Great course! Awesome staff, very friendly. Rate of play was slower than expected and we couldnt make it through 18 with a 3:40pm tee time. Not sure when twilight rates start but its not usually that early. FYI to those trying to play a full round.
Played 18 holes on August 22, 2020. The course is in great shape, which is to be expected for the price point. What truly stood out was the uniformly good nature, helpfulness and courteousness of the entire staff from the pro shop, to the starters, the marshalls and folks providing the food and beverage service. What a great staff. Well done!
Beautiful course. Fairways are in excellent shape. Woodside greens are incredibly fast. Conversely, Hillside course they aerated greens so everything slowed down. Challenging course but a fair course.
Beautiful course in great shape. Each hole is more scenic than the next. Greens were in great shape and putted very true. They looked faster than they were so came up short a lot on the first few holes. Played with my sons on Fathers day and it was not busy at all. Came in from MN to this course based on ratings. Highly recommend.
Great management! They found a way to accommodate our foursome amidst the club championship after we accidentally booked for another day. It was very much appreciated!

We had a wedding shower brunch here and it could not have been better. The room was a perfect size for 40 ladies. There was a beautiful view of a pond and the golf course. The food was excellent. The omelet station was well run with many tasty options. The mimosa station had several choices. The staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. Highly recommend this for any occasion.

Recently completed major remodeling and transformation of the gardens. Beautiful summer flowers and perennials plants. Also the military museum is a must see, now with VR and other tech. The tanks have been repainted like new again. Be amazed by the grandiose giant oak trees spread among the grand gardens.

The course is great but the starter and rangers hassled us the entire round to play faster. The group behind was with us, nobody after us was stressed about it but ever 3 holes we got hassled. Play somewhere else.
Very fun golf course! I played the Hillside and Woodside. Both 9 were very fun! Woodside was much more challenging though, depending on your handicap I would maybe consider playing the white tees (Im about a 8-10 handicap). The course was in amazing shape. Beautiful grounds and nice clubhouse

Must play golf course! They got 36 holes, Regretful, I only played 18 today! Each hole from each shoot you need to think where you should land the ball. Very fun to play

500 acres of manicured lawns and buildings. The Cantigny is dedicated to the valient history of the Big Red 1. This Army Division played a pivotal role in many of Americas conflicts. Definitely see the museum and its 3D life-size exhibits. Well worth the time to visit and walk around the grounds of the tank park.
Love the new area by the tanks & museum - Especially the new restrooms. The playground was great. Cant wait for all the construction to be finished.
Cantigny is a great a place from the amazing flower gardens, museums and historical residence. We visit this place at least two times a year a couple hours each time to get outside and enjoy the .

Beautiful, spectacular grounds, military museum is awe inspiring and done with much respect for those who are serving or who have served our nation. McCormick Mansion is a step back in time. Absolutely recommend it for all ages.

Cantigny park is amazing. Alot of things to see and to learn. knowing its past history is just one of the many things that needs to know. I got to know all those things that happened during ww II. Its a such good experience. I would love to take my son there to see how beautiful the place is. And for him to experience about the war history. For him to see and meet those important persons that gave freedom to our land. One of the best place to be And its a place to relax together with family.

This is a course that will challenge the mid-level golfer. Water comes into play on several holes, especially for those who didnt come to lay-up. Extremely well kept, and showed some great fall colors in October. The staff is friendly and helpful. Greens fees are on the high end and reflect the quality of the course.

This restaurant is the one I like best. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very attentive and the cuisine they place on your table is so delicious. I am always happy to have a decent meal here. Highly recommended.
What an amazing Memorial to our military folks, past and present. The best way we can honor all of our military folks, but especially those who gave all, is to make absolutely certain that that part of history is never allowed to repeat itself.

Is an absolutely beautiful facility. Ive been wanting to come here for years. Only thing I did wrong was come and play as a single and take a golf cart even though its November theres a lot of traffic out there and all I did was just keep running into people .Very courteous and professional staff and top notch facility throughout.Unbelievable looking practice area.

Love this place and the staff, well at least most of them there is always a crabby person working at a golf course, right? Great course and best practice facility in the area. Lots of PGA pros and great teachers. I have a swing coach here and he stops and says hi even when I am not getting a lesson. The teaching staff like what they do and it shows.
Most beautiful facility! Gorgeous gardens of tulips, magnolia, herbs and flowers and beautiful trees. You could spend hours just walking through and enjoying each of the unique gardens. The museum for our US military is top notch! Free admission. Amazing panoramas and collectibles are used to portray each time periods of our US history battles. So much detail and explanation is presented in a very clear and entertaining format. They even have a large section of the Berlin Wall preserved. This facility is absolutely a must see on all levels!

