My son(CB) isn’t a member of SP, but he is currently doing winter training with them at Resolute. I’m very pleased with the staff and the training they are providing him. It was a much more reasonably priced and something I could afford to help him continue touches over the winter and be ready for spring. Thanks to the staff for allowing players outside of SP to participate!

Exceptional soccer academy. I highly recommend the program to all. I will emphasize the quality and long-term benefits rather than short-term gain, with an age-appropriate development process. The dynamic of training different from others soccer programs with the very positive environment provided by coaches.

Weve had a wonderful experience with SP with both our sons. Great coaching, emphasis on working together as a team and having fun. Cant imagine playing for any other team.

First, the only reason I am giving them a 1 is because google makes it mandatory to review. This organization is no soccer academy, its a money ripping vulture masquerading as a soccer school. 3 weeks ago, I took the plunge to sign my 5 year old for a position that went against everything I believe about soccer ( SP offered my son who is 5, going on 6 at the end of the year, a spot in their U8 team, I went to them and told them that I am not comfortable with a 5 year old playing with kids who are a year or two older than him. But the coach was no, he is playing with kids who are actually 7 not 8, still I reluctantly signed him up because my husband wanted to try it.) two days after I gave SP a check and an application, we ran into some unexpected family emergency, I sent them an email that we actually cant play this season, my husband is leaving for 3 months and I am starting a job that will requires a 16 weeks training, SP never replied to that email, I called and reached someone on the phone, she said shell have the coach call me but she didnt even ask for my phone number. I knew right away that these people have no intention to give me back my $245 that I paid for the registration. The next day, I called them again the same lady picked up and this time I gave her my phone number. After, 3 attempts to reach SP, while they were still making their rooster, to let them know that I am no longer interested in their position, no one returned my email nor my calls. Last week, I checked my account and the check was deposited. Now that the money is in their account, I called them they picked up to tell me its too bad because they already cashed the check and they dont refund.I had a bad vibe the moment I walked into their try out fields. I have 2 older boys who have played no sport but soccer, my husband and I grew up playing soccer oversea, I have never seen this kind of fake practice.Soccer is a beautiful game, and everywhere around the world people dont pay thousands of dollars to play it. these people are nothing but rip off. For parents who want their kids to learn the game Ill tell you sign them up for recreation leagues and leave the kids alone with the ball. soccer is no elite sport like us soccer coaches would like you to believe. its like basketball, football, and baseball. Kids around the world just get up and play tricks with the balls. have you ever wondered why these soccer academies have not produced a decent international player for the 20 plus year they have been operating like their counterparts in south America, Africa, or Europe? well, the reason is simple, its because their coaches actually try to grow talent not a bank account. Any way if your kids are showing some promise hire a coach to help them learn discipline, but by no means should you take them to these so called soccer academies, theyll take your money and your kids wont learn anything worth learning about soccer.
