Nice selection for a smaller sized location. Great customer service, polite and patient. Parking can be a hassle. They have some Jewish holiday items, which was pleasant to see. Maybe Kwanzaa next year, Michaels?

Michaels the arts & crafts store

I have only recently fallen in love with michaels, but not all stores are well taken care of. This one is, thankfully, because its only 6 min from my front door! Clean, well stocked... The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is related to staffing (in the evening, when I shop): if the customer ahead of you is buying big, the wait in line can be endless when there is only 1 person Manning the registers.

This store is my crack!!! Everyone here is always so nice and helpful, and Brittany is amazing! (I think she’s a manager?) I will never get tired of coming here- I obviously love the products and shopping, but I can’t rave enough about the employees! They always make sure you get the best deals/ coupons too :)

Got wedding things 40% off and was able to use coupon for things.

Lots of supplies for lots of different crafts and hobbies. Well organized. The negative aspects were long checkout line (only 2clerks), and very, very few people available for help/information.

Great variety of items to choose from for every craft. My personal #1 craft store to go to. A bit expensive but is worth it when competitors like Hobby Lobby are homophobic.

I love crafts and Michaels have a great selection and variety of crafts for everyone. From the beginner to the well experienced person.

I usually go here about once every 2 weeks for craft supplies and sometimes the cashiers are awake and willing to check you out but other times they are too busy talking to even look at customers. I think the biggest issue with this store is if you need something, you need to go all the way up to the front, wait in the check out line and then ask. I have never seen anyone in the aisles assisting customers. I do enjoy that it is one of the less busy locations and I usually can get what I am looking for, if I have enough time to search for it on my own.

This store is great for the specific packaging materials I like to use for work. Thank you for the selection and availability.

Watch the way you talk to and treat my baby! He recently went in to get his art supplies and staff would barely help him or talk with him so he has to order online. He’s an amazing artist and should be treated better when he comes in. Y’all are trippin and owe him an apology!

I appreciated the entire staff were wearing masks, the individual who checked us out cleaning her hands before assiting us, and the floors being clearly marked with aisle directions and sufficient distancing marks in the checkout lane.

Often a bit of a struggle to find parking. Well stocked. Oddly organized although like items are roughly grouped together. Staff are friendly and the frequent coupons are real money savers. Their prices seem on the cusp of being truly too high but still a good place to shop for crafting needs - just... use a coupon.

They had what I wanted, and had very clear making for social distancing. Everyone was in masks.

This store has a limited selection of craft supplies. There is some cute holiday decor however it it pricey. Even on sale. The front end does not seem to be managed well. Very slow checkout with not enough help.

Not a lot of stock out. Missing a lot of Halloween items.

It somehow takes forever to check out here... Every time, there is only 1 person in line, yet its about 15 minutes to scan their stuff....

Awesome Michaels! The staff is really helpful, its always busy and and selection is awesome. Went for Black Friday this year and they had every single register open and staffed. Always get and use the coupons!!

All the craft supplies! My son always enjoys coming here to check out the kits and art supplies for kids and loves it!

I am always impressed with the selection at this Michaels. It is well organized and stocked regularly. If you have a vision or project in mind, theyre going to have what you need to finish or bam it up. Most of their craft supplies are a good deal, and you can get larger pieces at a moderate price point. They have all kinds of paints, including 3D and fabric paints and tie-dye sets. Plenty of good wooden or styrofoam templates to start with, or canvases of all sizes to ruin (maybe thats just me ). You can even find Scrapbooking and framing supplies, as well as fake flora and mosses and things. Its the first (or only) stopping point for the creatively minded.

My sister and I are literally here every single day because of the coupons. Im almost 99% sure I know the layout and would be able to help customers because we cant stay away. If you have a craft or project, Michaels is the place to go.

There is a closer Michaels where we live in Arvada, but we drive to this location in Walnut Creek because of the incredible service and selection at this store. Also, we love the grab bags!

