A lovely little theater. Very old school, but nice. The theater was clean and the popcorn was good. I love independent and foreign films, and this is a great place to see them.

Old and a little uncomfortable... Maybe the elderly patrons should be reminded to mute their phones or be asked to leave them in their cars so that there are not so many disruptions during the movie. They should also be reminded not to answer their phones and carry on conversations during the movie.

The Vintage Twin (s) - While the Regency WLV may not be the fanciest theater in town its like the best little book shoppe - in other words, small, quaint but gentile. You actually go in and buy your ticket if no one is at the window at the candy/popcorn counter, and are greeted by two nice concession/ushers. The movies are usually a good selection, indie films - this week it was Pavarotti, The Maiden & Wild Rose. Great fresh popcorn, too! The Maiden was excellent and the sweet touch of a mint handed to you with a grazie on the way out is gentile! Only reason for four stars - the bathroom wait for the ladies is a little discouraging -- too small area to line up inside, so some modifications and/or modernization should be done -- or hey, novel idea -- open up the mens room to both genders. Just a thought. . . but do yourselves a favor and support the Regency WVL and enjoy remarkable Pavarotti and The Maiden. (sorry I didnt get to Wild Rose)

This is nice little theatre in a nice area. Its located in a cozy shopping center that houses my favorite Chinese restaurant, Lakeview Garden. Its a small theater with two screens and if you get tired of Marvel Comics movies this is where you come. Movies for grownups. I dont know what you call it these days. Used to be arthouse movies, I guess. All the films that may not get a big enough audience for the multiplex. They have the standard movie snacks & regular seats. The parking is easy & close by. And very convenient to have dinner at the Chinese restaurant before the movie. During the week & Sunday theres only one showing in the evening. On Sat. & Sun theres also a late show.

Older theatre in need of new seats but sounds great. They play different movies than the mainstream which is refreshing. Kind of tired of 41 years of Star Wars, arent you?

The Twin is a great movie theater in Westlake Village. It has a neighborhood feel, and comes across non-corporate, despite being owned by a large company. The mostly indie movies are projected digitally, with both the picture and sound being high quality. You will see Oscar contenders here. The small concessions stand has interesting selections, like edamame, and has excellent popcorn with real butter. The theaters are clean, and they put the armrests up between every movie. The mostly young staff are friendly and efficient. On the other hand, the bathrooms are very small, but clean. Also, as of June 2015, they need to improve their online ticketing. Overall though, a very good place to see films.

The Twin is small and old, but it has character. They also will run quite a few movies that you wont find further down the road. Its like a two screen Laemmle.

Its nice to have independent movies nearby my home. Nothing spectacular about the 70s era theater, but If this one closes, Conejo Valley denizens will have to drive down to Encino to see something that isnt made by Marvel or feature a teenage wizard.

That two yr old review is waaay outdated --new projectors now & a far better experience--and it always did show -still does-excellent film selections -often less publicized foreign ones that are otherwise hard to find on the large screen & save the lengthy drive to WLA/Hollywood where last few art-film houses persist. The adjacent Chinese Restaurant is very good & If you have trouble with often full parking go across Agoura Rd to large open lot behind the medical offices,
