I actually enjoyed the theater better with the COVID protocols in place. It was not overcrowded and social distancing was in place from beginning to end. The environment felt comfortable and safe. The food was tasty.

Even tho we are slowly trying to recover from the pandemic, i still do go to the theater because I genuinely love the movie theater experience. The service and atmosphere here has drastically improved.

This theater is definitely a comfortable and cozy place to watch all your favorite movies. You can purchase your tickets online ahead of time for the exact seats you prefer. No need to fight for your seats. The menu is not the typical theater food. It includes higher end items and spirits. I encourage you to show up early and take advantage of the small bar area they provide to start off the evening with a drink or too to help yourself relax and really enjoy the experience like never before.

Seats were comfortable. I thought the experience was all right with the dine in theater. the burger was actually good especially considering its not a restaurant but it was ~$15. the person taking the order though had a lot of trouble. I needed to repeat myself a number of times and in the end it still wasnt totally right. then my friend didnt get her drink until much later, only after she asked about it. during the movie, Im sure the guy was well intentioned but he kept coming to ask if we needed anything. if we did, we would have rung the Bell and standing in front, blocking our view during a crazy moment took away from the movie experience. there are also these lights on the table that arent unable up be turned off which does have a negative effect on the movie experience. really this theater should be only if you want to dine in... dont come if youre not eating bc it would take away from the movie experience. but overall the theater itself was not bad. there is a small waiting area which you probably will have to wait in bc they have the movies back to back and dont let you go into the theater area before 10-15 minutes before the movie time.

Used the AMC app to purchase the tickets, show the purchase on your phone and then go to your chosen seats. Very convenient and easy. Ample parking. You order when you are seated by pressing the call button. Items are brought to you. Seats are comfortable and recline to an almost lay flat position. Restroom was clean. A good experience.

Great theater with larger, more comfortable seats and reasonably priced food. They have servers that will take your order and bring the food to your seat. Seat numbers are assigned so you dont have to worry about bad seats if you buy your tickets online ahead of time. There is still the usual issues of lots of previews and people that talk but this is one of the best theaters in the area.

The movie theater is great, the snack service was excellent even though we had the last show of the night. Will definitely go back again. Didnt get a chance to actually try there food only snacks but from what I saw everything looked amazing.

I have been to this theatre many times. Everything is just adequate. Nothing special. The staff is... a forced friendly. You know when you are friendly because you don’t want to get fired. The bathroom is not the cleanest, just ok. Every time I go I have to ask them to wipe down our table as there is normally sticky stuff or food remnants behind.

Great service, friendly staff, clean theatre. But, I don’t enjoy AMC theaters anymore. I rather watch a movie from home, the experience isn’t even special. I think AMC has been very slow at adapting to the consumer market

Kids loved it. I Appreciate the fact that you can select your seats prior to arriving. I will suggest however that they make sure that all seats are working especially given the fact that because the seats are assigned that you cant just get up and move to another for a movie thats sold out. Unfortunately that was my issue with my visit here. One of the seats I reserved couldnt recline and I was just stuck with it as the theater was completely sold out. Staff was courteous.

A friend and I found ourselves with nothing to do on Saturday September 9th, 2019 so we decided to catch a movie. Specifically, the new Terminator movie. Instead of buying our tickets online, we were in the area so we walked in and attempted to buy our tickets from the kiosks. I had a bit of trouble with the transaction but eventually I got my ticket. My friend had a few more problems and this message (see the photo) appeared after she swiped her card so we got a little concerned. Then a transaction cancelled messages appeared. Then suddenly the screen changed back to the welcome screen. So we went to customer service showed them the photo on my phone and were told it does that sometimes but they will just print her ticket. Of course they took her card and swiped it again.Now a week later and my friend is trying to dispute two tickets she never used for that same night. Why would she buy 3 tickets for the same seat for the same 6:40 show? Why would the machine allow it? And why arent the machines linked with the customer service register inside the lobby to avoid this?

Today was my first time visiting this location. Movie sound & picture was great. Ordered a bowl of salmon & shrimp with Asian vegetables and a peach raspberry ice tea. Servings were generous. Service was polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Credit cards accepted. Chairs were able to put you feet up, if you desired. I would return here again. Highly recommend to others. Free outdoor parking.

I love the layout style of the theater. Definitely makes the movie experience enjoyable. At this location the staff was not professional. I had to renew my membership for my gold premier card, staff member stated my account was fine and I did not need to renew. About a week later my account was downgraded and I try to resolve issue but staff was unwilling to help.

Im over 55 but didnt get a senior citizens rate as the age is now 60!!!!!! Looks like I have to wait a few more years. But, the theater for the 3:30 show was quaint! We watched the movie without disturbance. Will come again and try the menu for done in!

