I went to the ball field and on the path, both were nice and seem to get used often.

Used to go here when I was younger. I have some friends that have been there recently to get some much needed help with food items from the pantry here

We do love it here. I think the only thing that makes me less at ease is when they full of people waiting in line for the food bank.We only use the Rec Center for the gym. Oh, and people who do use the gym have issues with putting free weights back. We know youre not lazy if youre at the gym. Be courteous.

Lots of great activities for you to get your kids involved in.

Cute little pool not too crowded, but the water could be much cooler. I think the temperature is too warm. But the price is right at $2 per person and it closes at 8pm so we can run over after dinner for a family swim.

Nice, neighborhood hang out for kids.Food pantry here, is very helpful.

They allowed my young niece and I to play racquetball!:) It was great fun!

The Wi-Fi is a bit slow yet everything else in the place is priced very well. The workers were on point about info needed. Also there is a food bank there and all the places that are resource for any assistance needed. They got weight rooms basketball courts swimming pool foosball tables and all that stuff to keep yourself entertained in a healthy way AA meetings excetera

It is okay for what you can do at the current time which is mostly sit on the lawn

We come here for junior jazz every year. They dont always have good coaches or professional coaches but they try. We keep coming back so its not that bad.

Awesome selection of great programs. Unfortunately girls basketball was canceled do to lack of participants but signed up for two different age dance classes for my girls. My 3 year old smiled the while hour, shes been waiting for weeks for this. But great helpful staff. Definitely doing more programs in the future

Overlooked in line for family with kids with no shoes on. Told we couldnt get service because of service animal. Waited for an exorbitant amount of time, dispite a plethora of workers. Very grateful for the food, for my veteran family member, but very annoyed.

Look the place is nice but the court isnt, dusty and only gets fully cleaned every month. And when I was signing up for basketball THEY SIGNED ME TO SOCCER LIKE WHO DOES THAT. The refs for basketball suck too

This food bank is the best for food boxes. They hive out food that lasts about 3 weeks easy. Just if you are low on food or struggling they help .

Its a great place to go. As long as you can handle kids running around, youll like it. The gym itself is kid free. But out in the lobby and basketball court Ive seen kids. So if kids are an issue for you I would avoid it.

My wife and I are here each week and it is always a pleasure. Ive been to many rec centers, this one is a little farther than some from home bit its worth the journey. There is a good amount of equipment to utilize and its usually quite and not crowded. The staff stands out above all theyre very friendly and welcoming especially Arthur at the front desk.

This is a old but cheap public recreation center with a lot of different features. This is one of the few recreation center with racquetball courts and although somewhat run down, a $4 entrance fee and free rentals make it worth it. The fitness gym is small but its nice to support the public facility and pay a low price.

This is hands-down the cleanest Rec Center Ive ever walked into

It is a nice community center on Redwood in West Valley always full of charitable activities with friendly volunteers. From community assistance for emergency food distribution directly to hungry household members, head start programs, family oriented fun activities and recreational resources for families to enjoy.

The pool is clean and I like how areas of shadow are very limited... Took two stars off for the bathrooms and showers that would benefit from a makeover and some cleaning.

Have been going here since I think 2001. I mainly go to swim in the summer and its always a blast. the other Rec activities are just as good and the staff has been superb whenever Ive gone. Its no paradise but it is what its suppose to be a Recreation center.

This place is pretty great. There are racquetball courts and weights and it is pretty cheap. Its kind of old and run down but if youre looking for a gym for the best price this place is awesome. It closes kind of early is the only downside.

Decent program. But the problem is, the coordinator says to email or call her with any issues of scheduling and I do twice, once Friday and again on a Monday. No response. What a dissapointment.

They would of gotten a 5 star but the Hispanic lady that is either a volunteer or worker that was outside she is very rude and very snotty to us . We are new people that went there today and I DO NOT need to be treated the way I was . If she has issues then maybe she needs to go elsewhere .

If you play racquetball, you can get a court here any time outside of scheduled league play. The staff are pleasant folks and the price is super reasonable.

I have been to other recreation centers in salt lake county. This one seems newer but not necessarily better. The lifting area has ampule free weights but it is kind of congested. During the evening time gym gets busy and people are hovering over machines. My recommendation to the management will be spread all of the lifting machine and weights spread over the second floor and add more machines as well.

I like this place. Its quiet, well taken care of and also has a food bank there.

Horrible run soccer league for my ten year old!!! No referees that have any idea what there doing. Im so ashamed of how the coordinator acted i will never bring my son back to such a joke!!! he deserves so much better! keep your registration fee and buy some real referees and a coordinator!
