Such a beautiful area to go for a light hike. I took my clients here for their engagement photo session and it was so pretty. Even though a lot of the plant life was brown it still looked amazing. I love the convenient access as well!

Very nice trail with a lot of different pathways. The nice thing is, you can choose the difficulty. Go straight up the hill for a strenuous, challenging hike, or neander down the gently curving path down the valley and eventually reach Kanan road, or go up the way to the reservoir.PS- this trail recently burned (November 2018) so the whole hillside is blackened. Now open for hikes and looks very nice with the greenery coming back in again.

The trail has tons of trash, has only a few good vistas

There is a long trail to a waterfall with a tree house on the way which is an awesome place to rest

Great place to relax with beatiful mountain top views, but if you came here for a lake, forget it, its gated all over.
