Bradley Woods Reservation

One of my favorite hikes on the west side of Cleveland. Trail around Bunns Lake is asphalt and other trails on dirt and autumn leaves.

What a nice park. Plenty of full access paths, nice big pavilion. Ample amount of picnic tables. Great place for a little walk and see some nature so close to home. Oh! And its very clean.

Gorgeous park! Wonderful place for a picnic & to bring the dogs. Perfect for a bike ride and/or a nice hike.

Nice trails to walk in the woods. They get quite muddy and have big puddles of water so make sure you go after its been dry for a few days

Trails are not cut as clearly as they could be, but a very pleasant atmosphere. Really enjoyed that there are different sized walking loops.

Nice quiet park, with easy access fishing, and a big wooded area with lots of big tall old trees. Great trails and paths to walk, along with nice grassy lawns to picnic or play in. Theres restrooms, and a cool pavilion.

Had a wonderful time at this park! The trails are improved and the facilities are well maintained. Didn’t see much of a Dylan’s though which was puzzling! Overall it is definitely a place I’ll come back to and I can’t wait to see it in the winter time!

Not as big as Rocky River Reservation, but this place does have some nice scenic forest to look at. Bunn Lake is nice for fishing, but the loop around the lake isnt even 1 mile. So stay on Barton road footpath if youre a runner.

The Bradley Woods Reservation has a wonderful mixture of paved and earthen trails along with picnic tables and rest rooms.

Very beautiful place. So glad we decided to check it out. Pretty trails and good spot for some fun fishing.

I attended a picnic at the Codrington shelter area. Its a nice picnic area, with a large covered shelter, picnic tables, and a grill under the shelter, fire pit, water fountain/spigot with dog bowl, and a playground area. Mosquitoes are plentiful.

Nice little park but the fishing is getting worse and worse, looks like the lake is filling in.

We got takeout from Crocker Park and brought it here to eat (since Crocker Park was a zoo).We came to the picnic area. The pavilion was roped off, Im assuming to discourage large gatherings during Covid-19.Luckily, there were plenty of picnic tables in the shade near the pavilion in the shade.There were several other cars in the parking lot, but there was no one to be seen around where we were eating.I cant comment on the trails in the park, but this is a great place to enjoy a socially distanced meal!

Beautiful place! I suggest waterproof shoes for some of the trails. There is lots of wildlife. There are some gravel/dirt trails and many picnic tables.

This park is lovely. Loved the trails and the beautiful encounter we had with a barred owl.

There are a few loop trails ranging between .5 - 1 mile in length. The place has a bit if history l, is unique in that it is a preserved swamp land and former rock quarry. Great for picnics, walking the dog or just recharging your spirits.

Stopped here at sunrise, it is a beautiful and well-kept little park. There is a lot of wildlife: in the hour I spent there I saw geese, ducks, deer, frogs, and lots of birds. For kids there are swings, but otherwise its mainly the walking trail and nature to enjoy.

Excellent example of a swamp forest. Birds seen here include Great Blue heron, veery, wood thrush, rose-breasted grosbeak white-breasted nuthatch, and chickadee. There is a wonderful pavilion.

Fun but full of bugs

Incredible unkempt trail leading deep into the woods. Mud and fallen trees in the trail so wear supportive shoes! Beautiful pin oak forest feels far away from city life.

So muddy and trails not well marked. I have tried this place 3-4 times. Will never go back.

Joined friends at this park for a picnic in between all the rain we have had lately. Several trails to walk, viewed the wildlife and got me some fresh air. Not sure why some people gave low review because of areas-trails being muddy, especially since its a park, which has received much rain just like our backyards! If youre afraid of getting your shoes muddy or wet then the solution is to find yourself a concrete parking lot to walk around. Bradley Woods Reservation is just an overall beautiful place to spend the day at with family or friends or relax at in the evening. Take the dog for a walk and breathe in the fresh air and site.

Every year for the past 6 years or so maybe longer my Compeer group has held our annual summer party their. My family held my Dads 60th birthday party their a long time ago. I remember climbing one of trees as a kid once. I love walking the path around the I guess you would call it either a pond or a mini lake. It is a nice place. They have electrical outlets. The grills are maintained very well. It is dog friendly. I love going there.

It had rained pretty much all day, but I still went and walked around. Glad I did, I enjoyed my time there tremendously :)))

It is a nice little park. Very wet, but it has a fun pond.

Great place to hike with my Shepherd.

Small but beautiful. A hidden little west side area thats heavily wooded and has a wonderful pond to walk around. But its not for good for a long time outdoors. Youll see all there is within an hour but can spend plenty more time cooking out or hanging with your family/friends if you just want to enjoy a park space.

What happened? The ponds are stagnant with algae all on the top. Looks like most of it is drying up and stinks. Nothing like it was years ago :(

Its a beautiful open area with a few swings. The trails are fair and moderate to hike, you want peaceful, its there. A nice big pavilion and good parking spaces. Pet friendly too

Great CLE Metro Park for a quick run.

Smaller installation of the Metroparks System, charming nonetheless.Good pavilion with electric access, Bunn Lake, and several loops through woods. Its a nice little secret if you happen to be in the area.

Great park for dog walking. Its big enough to visit multiple times and not go the same way twice. Lots of trees to jump over, small lake for drinks, one of my dogs caught a mouse. They loved it.

Very scenic and serene.

Used to visit this park all the time when I was younger and spend many hours walking the trails. Autumn is a great time to visit when the trees are turning colors. Its a nice, quiet park with great walking trails.

I love the Cleveland Metroparks. The Bradley Woods Reservation is small by other reservation standards, but its well equipped with a large pond and a nice walking trail that wraps around a pond. Theres also a couple hiking trails through the woods. A few docks jut out from the walking path around the pond into the pond and make for quiet places to sit and relax. The Bradley Woods pavilion is also situated in a wide open area perfect for family get togethers, with built in grills and plenty of space for kids to play. Theres plenty of parking here too.

Amazing no mosquitoes

This was our first experience at Bradley Woods Reservation. The Bunns Lake Loop trail was nice, but the Quarry Loop Trail was hard to find. Without the help of a staff member we flagged down we would never have found it, even with a map in hand.One of the big disappointments of the experience were with the bathroom facilities in the picnic area. They consist of a toilet seat over a hole, and no sink or other means to wash your hands. If youre planning a picnic, plan on bringing sanitary wipes with you.

Great spot for plant hunting. Bad spot for mosquitos. But thats to be expected of a swamp forest.
