Nice course. Limited pro shop, small food area. Over all a nice course for a big outing.

Fantastic country club, easily one of the best in the state. The golf course is regularly rated among the top 10 in the region, and deserves to be ranked even higher. The back nine is commonly referred to as having the best back nine in the state (behind Pine Valley). The front nine, while a bit more scorable, has some great holes as well.The conditions are always pristine with long rough, tightly mown fairways, firm and fast greens.

Challenging track but very slow greens. Cant wait to play it again.

I have seen the managers tell the workers no break for a twelve hour shift ! Poor boys ! I hope they do not stay there forever. What kind of business does that? Very unprofessional

Club knowingly lies and promotes themself online for membership opportunity and then proceeds to make excuses as to what the process is. Very unprofessional board and chair. Avoid at all costs do not be taken for a ride by a club that is only worried about $$$ not the members and experience. Hope people see through this eventually and take their business elsewhere. Terrible club lucky it has a decent golf course. Also lost the greens years back and have had many issues. Avoid!

Ok, its public & cheap; however, the courses are very demanding due to the hilly location. Unfortunately, low maintenance adds to the difficulty too. Extremely hard to get tee time during summers. Few memories with my father means one more star than I should.

By far the best membership and one of the top golf courses in the state. I believe some are mistaken the public course next door as the same . Essex County Country Club is my second home and the members my second family!

Great course...good food

This course is not easy for a high handicap but the views are great and the golf is challenging. The over all course is in great shape, and most of the staff is nice. Work on your game if you want to have a good.

Was here for a seminar. The room was extremely cold (It was winter) as it was not heated prior to our arriving for a 2 hour meeting. Perhaps that was just an oops but disappointing
