Absolutely awesome Wheeling local art, shows, culture venue!!!

Everyone is so nice, and very high production for such a small budgets

I love towngate theatre. I do improv, musical, and acting camp there. I have also seen a couple plays there and they are awesome!

Great little theater! Came for dinner and a movie to see The Birds. Great screening quality. I was very surprised. The seats are a bit uncomfortable but its understandable. However, be forewarned if you are a bit wider in the hips area.. its going to be a tight squeeze and uncomfortable for the movie.. I saw several people who seemed very uncomfortable. Might be a great idea to remove the arm rest from some of the end chairs to help accommodate some bigger guests.(if possible) Just an idea. thanks for a wonderful date night with my daughter!!

We made our first trip here to see our friends band. Its a great place for live music. The acoustics were amazing.

Convert the churches! Local community theater does a great job in this space.

I would love to see another play there. Time well spent

Saw an old classic movie. Definitely will go again. Movie was free but we purchased the dinner buffet which was excellent and included delicious popcorn for the movie.

Loved it! Was there for an improv bit the staff was super nice.

August: Osage County was one of the best plays Ive ever seen at Towngate. Dynamic, complex, dysfunctional with a mix of humor. Highly recommended. Not appropriate for children.

This Oglebay Institute theatre does a wonderful job with local theatrical productions and more. If you have an opportunity to attend a production here it is HIGHLY recommended.Get your tickets early though, it is a small venue and they can sell out.

Watched a documentary here and it was a really good experience.

Miss the weekend movies that played here and not at the Cineplex .
