that was not authorized, But even after direct contact with the owner Ben Shapiro and his word that I would receive a full refund, he still refuses to authorize it. Buyer Beware!After I posted this review and contacted the BBB as well as PayPal, Ben finally issued a refund.To anyone who doesn’t believe feel free to consult the live sale on the forum and the time stamps. Fraudulent company !!!! Extremely sketchy! Buyers Beware! was only refunded because off BBB!

Absolutely Love this place and customer service is way cool...rather your buying corals or not... the knowledge that the owner Ben willing shares is worth its weight in Gold!!! If in the area and just stop in and say hello.. before you know it a hour has passed and you made a new friend!!!

STOP BY THIS SHOP! If you’re looking for higher end coral, then this is the spot!! Ben is a great shop owner, took the time to go over some options and provided a wealth of knowledge to take in. this isn’t the best place for a beginner but if you want to take the next step from the basics check this place out!! Smallest store ever, i called first before coming, the guy that answered said they close at 7pm, I got there at 630pm they closed, i drove all the way from orange county, nothing to see, store is basically empty, like a cover store for something else ??? Hmmmm...???? What’s really going on??? LAME !!!!Wouldn’t even give it 1 star ️ if i had that option, negative