The upgrades to this theater are really nice compared to the last time we went a little over a year ago. I didnt give 5 stars because the service could be better...I told my waitress I wanted a ginger ale and she never brought it, I asked two other servers for one before someone finally brought it up.

Pretty good spot to catch a flick and eat. I came here with my friend as part of her birthday celebration. It was our first time coming here so we werent sure where to go or what to do. We were able to get the concierge to guide us by telling us to go back outside (the glass doors) to order the tickets ourselves with the help of an employee. We got our tickets and had to wait for about 20mins for our movie to start. The wait time wasnt bad because customers could order a little drink at the bar. My friend was the designated driver so we remained sober and just sat in the comfy seating area. We went to see Crawl which was chock full of suspense. When it was closer to movie time, we were able to sit in our reserved seats and wait a short time for the waiter/server. The sampler platter was delicious but my food plate was...meh. Part of the grains had become almost burnt and stuck together so it was tough. Anyway, our food and drinks came out pretty quickly. Also, wished there were healthier food options.

It was my first time going to a AMC Dine-in Theater and it was an okay experience. If it’s your first time going to a AMC Dine in theater then definitely experience it for yourself. However, I won’t do it again. The movie was good, the chair was comfy, and the food was okay. But I rather buy food in a restaurant and then go to the movies. You’ll save a lot of money and also have a better meal. I like the idea, but AMC loves to overprice their items.

Nice place. Food quality is good. Service is good. Your going to pay but still nice. Dinner for 4 and a $10 bottle of Dogfish IPA and your at about $80 before tip.

Nice theatre, nice waiters. You press a button and your waiter comes to take your order. You can also enjoy drinks from the bar, all while enjoying your movie. A little pricey, but worth it!

I have found my full service theater home! Absolutely fantastic experience from the second I walked in. Arrived 30 min before to make sure there was plenty of time so I grabbed a drink at the bar. Went to the theater about 10 min before the movie started, pressed the button to request a waitress and one arrived within 2 min. Ordered 2 more drinks and an appetizer and they even held the second drink and didnt bring it until I was ready. The appetizer arrived shortly after the previews started. It was very tasty but small considering the price. Overall, excellent service, not too high prices, a true full service theater. Seats were comfortable and I had a fantastic time!

I like this place because of the recliner seats and the dine-in service while watching the movie. However, I went the day after Valentines Day and the service was very poor. My date didnt get his food order until almost the end of the movie! They need a better wait staff.

Sit down, relax and have a drink before the movie starts. Watch an awesome movie in total relaxation mode while snacking on your dine-in food. Great service by the way

I actually like this dine in theater except it could use some minor repairs to their seated tray tables and maybe more in service to the team members on how the consumer can redeem their points towards food credit. (Food/drinks were good/reasonable for the movies), Otherwise the chairs are large comfortable and recline for an all around great experience minus the tray table misalignment.

Omg we had a wonderful night with yummy margaritas that were actually deliciously made and with a generous amount of alcohol... love this place... food plus drinks plus comfy seating while watching a movie is always a plus lol

Nice area where around you can have fun and eatThis move theatre has a great service of food inside and outside.The weathers are a little slow but it’s worth to try it.Just sit and watch the movie while you are eating an amazing burger!The sits are really comfortable and the screen is really big perfect for the lay down position.

If I had the ability to give a negative rating I would. First off, seats and table were covered in mayo. When brought to attention, they were still covered in mayo. Secondly, it was opening night for birds of prey, and you might as well have played the movie on mute, couldnt here a damn thing. They were kind enough to give us comp tickets, but the experience was horrendous. I wont even discuss the bathrooms....Anyway, never ever again will I come back to this theatre.....disgusted!

It was nice 2 try something different. I had never been to a dine-in theatre before. The food portions were large and the staff was nice.

I came here yesterday to watch the joker, and although the seats were comfortable, the service that my friend and I received was horrible. When I arrived, I ordered a fudge brownie Sunday. While waiting, we decided that we’d order appetizers as well. Luckily we did not, because our waiter disappeared for about an hour. I had to wave down the attention of another server to ask about the dessert that I never received. And once my server finally appeared and I asked about the Brownie, she leaves to check on it for another 15 minutes, and ends in telling me that it was sent to another table earlier, and they sent it back. So they never even bothered to figure out whose it was. And I was told that the kitchen was now closed. The server then apologizes and says “I will take it off of the bill”. Meanwhile, that was the only item we were even able to order. So we left that theatre very hungry.. First and last time coming to a dine in theatre.

Service wasnt so great when you get inside the theater room itself maybe it could of been just my server. He wouldnt take our empty cups so we can have more room on the table or anything we was done with. The drinks & food are great especially the brisket mac n cheese or the spicy jalapeno burger too. This place use to be really great with they service yrs ago I dont what happen now.

