The historical museum was interesting and had some fun things to look at. While my son and I were there to see the technology museum that is specifically attached to this museum, we still had a good time looking around. I enjoyed looking at the old medical equipment. He enjoyed the old post office and the 1890s bank safe. The ladies that were there were nice and easy to talk with.

Welp.... its been closed since Harvey. The sign says they will reopen eventually. At least we got to stretch our legs in the parking lot.

Fascinating museum and even better now that it has merged with the Wharton Technology museum. The hunting room is a must see. This museum has something for everyone.

Much more than you would expect from a small town museum. Actually 3 museums for the price of 1: County, hunting trophies, and 20th century technology. Free!

Still closed due to the damage from Hurricane Harvey. Will update when they reopen.