I normally enjoy Michaels but today wasnt my day. I went there specifically for Art resin. I had a 50% off coupon Inwas going to use. They only had 1 knock off brand available, and were actually sold out of the clear kind I needed anyways. I ended up getting some level 2 acrylic paint with the coupon. Also I found a pack on canvases that had a huge tear in them. I asked at the front if they would discount them. They said because they were already on sale they wouldnt. Overall the bext time I would probably just order what I need off Amazon. I took the bus up there, and felt like I waisted 2 hours of my day attempting to use this coupon.

If youre looking for a type of pen this is the place to go. And pant and pant bushes. Probably other art project thing. If you put yourself on a time or you will lose track of your day.

Have great products. Customer service is a hit or miss. Sometimes I dont even get greeted the entire visit. Finding assistance can be hard. And I have had to argue with a manager about an error they made that they refused to admit and didnt want to fix. I come back for the products not service.

Went here to look for some Paint With Diamonds and couldnt believe the lack of help by employees. The store seemed to be staffed accordingly but they werent involved with the customers just standing around gossiping.

My girlfriend and I went to Michaels about a week ago. She loves to paint and i enjoy crafts. Michaels has any type of craft or art you can imagine and some you cant. Some of the prices are high. But thats because they have the best selection out of any arts and craft stores I know of.

They were out of stock for everything my daughter was shopping for.

Michaels is like the Bed Bath and Beyond of arts and craft stores. I started going here after the Hobby Lobby supreme court decision and i will never go back. There are always coupons available in the range of 40% off and their seasonal sales are amazing. They are the base for all my theme party decorations and when they dont have something they can either order it or know where I can get it. Im really happy with them.

This is the first time Ive been to this Michaels location. It is smaller than the one I usually go to. I was able to find some merchandise I couldnt find online or at the location I usually go to. But, in other merchandise categories, I wasnt able to find any trace of 2 different on-sale items. I had a wonderful cashier who was the perfect combination of very nice and highly productive. I will definitely return to this Michaels location.

Perfect craft store. Ive always found everything Ive needed for every random craft I take on. From resin to painting to baking. Today I stopped at Michaels after 2 other stores for black food coloring. Its Halloween season and everyone was sold out. Except Michaels. They had a huge stock.I love their app. Their coupons are easy to use. And their staff is always extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this location.

This Michaels always has a good selection and we enjoy shopping here! I was particularly won over this last visit when my three year old dropped and broke a glass ornament in the store. We quickly told someone what had happened and two ladies came over to help clean up. They were both incredibly gracious and did not make us feel at all bad about the incident reminding my kiddo that accidents happen! They exceeded all expectations in my book!

My husband and I love this store, especially around Halloween when they come out with some fun spooky dark decor. They have great deals (better than JoAnns), and they are flexible with coupons (within reason). I also shop at this Michaels for art supplies and various craft materials. Great selection, well organized, clean, the staff is friendly and energetic too.

This place has all your crafting needs & more. If you play your coupons right you can get things at a great cost, but otherwise things are usually on sale! Great for beginner, intermediate, and advanced makers

A little hectic because it was after the holidays, but overall the visit wasnt bad. The staff their is very helpful and easy to talk to. The only complaint I might have is that they didnt have the product they said they had on their site, but its kinda like that with all stores so yeah.

This Michaels is very easy to get to and extremely clean and organized. They have everything youre looking for, and always have sales. And if you sign up online with Michael still send you coupons constantly, so that you save even more even with the sales they have going on.

Loved my experience here. My quick trip was easy thanks to the knowledgeable and helpful staff. Their willingness to help me and understand my needs made the experience great!

Nice store. I especially like their holiday items and love their holiday sales. I just wish this place hadnt moved from their 92nd & Sheridan location. I only visit a time or two a year now because I dont like all the traffic around their present location and its a longer drive over there for me.

If you’re looking for a big selection of decor and craft supplies, go to a different store. This one is very small and limited in what they carry. Otherwise the staff is always very friendly.

Don’t believe their price match policy. They’re gonna ask you what product you want to price match and if it’s a more expensive one (in this case the Fujifilm Instax Mini 9), they would tell you they don’t do price match on that particular product. I read their policy and there’s no mention about that. Better go somewhere else where they honor their own policy.

This is my local craft store and they have great selection. Something is always on sale, so there are great deals as well.
