It was an amazing experience, my friend and I did the boat tour with Roy (I believe that was the gentleman’s name). We left there with so much interesting knowledge about the swamps and the gators. Also a little bit of history, but he made it really interesting. And we got to feed the alligators!! It was great, definitely coming back when I visit again. Make sure you take cash, there’s no ATM in the area....
First time ever doing a swamp tour. I will say it was fun and adventuress. The captain of the boat was very knowledgeable of the environment and wildlife. We went in a perfect time, we seen a lot of gators including one that was big. His name was Winky. I will say we had fun and will definitely come back to see more. Should come and take a tour.
The tour was good even thou it was cold. The guide was very informative and knew alot about New Orleans. He even knows how to make red beans! I would have gave him a 5 if it was warmer and we could have seen more......
We took the boat tour with Captain Ron and had a blast! We saw a handful of alligators, herons, turtles, fish, and even a raccoon! Captain Ron fed the alligators and raccoon as well, which was such a cool thing to see. We also got a lot of really great info about the swamp and all its plants and creatures. One of the best experiences of our trip!
Best price of all others and outstanding experience. Young guide was lively and likeable. He knew where to look for the 7 ft gator which we even got to touch. We spent so much time with the gator at our boat we actually got a bit bored. Same with handling a baby gator. Highly recommended.
Captain Dylan made this tour such a fun adventure! He had jokes lol pretty witty ones (I wont mention them so he can use them again) he had the boat laughing and having a great time. I really enjoyed learning about the environment and seeing the gators. We saw a baby one all the way up to 9ft. I have never been able to get that close to one in the wild. We were also able to bring our own food and drinks which was nice. This birthday excursion was a big success and mostly because of our great captain, Dylan. Thank you!!
From a rough beginning to an amazing end. We did the boat tour on a Sunday at 2pm. I called and made the reservation on Saturday and they told me that the bus would pick us up between 12:45-1:15. Now the bus had not shown so I called and talked to the company directly to see what had happened because the bus hadn’t stopped. Well I called and a gentleman by the name of Nick answered. He had explained to me about the situation and had given a true conclusion that when the woman who booked my tour had booked it she had placed it for the wrong day BUT if I wanted to take an Uber they would reimburse me when I arrived and then they would get us on the bus back to the hotel. So we get there and the tour was AMAZING. our guid was so informative and witty he would stop to feed the gators marshmallows to get them close to the boat. Now we were on the way out once the tour was over and headed to the bus that had once again left without us. We headed back to the check in and amazingly Nick was to our rescue yet again when he called the driver only to find they had left! However without hesitation Nick offered to drive us back to our hotel and apologized again but was incredibly kind. Nick truly saved our trip and our guide made the ride. Thank you guys so so much for such amazing customer care and thank you Nick for going the extra mile. We will definitely be back on our next trip to New Orleans!!!
We did the hotel pick up which I highly recommend if youre staying in the French quarters. This tour was great from the pick up until the drop off. The Captain had great information on the bayou and its history. Definitely try the cajun egg rolls. Saw multiple gators and other wildlife. Well worth the price.
We did the swamp tour over the air boat. I would highly recommend. Our tour guide has so much awesome information about the swamp, wild life and it’s history. Great guys!
We had a great time with Captain Ron! He was very entertaining and enthusiastic. Learned a lot about the history of the area and the challenges now being faced to keep the area unspoiled and lasting for future generations to enjoy for years to come. Truly a great experience- amazing that such natural beauty is literally across the River from the hustle and bustle of New Orleans.
I had a so much fun. We got to see a lot of gators and feed them marshmallows. I even took a picture next to a gator. The guy driving the boat told us a lot of information about the gators.
This was my first Swamp Tour ever, I visited New Orleans in November and my sister in law and I decided to go on on the tour. As the captain stated this is not a tour its history. It was very informative and nice ride, we did see alagitors, but was disapointed that they were like 4-6 inches
This is the best tour we have been on period. The owner of the company is a very caring and compassionate guy. He has the best folks working for him. The original swamp tour we booked was with another company who shall remain nameless. They didnt tell us which bus to get on. We show up at Ultimate Swamp Adventures with no reservations or tickets or anything. I was panicked. This should have ruined our weekend getaway. BUT... this place is so awesome... THEY FIXED EVERYTHING! We were able to get a private tour. And..... it was EXCELLENT. So many Gators. So many good facts. Beautiful views!!!! I will definitely recommend them to anyone!
This was a whole bunch of fun. Didnt see any big gators but a dozen or so smaller ones. Captain Ron was terrific. He has so much knowledge of the swamp and shares it freely. He really made the tour. Dont miss this one!
Captain Danny.....awesome guide. He even got off boat and got some 2 month old gators
Great, informative tour with Captain Ron. The staff was friendly and the check-in process was a breeze.
