Matoska Park

A very nice and beautiful trail to do some walking. The path follows part of White bear lake shoreline. Very picturesque and the neighborhood has some nice houses to gawk at. Facilities like restrooms are clean (not out houses).

Lots of people out using and enjoying the park. It was beautiful weather and day! You had to wait in line for a bit to use boat lunch. But thats to be excepted.

A very well put together & well budgeted park. About the only complaint one could make is on the limited parking spaces available. But, everything else here is enjoyabled

This is for the boat launch. It really is a nice launch. Reason I didnt rate it higher is because it is a PAY launch but they dont enforce that. At least 1/3 of the people there dont have permits and nobody is out there ticketing them. This is on a Saturday BTW not some odd off time on a weekday. Kind of defeats the purpose of the permit if there isnt any enforcement.

Matoska Park is a beautiful Park in White Bear Lake. Theres a lakewalk, theres a private boat launch by Manitou island, theres a public boat launch at White Bear lake and a beautiful beach in the area as well.

This is a great place to hang out with dogs or children. Wonderful place to just have a picnic and sit by the water.

Love this park so scenic, the road you get to it from, Lake Avenue, is a one way road so you have to come in north of the park, I usually take 7th. Then follow lake ace to the entrance. It has a nice bathroom, boat launch (think there is a membership required for that). Park features picnic tables, benches, a gazebo, access to a dog park and a walking/biking trail along the lake.

Matoska park is a very nice peaceful place to go relax and just enjoy the day you can also launch a boat there and go out on the lake or maybe just stand off to the side and fish whatever you decide to do its a very wonderful part its very nice neighborhood beautiful

This is a nice place with boat trailer parking, but people consistently park cars were boat trailers should go and it turns into quite a zoo during the day.

Great place to cool off

Nice cooler sunny day by WBL, great colors in the sunshine. The Lake level is very good now after all the the summer rains.

Highly recommended for tourists. You can see the whole lake frozen. We went during first week of March . The lake itself is majestic.

I love Matoska Park. I take my dog there in the summer to swim at the White Bear Dog Beach. We are able to swim together. The only down side is the water is high right now so not very much beach. It works best if you get in the water with your dog.

A beautiful place to clear your head or just get away with your loved ones

Great path for walking along the lake and there are two playgrounds for kids to enjoy near the beach areas. Its also fairly good for the Augmented Reality game crowd -- Pokemon Go, Ingress, Wizards United, etc. -- as there are a number of hotspots along the way from one end to the other. Whatever youre after, it makes for a nice time.

Private location for a wedding ceremony by the historic gazebo. Its quiet, many trees, and typically has a nice breeze off the lake.

Remember to not talk too loud in the public space, the rich folk in the nearby houses will call the police. Otherwise, the park is quite nice.

White Bear Lake is a nice area, quiet and safe.

Lots of dock space. Weeds are all around tho. So fish top water or bobbers. Great walking path between parks. Nice area.

Very nice, open park at the heart of White Bear Lake. The park is located on Lake Avenue just a few blocks from the downtown restaurant and shopping district. There is boat access to the lake and ample parking. The park is very spacious with shade trees, picnic tables and a nice gazebo. There are public restrooms available but no playground. If you are looking for a spot with a playground, then Id recommend the Ramsey County Beach further up the lake (accessed from Hwy 96, north of town). The Ramsey County Beach also has ample parking, boat access to the lake and public restrooms.

So great to have a dog friendly beach to cool off in the summer! Would be nice if it had beach sand instead of dirt. Not very differently abled (not handicapped or disabled) friendly

Boat launch is exceptional. Built to allow 3 boats to launch and take out at one time. Need to purchase a season pass. Beautiful landscaping and flowers.

Nice park but not good for fishing. Would be nice if they could clean up some of the weeds so every cast isnt just weeds.

I like the walking/biking path along White Bear Lake. For a park, it has nice bathrooms, including water fountains. Basically, the path and boat launch are the main attraction, although there is ample open yard for other activities.

Nice dog beach. The water is clear and the bottom sandy but you have to walk out across some mud since the lake has receded.

Very beautiful laid back place where you can relax in the sun and let your dog run free.

This is a lovely park with a great sense of history. I like to imagine that the legend of White Bear Lake took place here.

Its a great place to enjoy a picnic with your friends and family, and afterwards downtown White Bear is only a short walk away!

It was dirtier than the regular beach...so my dog found lots if trash to chew on. Its shallow so a great place to introduce a puppy to swimming.
