John Bishop Park

Has been updated in last few years. Was well maintained and clean. My little dog enjoyed our walk very much. We will go back and I will support the park in the future when I am able.

Excellent play area for kids. Fun mixed with interactive learning.Equipment is very kid friendly. The recycled tire foundation is not only softer than the ground, but environmentally friendly as well

Very lovely place with nice trees. The grass could have been cut but it wasnt too bad. Nice place to walk around.

I love coming here to kids love the play We also I can walk and sit in the shade under need to sell those you can have barbecued and cookouts and birthday party also so that added you can watch the animals pure natureThey have done a lot to change John Bishop Park Dave tore down the play area and added new theyve added up the Earth with water called Splash Park since Ive added anything lost

This park is for families it is and well taken care of the football and baseball games are all for families and the park has new play equipment take your kids there and enjoy

It was decent, it was a bit sad that the basketball hoops arent up again would have been nice to shoot some hoops but it has three parks so if your new there and have a kiddo then its a nice place to take them. FYI Its not sanitized there is a sign.

Best park in Whitehall. One side has the ball diamonds and the kiddie park is in the middle. Water park in summer, but you have to have a pass. Lots of activities in the summer at the band shelter too. #Pokemon friendly, 4 gyms and tons of stops

Watching a little league football game here tonight. If you get here early you can watch the entire game from the car. Love the changes they have done out here.

Even before the redo, I frequently brought my son to this park. The updates to the playground are fantastic and great for kids of all ages! The basketball courts look great as well...I am very impressed! The addition of the splash pad was nice for little ones and Music in the Park on Sundays is nice for anyone. Not to mention all the events and camps throughout the summer offered for residents and non-residents.

This place is so fun and family oriented. My daughter suggested a 4 star bc the monkey bars move at a decline angle lol but, shes the one playing. Nice room if you have a picnic with family. The spider net helps you climb high and do flips!! The swings are the best even if can swing comfortably. Clean park with view of water park and basketball court. Very comfortable place for your children

Love thisnpark I use to run a bunch of fitness club events out of it. :) just wish the restroom was open ever.Other then that its a great place to take kids or walk pets or really most things. Cops roll through a lot though.

Great little park, close to home! The kids love playing here...the equipment is newer and clean with lots of parking. For the Summer, theres a Splash Pad as well for the kiddos to cool off.

Beautiful park. Nice music. Very nice free hot dogs and water. Biting flies are very aggressive this year. They wont leave you alone. We were forced to listen to the music from our car.

My two year old son absolutely loves this park! The play area can be a little advanced depending on the child but it’s great for climbing which he loves to do!

Decent park. I mainly like to find parks that I can walk and run my dog at and I found that with the lack of trails at this park, it was difficult to run and walk my dog. We try to go a minimum 1 mile perday and the trails offered at this park are less than 1 mile. I would like to see more trails at this park as it has the potential for them.

Played here 57 yrs ago, both daughters played softball here, now granddaughter cheerleading here. Great memories, still well taken care of. Need bigger stands for little league football only knock.

Its a nice place

This was our first visit as non-residents and the fee was reasonable for the Splash pad. $3per child. The attendant was friendly! However, too small for adults, teens and children running around. A teen knocked down my 5yr old, who scuffed her knee on the concrete pad.In the field east of us were teens where a fight broke out and the police were called to irradiate that situation. Overall, my 3 girls had a nice time. There were lots of tables, seating and 2 public restrooms.

I loved playing basketball there! The environment is so clean and friendly! I had a blast!

Park and playgrounds are always messy

This place was a great place when i was growing up and still is to this day. The have a splash park, basket ball hoop, football field and baseball dimaonds. All recently updated.

Its a fun and safe place to play with your kids.

Right on the bike trail with a scenic creek side and quiet spots to enjoy.

A nice city park with outdoor ball fields and a new playground. For how nice it is, it is curiously lacking in any public grills, though it does have a shelter! So picnicking shouldnt be listed as an amenity. Its next to the ball fields though.

I love the colors and how safe the playground is.

What a renovation! Its been a year since weve visited. Summer of 2017, the street and surrounding area were under construction. It looks amazing now! The softball park is excellent with plenty of green space and trees for shade. And the playground has been replaced with an upgraded model. Very nice! Great place to relax and see a game or check out Whitehalls Music in the Park.

This is a great city park with a lot a wonderful amenities for the community. I love seeing all the local kids playing organized ball.

Excellent park with lots to do.

Take kids all the time. Its nice because there are multiple playgrounds, a basketball court, and nice swing set. Theres plenty of space so even when theres lots of people it doesnt feel crowded. Its safe and I never have any issues.

Nice park during the day, when kids are in school. Has a tendency to get unruly at other times. Just be careful.
