Its really too small of a stage to fit a full wind symphony. The stage goes in when it needs to flare out, and theyre talking about shortening it further in the planned upcoming renovations to Parenzo Hall. This stage is perfect for speaking events or small plays, but large musical ensembles have a real issue fitting in to the space provided. Hopefully this will be taken into account during the upcoming renovations, and they will work with the music department to fit the only large performance hall to one of the two departments who need a large performance hall. Or maybe the university would decide to use the excess land behind the Dower center to build a proper musical performance venue, thats also an idea.
Great local school.
