Love our local park and its close to us. Something for everyone there and the kids playground is big

Great public park just a stones throw from Whitman center. Plenty of green space with a nice sloping hill down to a mostly sunny field. There is also plenty of shaded areas around the park as well as atop The aforementioned hill. A small pond with a center fountain is well stocked with frogs, tadpoles, and crawfish. Grab a net for the kids on the way and they will be entertained for the duration. If the thrill of marine life wears off there is a good sized playground a quick walk down one of the parks gravel pathways. Benches are abundent as well as a few picnic tables. Pack a lunch and you will have a nice afternoon with the kids, or take a break from your hectic day if youre in the area.

Nice peaceful place to walk.

Great park for the kids or even just to go for a walk. It has everything EVEN A POOL you have to pay but its cheap its mainly for the maintenance of the pool on top of that their doing a service by supplying young adults (mainly high school kids) with jobs. Whitman is a beautiful town sort of like a hidden jewel so to speak. Even if you dont live there and maybe you live on the North Shore pay the place a visit I promise you wont be disappointed. Its quiet, peaceful, and serene just a lovely town all together my kids love it as well as my fiance and our family. Its one of those towns where you actually see the kids out having fun unlike a lot of towns in Mass these days where you no longer see that. It also has great restaurants to eat at and is close to a lot of other towns that have fun things to do either by yourself or with your family.

Great hills to take the youngest sledding. The pool is closed of course, but fun in summer. The playground is fun even in winter.

Calming and soothing you can sit by this water side there are picnic tables or benches and just relax and watch the ducks go by and watch people fishing or just enjoying walking around the park

Beautifu,l quiet park with little pond and waterfall. Great kids playground. Nice basketball court, community pool in season . Dn street a block next to cemetery is a lg pond with lots of ducks, people fishing. A level, quiet alki g paved trail to adjaye, bike. Very relaxing.

I appreciate all the hard work that the town work is put into the park for the public its always clean and neat looking Im enjoying the beautiful new trees

Very well maintained park, usually trash free and not very crowded. Great for families and children with a basket ball court, a couple baseball fields, children’s playground, a water pool, open area near a scenic pond and gazebo and all to be found near a police station which keeps the park free from undesired individuals. I planned my daughters birthday party there and it made for some great memories and pictures.

I just move to Whitman this will be my first summer I walk the park daily I sit out in the park weather permitting I like the fountain watching the people its quiet and peaceful

Very nice park, family friendly! This park has it all, baseball, basketball, play ground, no smoking, gazebo, and memorials. Its nice and big great for family activities and is right next to the police station!

Best park and public pool around!

While my grandchildren played on the playground, I filled a trashbag with refuse. Why cant people learn to clean up after themselves and their families?

From the lifeguards to the administration they are very nice. The pool is well taken care off. The place has been upscaled and it looks beautiful. It also never gets crowded!

Unpaved sidewalks, older playground equipment, toddler set is difficult to get onto for smaller kids.
