BEST adult hockey program in the area - The director, Ashley, is nothing but professional and fair. She keeps out of control players in check while allowing us to have fun playing the sport we love in a safe manner. I love that she’s not scared to suspend or penalize the has-been hockey players who don’t know how to play safe (we are adults who have to go to our real jobs the next day, after all).

I haven’t skated here in 7 years! First the customer service was astounding!!! It’s all about the vibes you get when going to do something fun with the family! It wasn’t very busy at all which I was surprised by but it was a nice surprise. They have nice skate trainers for little ones and honestly it builds confidence because this was my 4year olds first time ice skating and she didn’t even want the trainer after a little bit! Mark the Ice Patrol was seriously so friendly, very attentive, and made it fun for the little ones! Then Chipper (I believe his name) the Penguin came and that was super amazing and cute! We will be coming at least once a month.

Worst adult hockey in The state. Ever since Graham left this place it went down hill. Adult director Ashley is so bad at her job her communication skills are lacking to put it nice. She dont care that refs play favorites. Oh she is never there. I havent even meet her. Let alone saw her around. I grow playing here. I grow with Doug and Tyson teaching puck. I know how to play puck. Its just sad that its gone to shame. Avoid this place go play @ boulder where nate the adult director actully knows how 2 do his JOB

Ice rink is great. However, stick and puck apparently also means various parts of juniors teams taking up corners of the ice to do drills. My husband literally had to shoot at the boards while trying to avoid people who decided to scrimmage him off of the already tiny amount of ice he was working with. Apex is a bit more of a drive but actually enforces a more organized schedule.

Great place to go on a Friday night for open skate. This place offers a large facility with 3 full length ice rinks. They Offer snacks for purchase they also have a large pro shop where prices are fairly responsible. They do have an elevator for handicap. There is a bar and grill that over looks one of the three ice rinks.

It was so much fun to go! The rink was busy during the public access, but there are multiple rinks, and a hockey game was taking place in one of the side rinks while the main rink was full of people. There are accessible bathrooms and elevators, and the rental fees and access fees are reasonable. Additionally, I brought in a pair of skates that I had let get very dull, and for an additional fee they sharpened the blades for me.

Not great for public visitors. You will definitely be an outsider. Several hockey and figure skating clubs are the main users. Most of the workers were confused by each of my requests.I asked if I could skate, they said only from 4:15-5:15. I said it’s 4:10 now can I go ahead and rent skates. She seemed confused and I said I would wait to get on the ice.The teenagers working the skate rental and concessions meant well but were busy socializing. I asked if I could get a locker to store my backpack and they said they only had locker rooms for the teams. I asked if I could rent the ones at the end of the hallway, they said oh those lockers... yeah it’s fifty cents. I then stood in line at the concession stands to get Change as the teenager talked with his friend buying nachos for 5 minutes after he received his nachos.Overall,They had nice facilities. Just not directed to the public.

Good place to skate. WARNING: bring your own high ankle support skates! Their rentals are DANGEROUS and no way to learn and a PERFECT platform for getting injured. I’m very athletic. Skated my whole life. I rented their skates and felt like I honestly had never skated in my entire life..The way they makes skates now is simply dangerous. You need the high ankle old fashioned figure skates to support control of your movement. They don’t even sell them in their store. I spoke with over 12 people that night. Even overhearing conversations everyone had the same thing to say about their skates they felt wobbly unsafe and out of control. I fell 3 times I honestly don’t remember the last time I fell skating. I had no confidence I couldn’t do half the things I would normally be able to do I left early because I ended up getting hurt. I’m not coming back without going to get an old pair of skates from like the thrift store. I also ran into an x professional figure skater and she had a high ankle skates I also ran into another skater who is really good; she also had, older model high ankle skates. Seems really crazy. This World is always trying to make things better when something should remain the same because I’m telling you most people were flopping around who had those crappy rentals. Lastly ther were several extremely fast kids whom I saw take out three people. They weren’t even asked to leave or reprimanded. There were A few families with really small children there....

The only downfall about this ice centre is that its always extremely busy, but that is because theres such a great ice center. They have great rinks and great service from their employees. Its easy to get in and worth the cost, especially with all the fun youll have. Whether its just going to skate, wanting to have fun playing hockey, or going for or setting up a party, they are fantastic. And to make things even better attached to the center is a sports bar/restaurant. Again they have great service, great prices, and its very easy to get into. You can sit back watch TV, eat some great food and have a drink if youre old enough and you like. LOL. and to make things even better if you need a place to stay right next door is the Westin hotel. Its a beautifully amazing hotel that has the service and the cleanliness that youre looking for. The prices are expensive compared to other hotels, but if you go online and look at the hotel prices and order a room that way, the price is so much lower and worth it. Even if you ended up paying full price and not looking for a discount, I have to say this hotel is more than worth it. And if it couldnt get any more better, within walking distance (I mean within less than 5 minutes) you can cross a bridge and go to one of the many restaurants, shopping / stores, or AMC theater to watch a movie right there! Its phenomenal fantastic and worth every bit of your time, driving distance, and any money spent. I highly recommend this ice centre for all that they provide, and all the other entertainment / restaurant / hotel. Its one of the best places around and I recommend going as much as possible! They are more than worth your time, money, driving distance! Go try it out and come back many many times, compared to other places this place, this area is ideal and better than any other place around.! :-)

Figuring out how to get to the facility parking lot is not signed at all. You assume you turn at the light but you are not able to access the building at all. PLEASE POST A SIGN AT THAT INTERSECTION. Once in the lot you must walk another block to the entrance, check in, then down a long hallway, down the stairs, circle back down another hallway to the appropriate rink. Skates rented were WELL USED, payed $75 for the lessons and forced to pay $16 to become a member of some skate organization whose membership is due in July so if we continue lessons, we must pay another yearly $16 fee...they do not pro rate. Out of 5 staff members I came in contact with only 2 were polite. I wont continue using this facility.

Certain referees at this rink in adult hockey are ridiculous. We have had issues with certain calls, when asked to explain what the call was we get ignored and laughed at! As a parent, spouse or relative who come to watch the game all we see is unfair calls, intense slashing as well as tripping checking from behind then the player goes down and not one referee comes over to check on the player! We have contacted the hockey dipshit director once before and have got hung up on or ignored! We are watching the video then nothing comes out of it!! I want the number to call whoever the referees are employed for an log a formal complaint against both referees for doing nothing when clearly a player was down that I have on my, iPhone to just not bother to check he was okayWe want our money back and go somewhere else

This rink is good but not great. I play adult hockey here; there are plenty of teams and good competition as well as a wide range of league levels (A-E) to suit your particular skill. The management of the leagues is also very professional and well organized. However, I have been disappointed with the quality of the ice. Its very soft and inconsistent between rinks. Hope it gets better soon, cause I paid a lot of money for crappy ice.