I have been calling the theater to see what time a certain showing ended and an employee answered the phone and put me on hold for a while. Then when I called back no one answered the phone. Bad customer service.

I love this theater concept. The reclining chairs are so relaxing. Food is a bit over priced with small portions and the staff takes too long to service you but rush you to pay while you’re trying to enjoy the movie.

The quality has gone down over the years mainly in service. We waited 45 mins for someone to just take our order, so well into the movie. It took us that long to even get a glass of water. I was parched!!! And then another long wait for the food. My husband secifically said no bacon on his flatbread due to dietary restrictions, but of course it came with bacon. By the time we waited for the correct order to come out, the movie was almost over.

I had a really good fine in experience with this movie theater. The service was really nice and the movies are very good.

It was my second time there, I had a great time there with my twin boys, I just had 1 disappointing thing happen with my service dining but I wont put it on blast here!

Movie was great....food was blah... especially for they prices. I will try to get there earlier next time so I can order before the movie starts as opposed to trying to see menu in the dark.

It was a pretty decent AMC, however I am not a fan of the dine-in movie theater. It was too much noise and movement for my personality. If you dont mind a dim set of lights all around and people walking back and forth then I would absolutely recommend it for you!

I’m literally here as I write this review and I have been waiting for 1 drink that I ordered over 30 minutes ago. My date’s drink arrived and I’m still waiting for mine as I see other people’s drinks being delivered. I was told that the bar has been backed up but my 1 little drink has not made its way to me. It’s not that busy in here as it’s past midnight. This is ridiculous! I believe the movie is half way through.

The service needs improvement they brought my friend his drink 5 minutes after ordering and mine about 20 minutes after ordering it was warm, both drinks ordered at the same time. Oh and my table tray wouldnt stay in the position I put it in, it kept sliding out from in front of me. On a positive note the food was very good we kept passing our plates back and forth to one another . We made the best of the nigth but NEVER going back simply because no one tried to make what could have been a easy fix better and they knew but didnt care.

This place used to be a great experience to go and see a movie, unfortunately it didn’t stand the test of time. Nowadays it is a filthy space, with terrible food and service. Everything that you touch is sticky and when the lights come up at the end you can see the poor cleaning job around you. Not coming back again and I hope if you are reading this take the advice and save yourself from a bad experience.

Good place to see a movie if you want to drink alcohol and eat food while you watch. The dine in movie concept is cool, but eating in the dark involves a little bit of risk taking. As with every movie theater, everything is more expensive than it should be. Service can be a little weird at times but its not a dealbreaker. Seats in auditorium #3 are way more comfortable than the ones in #9, so if you somehow have a choice, go for #3. Good popcorn.

The movie was good. The food is a NO GO, everything was overly salty. Service is ok. The theater is nice, chairs were comfy.

It is a big chain movie theater so dont expect anything special. But pretty cool they will bring you food and booze while you watch a movie. Service is almost always slow and grumpy (with rare exception) but if you keep your expectations low it will be fun. Food is just okay - its more about the novelty of the experience.

Self-service kiosk didnt work and i lost my seats, unable to pay with the AMC gift card.I approached the customer service counter, there are two lanes, one for regular clients and the other one for premeier members. I am a premier member but it didnt make a difference, i had to wait for 5 familes from the regular line to finish their transaction to be finally called by the customer service representative who wasnt friendly at all.

Food and service markedly below that of the bridgewater location. Staff seems bothered by all customer interactions. In addition, have ordered the same meal in both locations and this location uses a different recipe. Overall the food is below average at best.

The more convenient way to see a movie nowadays. For getting a reserved and comfortable seat, ticket prices are not much more than a standard movie theater. The food has some highlights (try the Royal Burger), but if youre looking for a comparison to other places its in general like going to a somewhat better chain restaurant. Theaters are clean, but sometimes the bathrooms level of cleanliness leaves something to be desired.

Always a good experience. Love the assigned seats very comfortable. Food bill can get a little pricey for what you are getting.

One star is for the building up keep. The bathroom is never kept up to par. It always seems like anywhere in the building is not taken care of. Ive never ordered food here and I never will. If you cant keep your bathroom clean I highly doubt the kitchen is clean. I give staff all five stars because theyre always nice. I just wish that management would but some pride into their theater.

Comfortable reclining seats you can pick your seats prior to entering the room which is great so you know you always have a spot. Food and alcoholic / non alcoholic beverages are sold. Soft pretzels are my favorite. French fries are very good. Good service. Fun place to go for a night out !

So the staff do work hard. I think theyre understaffed a little here. The waiters/waitresses were friendly. The table was a bit sticky but again not sure what the staff have to deal with or timing they have for clean up and again it can get hard if people make a mess. Otherwise the experience was lovely and worked with us considering we ordered quite a bit.

