Always look forward to playing golf at this much improved course. Staff is always on top of things and willing to go out of their way to help you enjoy your round. I played today in under 4 hours. Maple Moor is ready to become my favorite county course

I played this course for the very first time and I felt like I’ve played this course forever—and it was only made possible by the extraordinary service of Tom and his crew!I couldn’t tell you how much it means and how important it is for a newbie in a new course to be treated as a regular! Top marks for the service!Same goes for the course, as it was kept in amazing shape for a late autumn/early winter round in December! The pro shop is well stocked, and the service, again, is superb, to say the least! As a golfer who plays nearly two-to-three times a week in and around NYC, I made a commitment to go to Westchester, a 40-minute drive from NYC and didn’t expect much, but I’m completely sold on the overall experience.A minor wrinkle would be the lack of snack amenities; however, there is a fine restaurant above the pro shop, but trivial things like a bottle of water, or snack, was hard to come by. Had I known earlier, I would’ve bought my own stash—perhaps maybe in the peak seasons, they do, but I didn’t ask; I will update on this next time I visit. The pace of place was amazing, so water/snacks was not even a concern. The restrooms were well kept, and the free parking was also a great sell!I wouldn’t mind trekking 40-minutes out of the city to play this course again. Highly recommend this course! Cheers for making my day! I’m sure they will make yours!

I golf here often. Location is great for me and recent renovations are good for course. Challenging enough without too many blind holes. Fan of the course and pro shop crew!

The whole course is very well maintained. Nice place for dinner, great pizza after 18holes and better bloodymarys.

I like the Maple Moor golf course for a few reasons. Tee times are often available, and affordable. The staff and starter are super-nice and flexible. Fairways are large, good for beginners and intermediate golfers. Renovations are currently underway in multiple areas in July/August 2019 affecting a few fairways. Middle of the golf season is disappointing but it appears some flooding damaged certain areas and they are aggressively fixing drainage issues. Patio at the bar and grill is popular.

For a daily golfer and the multiple times I play at Maplemoor during week. This course is quite diverse. Great atmosphere, great greens best I’ve seen. You should be proud of your staff they do a great job. Friendly and nice. I look forward to playing here all the time.

Could use a capital improvement. Tough course, good layout but greens were lumpy and bumpy and fairway was patchy

Its definitely more challenging than the other public courses around. The main issue is its missing too many yardage markers, is pretty muddy, and is just too hard in some spots.Like really you have a par 3 thats 200ish yards from the middle tees thats uphill AND protected by bunkers in front??? Come on. Theres just weird things like that all over.Gotta give props that its got nice views. The starters try a bit too hard. Snack guy couldve been more pleasant/helpful. Just like every public course, everyone plays too slow.Maybe under different circumstances I wouldve liked it better.

Extremely well manicured, well cared for course. The Westchester County courses are always a treat to play on. The staff was personable, it was a great day, and the practice areas were solid. No driving range for those looking to totally warm up, so keep that in mind!

Wouldn’t recommend paying $55 to play this course. It is “under construction” but no progress has been made whatsoever. It seems as if they started renovations and decided to pull the project not even half way through.Dead grass everywhere, piles of dirt, giant holes in the ground, fencing, construction equipment all over the place.Apparently some of the fairways were newly installed but the grass was already dead. Fairways were like roughs and the greens were like fairways.Holes are dangerously close to each other; almost got hit multiple times by other people’s shots. People on other holes walking in the middle of your fairway picking up your ball; this and a 5+ hour round is what you can expect playing at Maple Moor. There are other courses in the area that are in much better condition, some that are even cheaper than what you will pay here. $55 is not a bad rate by any means, but still not worth the quality you get from this course.Hopefully this place can get everything finished within the next couple of years, because it has potential to be a decent course. But at this time, don’t waste your time or money here.

I have always liked Maple Moor, and was happy to hear there would be a multi-million dollar investment made to the course. I am concerned that they have opened the course too soon. It is still a work in progress. Some of the new sod is already brown with the edges rolling up from the heat and a lack of proper watering. I look forward to playing the course when the project is complete.

But for the fact that there were flags on the green and holes to putt to, this is not worthy of being called a golf course right now. The conditions are beyond bad - make sure to avoid the backhoe on the back nine. The layout is decent and this should be a good course, but the maintenance is truly lacking. Spend your money elsewhere.

How are they open and are they proud of the golf experience afforded customers? Played there today for the first time this year after they reopened after renovations. Was expecting a top notch course. Should have guessed by the empty lot and the slight discount due to course conditions. The greens and T boxes were OK. The course itself is in terrible shape with gigantic bare spots, immature sod and missing yardage markers. Walked off after 9 at 4pm because it wasnt worth playing the back 9 and getting stuck in traffic. Im looking forward to playing there in 2020 when its ready.

First time we were there and the course is very, very good. Proshop people are very nice. The course is great for most skill levels. Tee boxes need leveling. Fairways are very nice. Greens are in excellent condition. Only drawback is the food and selection at the halfway house. Will definitely be back soon.

I was surprised I was able to get a Sunday tee time 2 days before. When I arrived the relatively empty parking lot should set off the alarms in my head to run for the hills but I gave it a shot. The staff was great and helpful and check in was quick. The course on the other hand was utterly horrible considering it was just renovated. There were fairways that were like an offroad trail in the baja and it looked like it as well. There was no comparison to the other county courses. I was very dissatisfied and felt ripped off considering I payed 100 dollars for my son and i to play a round of golf. The course conditions should warrant a substantial discount upwards of 50 percent to its park pass holders. Even the mosholu is better than this place and thats a 9 hole nyc course. Oh well maybe it will be better next year but I doubt Ill come back. Sprain lake course here I come.

Course is great shape the the landscapers do a great job. Bobby and his crew are on top of everything and prices on merchandise very competitive.May I suggest a shoe brush at the walkway ending the 18th hole, some of us oldtimers are tired and would appreciate not having to walk down to the club house. Also while we are at it would be nice to have a spot there a to hose of walk cart.