Just went on the small airboat tour with my husband and we both loved it! Our tour guide was amazing, think his name was Bobby? He was funny, informative, great with the gators and genuinely cared about the area. We got to see so many gators, learn about the history of the area and even feed the gators (with a stick). Would definitely recommend!
Capt. Dylan was sooo amazing he made our trip definitely memorable! Got to see a handful of gators! Definitely recommend and ask to take capt. Dylan’s guide!
Great way to experience Louisiana. Guide was great and the gators didnt disappoint. Bayou is so pretty. Tons of wildlife. Guides let the kids feed the alligators marshmallows.
So much Fun! Cant wait to go again!
We enjoyed our swamp tour with Ultimate Swamp Adventures. We were fortunate to go out on a beautiful, sunny Spring day and the scenery was gorgeous. The boat didnt seem to go out too far but our guide seemed to know the area well and stopped when alligators were spotted. Our guide was also very good at spotting the alligators and we saw many on our tour including one huge guy that was thought to be about 13 feet long. Our guide invited the two youngest, prettiest women in our tour to sit near him and gave them a bit of special attention. Im sure they had a slightly better experience than the rest of us but overall we enjoyed ourselves and would likely take another tour in the future. We were able to arrange pick up and drop off transportation with this company for $15 per person at a location near to where we were staying in New Orleans. The driver, Rick, was fantastic. He directed us to a nice local bar, Mona Lisas, very near to the swamp tour where you can purchase drinks to take out on the boat. It was a pleasant, relaxing way to see and learn a bit about the swamp and the alligators that live there.
This was an awesome experience to check off our bucket list. The staff was warm and friendly and absolutely hilarious.
The best experience of my lousiana vacation. Be honest this activity made my trip worthwhile! This trip saved the day! I highly recommend it is great tour guide the nature is fantastic the bayou is a one of a kind ecosystem what makes you think about our environment how beautiful is our planet is and we have to save it for the future generations! The tour guide name Captain Ron is a great guy very acknowledgble and professional give you that safe secure feel what is very important knowing that hundreds of creatures under you could kill you in a blink of an eye! So I highly recommend it for everyone!
Great host/driver. We seen atleast 6 gators and learned about the swamp life..
We were a group of four and took a tour some time ago with Tyler and he was amazing! He was so informative, funny, helpful, and we felt safe the entire time! We had a great time and have since sent many people their way for tours. The price is amazing for what you get and we would love to go again when we are in the area. The office staff were just as friendly and fun as well. Please give this place a try, you wont be disappointed!
Loved! Loved this tour! Fan boat was awesome...our tour guide was great, saw lots of gators! Make sure you visit before you leave, restaurant is good too! Good people!
It was hot... But it was good and relaxing. We went on the covered boat. There was plenty of alligators small ones and big ones. bring some marshmallows. Also go ahead and pay the extra money for the speed boat it looked more entertaining.
Great tour. Lots of fun. Are guide Ron had lots of info and really good storys. Got to see lots of different animals.
Loved this place.. we had Captain Danny.. he was a great tour guide and very knowledgable on all that was around him.. Thank Capt Danny it was a great time
Such a fun time! We originally got rained out (which was understandable because there was so much lightning and it was a safety thing). They offered refunds or to reschedule (they felt SO bad)... we came back the next day and had a great time! Dylan was our tour guide and was super fun and knowledgeable. We were able to ride the bus from downtown New Orleans to save money by not using an Uber.
Our tour guide was Jeff and he was amazing. It was my 2 daughters and I on a small airboat. It was the best. Feeding the gators was so fun and the “cool down” was needed!!! Jeff was very knowledgeable and great with the kids. I would suggest this to anyone as a must do adventure!
One of my favorite things to do in the area. The staff are great, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. We tried our best to catch a baby gator to look at but it was elusive. We saw a 14 gator on the banks so that was more than enough to feel accomplished. Thats all without saying that it is extremely cool to ride on a craft that can go over all the weeds, mud and trees with ease.
Dylan was very knowledgeable and the best tour guide ever. Give him a raise
Captain Ron gave us a good tour and dropped some knowledge on our group
This was a great tour. Saw lots of alligators and learned about the Louisiana swamps. Tour guide was great and the bus driver was the best
Had a blast... definitely coming back for another swamp tour.
This was a great experience. Quick drive from New Orleans (they will even pick you up and bring you). Two hours in the beautiful swamp waters. We even got to see a few alligators. Our boat captain, Capt. Dillon, was knowledgeable, friendly, and very inclusive of everyone on the boat. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
I was on the boat lil Cajun with captain Dan. The boat is large, has a roof (thank goodness) for some shade and plenty of seating. Captain Dan was really knowledgeable about every animal we came across: egrets, cranes, turtles and of course the gators. Its great that he knows all of the gators names and the history of how the bayou has changed, since he was born and raised there. All in all it was a fun, authentic trip with beautiful views.