Popcorn comes not even warm..with butter on the side..and tastes like they dumped too much salt on top & none in the middle. They were in the process of no longer selling Fireball. The shot was $10 plus tax, and the bottle was practically empty. I asked them what they were going to do with the half a shot that was left in the bottle and they said either sell it for a full price to someone else..poor unsuspecting Sap.. highway robbery.. or pour it out. Right. I ultimately chose not to purchase a drink at all.

Wait staff seem like they dont want to be there! After having a terrible experience the last time I went this was a bit better... my mother still had to wait at least a half an hour for a condiment to go with her by then cold food, if your charging the kind of prices they are charging than the service should be on point

I like it, as it is the closest movie theater that shows the Met live streams. Comfortable, roomy seats. The food is better than you may think, the drinks are good. Service is generally bad and the toilets are routinely dirty.

Compared to other AMC dine-in locations outside of NJ this has a major cleanliness issue. Bathrooms bins overflowing. Tray tables sticky, tray table in front row was tilted and unbalanced, had to hold it to keep in place while eating. That said A-List is awesome, if youre not all ready sign up what are you doing with your life? This place gives me a chance to drink a cold beer eat and watch a movie so I cant possibly give it 1-star.

Service was much better than last time. Just had popcorn and a stormtrooper icecream drink. Very expensive $22. Movie tix were much reasonable price. $10 for seniors and $13 for adults

Table and floor was sticky from spilled drinks that were not cleaned up throughout the day. Their sandwiches are definitely over priced for the portion size & watered down drinks should be half the price.....

The quality of this theater has really gone down hill. When they first opened, everything was clean and the staff was attentive. As of late, I go and the tables are sticky, there’s popcorn in the seats and the bathrooms are horrible. I am an avid AMC theater goer. I’m a member of the Stubs Premiere program and my children and I make going to the movies a family event. It’s often difficult to find a manager when there is a problem. For instance, I reserved my seats online and when I got there the recliners weren’t working. I was able to let an associate know before the movie started, but no one came. I then had to get up in the middle of the movie to find a manager. On the upside, if the film shuts down in the middle of the movie, they will give you free passes it you ask. I hope they improve over things soon.

I love the new concept being tried here. I am happy to linger instead of simply attending the movie.

Nothing like watching a movie with some good food! The reclining chairs are super comfy and the food is really good. I especially like their flatbreads, burgers and churros! Never disappointing.

Seats are good. Service is good at start of film, less so if it has already started, think it took approx 1hr to get a drink from the time I indicated via button I would like to see a waiter till it was delivered. Food and drinks almost unreasonably expensive too, but its the movies and it has felt like extortion for decades.

Screen, seats and sound is excellent, but I cannot get over people taking food orders in the middle of a movie.

If you want to spend an arm & a leg then this place is for you. 9 bucks for popcorn, POPCORN!!? Super expensive. Not only that, they dont have regular theaters. Why would i want to go to the movies when its supposed to be nice and quiet and have a wait staff come in and take orders during the show. I dont get it.

We went here yesterday for the first time yesterday to see avengers, and we were not satisfied; the food was terrible. The employees took way too long to service us, and on top of that we asked for to go boxes, the guy said okay and no one brought them. We ended up having to get up during the movie after like almost an hour of waiting to get it ourselves. Essex Green has to do better. Great reclining seats though! Very comfy.

It’s a good movie theater but I need to stick to my reclining chairs for people 6’3 and up. Back always hurting after a movie due to lack of seat mobility. It’s my fault I didn’t pick the recliner due to showing availability. An I have the movie pass . Best theater so far with leg room for reclining seats. Better recliner than Clifton and Wayne.

I really like this theater and Im not a huge fan of movie theaters. I like that the seating is comfortable and I can purchase a drink or order food while Im there real quality food. However I gave it at 3 only because in the the couple of times that I have been to this theater they always seem to run out of food one time they didnt have like check in there was another dish and its always something missing or they ran out. I dont know who the manager or assistant manager or purchaser is but I think that they need to be better equipped for however their water is supposed to be managed for the month. Is disappointed when you look at a menu and expect to receive one thing when you get there and then they have absolutely none of the things that you asked for. Another time I went they gave us like the bottom kernels of the popcorn which I thought was odd we had to ask for another bucket of popcorn which we had to wait an extended amount of time for. I will visit this theater again only because there is not another theater local to me that serves food and drinks. However if there was one that I knew about I would certainly take the time to visit the theater.

Simply Wow. This is my first time coming to this AMC Theatre and I havent even watched the movie yet and it is already my favorite. They definitely know how to treat the customers here and provide the atmosphere everyone would enjoy. The setup is ideal; no waiting in line for food - you order and get served from the comfort of your seats!Im 64 and usually find myself fighting for room. Here there is ample leg room.