I love the grounds and gardens here. Unfortunately the gardens are bring redone. It is a great place for kids. My sons love climbing the many real war tank that are displayed around the grounds. We just explored their new 1st Batallion museum. We have been to many war museums around the country, even D.C. and this is on the top of my list. The old museum was fantastic and my war buff son actually likes the old one better but we thought the new one is great and the new interactive exhibit directly across from the museum us wonderful.
Great challenges. Three well designed nine hole courses and a fourth for just kids. All the amenities on the clubhouse and an unequalled practice academy.

Much better condition than I remember. Food in clubhouse is really good, even if there is nowhere to sit at the bar. Get a bigger bar.

The view is just beautiful from the restaurant patio. We watched the sunset, IG ambling around and white heron fly over the pond. Are sandwiches were good and I loved the waffle sweet potato fries

Cantigny ( pronounced Cantini) Golf Club is a beautiful public course with a terrific restaurant and a museum that teaches the history of the battle of Cantigny in the first world war.it features a long 18 hole course and an additional 18 hole course for younger and less experienced players. It is a wonderful place to visit and a great place for families with children, teenagers and adults of all ages.
Considering the times of safety concerns, the staff was friendly and serving to the patrons...the golf course was in excellent condition...great time on Fathers Day with my son...thank you
Beautiful place. I didnt golf, so I cant speak to that experience but the grounds are an awesome place to practice photography or just take a walk and look at the flowers.
Really nice place for any sort of get-together picture time. From wedding pictures to private photo shoots, this place offers a wife variety of locations, all in one place. The entry is _10, per car and photo permit is $35, which is not much compared to the other locations around this place. There is tank musuem here which kids like. Is a quite and serene place which is good for a lovely summer evening walk for couples.

Huge park with botanical gardens, ponds, multiple museums, dozens of walking paths, decommissioned tanks from the World Wars, and a gift shop. A great place to go for a romantic walk, a wedding, or an upscale event. The park also hosts small concerts and supports multiple organizations including Scouting. You do have to pay per vehicle to get in but its not much and its always worth it.

Very nice layout, course condition is pretty good in chicago winter time, summer will be super. the club house has a beautiful view, had a couple beer there on sunday around 4:30pm, kitchen closed by that time
To get away from everyday routine, to relieve stress or for a enjoyable walk this is the place. I was being thankful to Robert McCormick and descendants for giving us a beautiful place of tranquility.
An amazing experience. From gardens to tanks. Something is here for almost everyone. History, beauty and military are blended in a collage of wonderment. This is my wife and my favorite place to go. Highly recommended! And for only $5 parking fee ($10 on the weekends) you can not beat the experience!

Great place to spend the day! Kids love the tanks displayed outside the Military Museum. The museum is very good and the Mansion tour is very interesting. The gardens and grounds are beautiful as well. All for the price of parking your car! Don’t wait, go ASAP! Very very well kept up course. Difficult holes cause a great challenge. Very senic with lots of wildlife.
This course game me one of the best days of my life.* I got off a plane* I drover over with all my bags over to the course to for a 7:30am tee time. I was there at 7am.* They stored my bags in their back office, free of charge.* I played a perfect parkland, american-style course for a very reasonable price.* Every single staff member was warm and kind to me. They went out of their way to help me.* After the round, I went back to the restaurant and worked for five or six hours because I had a ton of work to do. Their wifi was amazingly fast.* I payed the replay rate and played again, another amazing experience.* I left at 7:30am thinking....I wish every day could be like today.I cant say enough about it. Im still grinning the next day about it. Ill always remember Cantigny, their great course, and their great people.
Been in Chicago for years and played for the first time summer of 2019. Phenomenal course for the price. Love the layout.
Beautiful. They have improved the grounds and built more flower gardens. Disappointed they took out the fountain. They had a tremendous herb garden which they removed. Dont know if there are plans to rebuild in the current garden they are renovating. Also, you never had to pay admission to park. Not sure when they put in the payment booths. It was $10 to gain admittance on a weekend. This will certainly reduce the number of times I will visit in the future.
This place was great. Didnt come for the golfing - was babysitting my nephews and needed something to entertain them with that was cheap. And we got it here! Five dollars got us both a playground that they ran around excitedly on for an hour, and then we got to go see and climb on the tanks where they just clamored all over, jumped off, and just had the time of their lives for another hour. Wore them out, kept them distracted, and all for five bucks. Ill take that!

Ever changing menu so there is always something new. The current menu has been my favorite even though it is missing my favorite French onion soup grilled cheese sandwich. Club house is always clean, bathrooms are clean and updated. I likes the hand dryer/sink combo, very practical and less mess. The view while you eat is very relaxing and beautiful. The wait staff is inviting, pleasant, and hard working.
They have a great Sunday brunch and the view from the red oak room is beautiful.
What a fantastic place! Not just a magnificent garden and golf course, but also the location of the 1st Infantry Division Museum and display of armored vehicles. The museum in extremely well presented, with VR experiences of Soldiers and battle. There are interesting community events such as a debate among local college forensics teams. Thanks to the McCormick family for this awesome place!
