Beautifully landscaped, well maintained park. Just big enough to walk along scenic lake. Made a picnic lunch and sat under one of the open gazebos. Well structured playground for kids. Spotless public bathrooms. Ample free parking. Unique history lesson: Bronze plaques with information on the history of the Tequesta Indians have been inlaid in the walkways.

So beautiful! Very well kept grounds with a large pond and lots of ducks and other birds. The playground is very nice with newer equipment. Beautiful old trees everywhere.

It seem the park was refurbished some time ago. Very nicely done and as always very enjoyable. To bad the old bridge is gone.

You could spend weeks roaming around this place.Its amazing.The Japanese Tea Garden is a must !

There was a birthday party on the grass with over 30 kids (that should not be allowed) the kids were everywhere and when they were done they left a huge pile of garbage .. the park has lovely view so its great for bike riding or just a walk.

My family had a safe and fun experience visiting for the first time, this park. The lake view is so beautiful. The park is clean, it has several parking lots, the playground area is in exceptional good conditions and the bathrooms are like 5 star hotel bathrooms. Lol. We loved it and we are definitely coming back.

Beautiful park with walkways and playground. It have a nice pedestrian bridge with fishing zone. Also, the park have a bike station with tools and manual air pump.

Peace Mound park is a lovely park that is great for a quick walk. There are several benches with great views of the water and the ducks. This place is dog friendly and my pups loved watching the ducks!

Very nice area park. My only complaint is there isnt a lot of parking.There are public bathrooms and a water fountain. The bathrooms were very clean and the water fountain tasted ok.This is a nice place to take a walk, even if you dont have small children.

Great park with a walk around sidewalk. Nice pond with lots of ducks and possibly aligators, but we did not see any gators. We did see some lizards of some sort and enjoyed reading the historical plaques about the Indians that lived in the area. A fun park was currently under construction but will probably be open soon.

Park is beautiful and has a children playground with different equipments. Worth a visit! It was at a walking distance of 20 minutes from where I am staying.

Been coming here for over 20 years, they updated the park to something more modern. It looks amazing, the playground is great, clean, and safe. They have new restrooms. Beautiful park to spend some time in. They also have benches throughout so you can relax.

Nice, clean park with a playground for children, a walking path that circles the park and passes by the lake, it has numerous benches to sit and relax. It also has stations with bags and covered waste containers for cleaning up after the dogs The one negative is the parking is limited.

A favorite spot for the locals to go for a nice stroll lakeside. The grounds are dedicated to the Tequesta Indians who lived on and around the area. A new bathroom has been built.

I came to this park because it is one of the few Tequesta sites left in South Florida. Most were bulldozed for development. The Tequesta were a Native American tribe who lived in South Florida from 3rd century BCE for roughly 2,000 years. They were wiped out shortly after the Spanish explorers came to Florida. Since they no longer exist not very much is known about them. You can see an important Tequesta archaeological site at the Miami Circle where you can also see a bronze statue of a warrior on the Brickell Bridge. Artifacts found at the Miami Circle can be viewed at the History Miami Museum. Another burial mound can be visited in Pompano Beach.This park is is the site of a Tequesta burial mound. The city of Weston has honored this history with a series of informational plaques in the path that wraps around the south end of the park. The plagues are very interesting and I actually learned some things that I didnt know. After the Tequesta left this site it was used by the Seminoles. Today there is a beautiful park here with a nice view from the top of the hill to the lake below. The park has a fishing dock, a playground for children, and plenty of benches and lawn space to enjoy a picnic. A paved running/ walking path winds around the park. The park is beautifully landscaped and filled with many flowering trees and plants. Ducks inhabit the pond and they are clearly used to being fed because they have no problem coming out of the lake to run right up to you to give you the sad eye. This beautiful park is another reason to love Weston.
