Small preserve with some nice sights like a clearing, river with small waterfalls, and evergreen lined pathways. The lowlands are great, the highlands arent really that nice overall. Dogs are allowed, but there are only three cars allowed in the parking lot at a time, so you might have to wait for people to leave in order to park. On the other hand, that means that the small preserve is usually fairly empty. Would recommend for someone looking for a new short hike close by to explore.
Very enjoyable area to walk. Low difficulty. Trees, stream, berries. About 25 minute loop.
Easy, pleasant loop(s) whole family can negotiate. A pleasant ramble through old farmland reverting to forest. Meadow paths are mowed 6’ wide, woods trails well tramped and delineated.
Great spot for a springtime hike.