My wife & I had a great swamp tour with Captain Dylan today. We saw quite a few alligators & birds. Captain Dylan was funny, friendly & informative. Highly recommend!
We took a large group air boat tour with Gary. The boat was well maintained and clean, the staff was all very friendly and accommodating. Gary has a larger than life personality that will keep you laughing for the entire ride. Our tour was about 2 hours long and was full of information, laughs, and alligators. I would definitely recommend this establishment.
I had a wonderful time with my family doing the swap tour. I did the covered tour. The location was close to New Orleans. There was plenty of alligators and we were able to see them up close.
The tour guide was very informative when giving the tour. The sites that we visited were nice.
Our group had an amazing time!! It doesnt look pretty at all but once you get out there the atmosphere is serene. The trees are beautiful. Seeing an alligator up close was amazing! Nature at its finest and trust me, Im not the person who wants to be that close to nature. Our tour guy Mitch was comedic and was full of interesting knowledge. I could definitely do this again!
Very cool experience. If you dont wanna get soaked do not sit in the front seats
This was so fun and very exciting definitely going back for the airboat ride on a day that the weather is better it was a blast and I learned so much not only about westwego but the bayou and alligators and our tour guide was awesome
We had Captain Dylan, and he was so amazing! He gave us a lot of info about the alligators and the area. This was such a fun experience, and I definitely learned a lot! (Plus we got to see some alligators which was the best part)
The tour guide was awesome! We had a lot of fun.
Super fun and informative. The tour guide, I didnt catch his name, was a young man who engaged everyone on the boat and answered all questions. Made silly jokes to keep everyone laughing and saw some alligators as well as other little animals and birds so that was awesome.
Really fun ride! Captain Mike was very informative. Highly recommend!
It was way more fun than I expected. Saw many gators, raccoons, and beautiful scenery. Our guide Captain Ron was funny and knowledgeable.
I went on the Ultimate swamp tour while I was in New Orleans. It was an awesome experience I had never seen alligators up so close. Our guide named Dylan was very friendly and informative he had a ton of knowledge.
Absolutely loved our younger guidesAnd the fact my little fed a alligator
Amazing experience with capt. Danny. Would recommend to request him as swamp tour guide, explains everything in detail and also calls random nutria and racoons, moreover catches random snakes to entertain the tourist. Overall he is best.
Fun but didnt see Winkie the gator. :(
Had an amazing time with the family on our tour and our Captain was awesome very knowledgeable and we saw tons of Alligators!!
I had booked the latest tour with my girlfriend, and we were running behind, trying to get through the insane rush hour traffic in New Orleans. Somehow we made it just in time. Next thing you know, we were in a swamp-boat kicking back. Quite a difference after being in the Big Easy just 15 minutes earlier. Our guide was amazing, and the second I heard him talk, I knew was full blooded Cajun, raised in the swamps. We were one of only two couples on the boat, which was great, and gave us a chance to really get to talk to our captain and hear his stories of growing up hunting in the swamps. He starting making gator calls with his mouth, and sure enough, within minutes, a gator was heading our way. He fed it marshmallows and kept it around for quite a while so we could get a good look. The ride back was peaceful and relaxing, and as the sun started to set, we were rewarded with some amazing views. We did a lot on our trip to the New Orleans area, but this was definitely my favorite, and an experience Ill never forget.
Excellent time and excellent knowledge. Will definitely recommend.
This was the worst tour that we took while we were in NOLA. We could not hear a word that the captain was saying as there were no mikes or speakers to hear anything. Ride ended up being just a ride in a big dingy on the swamp.
It was nice. We saw about 7 gators along the way. It was a serene ride and not too hot with the large group boat.
We had an awesome time! Captain Dylan was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He kept the tour fun and engaging. We had three kids from 5-10 yrs old and they all had fun. Definitely check them out for any swamp tour needs.
Awesome informative tour. The Captain Ron was great
First time in New Orleans and doing one of these tours. The staff was very friendly and tour guide Dylan was amazing. He was very informative and had a great sense of humor. I would definitely reccomend taking the time to do one of their tours. They get you up close to the gators. Our tour guide Dylan was fearless and even touched one of the big gators
This was my first swamp tour and I had so much fun! The tour guide was very informative and funny. We saw several gators and a couple of fish. Gators love marshmallows so I would recommend bringing a bag so that you can see the gators up close.
Well worth every penny we spent! Mitch was a helluva swamp tour guide. Had a lot of up close and personal time with the wildlife and plenty of time with friendly banter.Would recommend to all friends and family that are in the area!
