Went in to sell a used firearm. Received a very fair offer. Had it ended there, things would be just fine. However, the customer service I received far exceeded just fine. I was shown cool guns just for the sake of showing me, I was given tips of where to get good deals on parts, I even found some 300 blackout mags (super hard to get right now) & they werent overpriced. In fact, they went as far as to give me a discount for buying em all. Cant recommend this place enough, will definitely be going back when I need more gun stuff.

It was a pleasure shopping here. They didnt ignore and try to rush me to make a purchase. They have good deals and a great selection of big boy toys to choose from.I would definitely be looking for more deals in here again.

If I were to sum up my experience with American Pawn and Jewelry, I would put it this way: amazing customer service from start to finish! Chris was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, ultra communicative and extremely patient throughout our entire business transaction - start to finish. He’s one of those guys who clearly knows his stuff but never tries too hard to use that knowledge to impress or pressure. I knew I was in good hands from the moment we started speaking. Super guy. Very disappointed. I had pawned a firearm due to health issues. Had 100% intentions on picking up the firearm. A rep from the company stated that “ we will automatically text you with plenty of time before any payments are due or default of the firearm ever happens.” the shop called once and took a Payment over the phone. At which time I asked will I be texted the next time or called. Both never happened. I thoroughly went through my call log and no calls were made and never received a text. I was advised that the firearm defaulted on the 18th of April. I am a super high risk person to get COVID-19. First responder at ground zero with respiratory issues and a cancer survivor with a compromised immune system. To go out after I was put on quarantine by my Doctor would be potentially deadly. I guess it’s out of there inventory and gone forever. If you offer a service to remind which is an excellent idea.If it actually happened. Or does it build a false sense of security for first time pawn/loan customers? Bottom line this just sucks and that firearm had sentimental value and was never fired. Just sucks. Sorry !!!

Speechless...go on offer up. They have aDaiwa shock 3000B reel combo advertised for $155.00 that cost 19.99 new. They have a star conventional rid with roller guides for $499.00....cost is $149.00 new. A penn 650ss old garbage worth 50 on ebay...asking 375! All of their stuff is like this. STAY CLEAR!! If this isnt a pathetic attempt to RIP off a customer I dont know what is. Type in American pawn and jewelry on offer up smd see for yourself. Guys should be ashamed.

I absolutely could not have asked for better service, and the prices are great too!Gary designed my wedding band for me, and it turned out gorgeous! It was originally my great grandmothers ring, so it had a lot of sentimental value. However, I wasnt very fond of the actual look or style of the ring. Gary transformed it into a timeless, one of a kind piece that I will cherish forever! I have received so many compliments on it, and I almost dont want to tell them that my secret weapon is the best jeweler in town :)Dont pass this place up!!!

The folks at American Jewelry and Gun are very professional and offer honest service and products at very competitive prices. Their on site watch and jewelry service is particularly convenient as most times you can get service right on the spot- and the clean and safe store gives you the time to shop at your pace -getting your questions answered without a sales pitch. I highly recommend putting Gary and the crew on your next shopping trip!

In my limited experience with this establishment (visited store once, also visited their booth at a gun show) my feelings are that the staff is generally friendly and helpful. The other side of the coin is that, as regards their firearms, I feel they are overpriced (I cant speak to the jewelry part as I have not shopped the jewelry portion). At the gun show they tried to sell me a used firearm for more than some outlets sell the exact same firearm brand new. We haggled and in the end I just walked away and purchased it from another booth, new, for less than they wanted used. I doubt this will always be the case and I may have just hit on an item they werent well informed about but as a result I now avoid their booth. Like I said, the people seemed pretty decent though.

Inconsistent policies...purchased a gun that I couldnt take because the screening process was delayed (I have my permit) I wanted to show a local business my good faith by paying for the gun even though I couldnt take it home. Had a financial matter to handle several days later that was unexpected they first said no refund, told them it didnt stipulate on receipt they said 25% restocking fee even though they had the gun in their possession! Very disappointing experience...I understand asking for a refund didnt make them happy and it wasnt my intentions but hey things happen...either way they were making up policies as they went along with no concern for being fair..I could have understood a fee of some sort, but 25%. I wont be back..bad way to do business considering I bought a lot of ammo too

Recently purchased a millennium g2 firearm, Great Price! And the gentleman who helped me was super knowledgable and extremely helpful in ensuring I left with the correct firearm that fit my level of experience and skill. Im grateful for their honest opinion and straightforward answers, Im not looking to make a friend when shopping for a firearm, I want someone knowledgable and who will be straightforward on what works, what doesnt and why. Went up there with a ring i bought over a 1000 and they told me the most i can get is 75 from any pawn shop around here. Went to another and got 800 and they were willing to give more.

I am a retired jeweler. I have been going to American Jewelry & Gun for over 20 years and I was happy to see that they have moved to a larger and brighter location on Military Trail & Southern Blvd. Garry is a very experienced jeweler and can make or get you anything you can imagine. I have my Rolex watch serviced and all of my jewelry repairs done there. His prices on jewelry cant be beat. I also bought a few guns and ammo at the store. I priced around and could not find a better deal. His store is beautiful with a large selection of guns and rifles and security is top of the line and you will feel safe while you shop.

Today was the first time that I had the opportunity to go to American Jewelry & Gun. I have to say, it was a complete pleasure. It is very rare today to come across any place of business that still understands what customer service is. I was greeted at the door and was helped in due to the fact that I am handicapped. I was spoken to in a clear and understanding way. The very first thing that happened was the young man asked me if he could get me something to sit on. I told the young man what I was there for and he helped me from there. I was there to sell two guns that had been sitting around for about 15+ years. I had previously done some research on the value of them before I came in to see if they would buy them. They were extremely fair in their offer. So fair that I didnt even complain or ask for more. I just took what he offered. I had been to another place about a week earlier and ended up walking out due to the fact that they were so so off it their offer. They were extremely low and I do have the feeling that they thought that I probably had no idea nor did I do any checking before I came to them. The other place treated me like I was an idiot and just danced around the answers to the questions that I had. American Jewelry & Gun was the total opposite. They thanked me for coming in several times for coming in and totally answered every question that I asked them. They also said that when I was ready for the next step, come back and they would do their best to help me. There was absolutely no hard sell involved. They were fair and I am sure will be fair again when I go back. Very nice experience, since I had never done anything like this before. Plus the two men that I dealt with made it easy for me. I was also helped out the door and was made sure that I was able to get to the car in the rain with no trouble.Again I was very pleased with my first visit today and I certainly would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. I also would not hesitate to come back to this place again.Thank you guys! It was a pleasure.

Firearm prices are way too steep. The staff wont hesitate to belittle you. Customer service is lacking and definitely not the friendliest people to buy from.

Terrible customer service after their owner died. Will not be coming back. If yall dont want to run the business, just go ahead and shut down.