This was a great tour. We thought we got a bad deal when we didnt get the airboat but it turned out even better. We went on the big aluminum boat called the swamp monster and the guide Gary was awesome. He explained that this boat was much quieter than the air boats, which let us get super close to the gators. He even set a few jug lines while we were out and just gave us a great experience.
I think weather had a great downfall on this excursion. I dont blame the people. Bad weather puts a damper on a persons energy. I feel was a great experience but I also feel that people that worked there were just chilling and business is slow day. But I had a good time.
Loved the tour! First time on the BoyouOur guide Gary was a hoot! We learned a lot. Would definitely return
The tour was amazing. Are tour guide captain ron did a fantastic job. Would definitely recommend others to go on the tour.
Recently did a tour with this group with Dylan as a captain. Dylan was very knowledgeable, educational and fielded the groups various questions leaving us satisfied. If you want a tour try to get dylan, very professional and funny. Such an honor to have him as part of the tour.
It was quite the adventure. We saw plenty of alligators, birds, turtles and other wildlife on our tour, so I would say that is a plus. To make the adventure an even more enjoyable time, Captain Dylan was very funny and was knowledgeable about the plants and animals in the environment. I would definitely do this again and I definitely recommend!
We had such a good time and our guide was awesome. Dont let the locals talk you out of doing this! We got to hold a baby gator and the fan boat was so fun!
We went on the swamp tour. The guide was knowledge and hilarious! We saw many alligators and turtles, along with some birds and nutria. It was a great time and I would highly recommend it.
A tour guide was wonderful. He was knowledgeable about the wild life, swamp, and forestry
We had a great tour today New Orleans
Dillan is the best Captain! He was so fun and informative. He went out of his way to make sure everyone had a great time.
We felt very welcomed and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. This swamp is very close to the city so you wouldnt spend too much time traveling to other swamps. Saw quite a few gators and the tour guide even fed a couple of them from his hand!
Awesome expierence. We were a group of 4. Reserved it & all. Captain scott was informative. Alligator knowledge was learned. Seen gators, heron, snakes, birds & more. Pretty sights & scenery. Awesome time
Danny was the perfect guide! He is a local who knows his way around gator country. This was my first time to Nola and will not be my last. Holding a gator for the first time was the highlight of my trip.
All around a good experience. Dylan was our tour guide and he was very knowledgable on what all we were looking at and asking questions on. Unfortunately there were only 2 gators out on a log but thats mother nature so no disappointment here in our party of 7.
We absolutely loved the tour. Our Captain, Dylan, was super informative and patient while navigating the bayou. The tour was entertaining and fun, plus we saw a lot of gators! Definitely recommend!
We really enjoyed this adventure. Our guide was great, sharing lots of history, information and even some swamp tales. Despite the cooler weather, he found alligators and got us super close to them. Great experience.
I cannot say enough amazing things about these folks. My husband and I came down for wrestlemania week, and although I am afraid of boats and being on the water, I wanted to do something to surprise my husband- and honestly I think I enjoyed the tour more than he did. Captain Gary was as knowledgeable as he was personable and hilarious. He was active in engaging those on the tour, he teased everyone in the most playful and respectful of ways, and I wish we were staying longer so we could book another of his tours.
Ron was nice. Taught us about the bayou/swamp got close up of gators. And told hilarious stories. We were latw because of traffic and he still let us join.
Great tour got to see many alligators on our way.... we took swamp tour from Groupon and did booking a day ago.... our guide was good and was taking every corner so that we can see all of those ... worth visiting
Captain Dillion was awesome. He was full of knowledge and helpful information. On the trip we saw many species of bird and of course we saw Alligators.
Loved this experience and our tour guide, Captain Dylan was amazing!
Great tour! We got the boat to ourselves (group of 5) and saw lots of wildlife. Got to see a 14 foot alligator called winky! Captain Mitch was an awesome guide and kept the group laughing. Overall great experience!
What a great time! Captain Dylan was fun and entertaining! He was very knowledgeable and funny. His jokes were great! We were so offended Lol (just kidding). We loved it (group of 12). Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone who wants to do a swamp tour!
This was a really fun experience. The guide made it fun and was very informative. He played a game with the other captains and splashed some of the other boats. The aligators were actually really used to humans and enjoy marshmallows it seems like. Definitely something to knock off the bucket list.
Had an excellent tour this morning. Gators and birds were out. Captain Dylan was very knowledgeable about the tour area, from vegetation to wildlife to history of the area. He was very engaging and interactive as well, including everyone personally throughout the tour.
Great tour, saw some gators and lots of turtles. Our guide Gary was awesome and told us lots of interesting things about the bayou
Our swamp tour was pretty awesome. I would highly recommend captain Ron as a guide.
Great tour guide on the flat bottom boat. Got to see several sizes of alligators, eagles, and turtles. Thankfully no snakes today!
