Such a positive place. Everyone I have met at this facility was upbeat and friendly. Alot of sunlight coming in and not busy.

What a nice recreation center. I went to watch my 8 year old plat softball, and then took her younger siblings to the playground. Had a blast.

Well run rec sports for kids. Well organized website. Pool is clean. Wish there were more family restrooms as children over 5 must use their gender restroom, I dont want my 7 yr old son changing alone in mens locker room.

Social distance spacing and constant sanitizing safe and clean

Over-crowded, during Jr. Jazz season paying members cannot use the basketball courts, the mens bathroom smells of wet shoes, and there is no clear management. Good thing the membership is for all county rec centers, so there are other options.

I went last night to walk the track which is suppose to be 16 yrs and older.There was a girl of about 8 or 10 playing hide and seek with an adult. Up and down the elevator. In and out of the walkers. Hiding around equipment in the corners. Where is managagement? Oh standing downstairs watching TV! The parking lot is also very dark...not enough lighting.

The indoor pool here is very clean. It includes a separate play area for children who arent ready to swim in deep water, plus a waterslide for slightly older children (though, the slide does have a height limit).Even on busier days, Ive never felt crowded in the indoor pool. However, I have yet to experience the outdoor pool.The indoor basketball court is large, but perfect for both casual and more serious games.

Nice facility, good pricing for activities. Clean and well maintained. Staff is really nice.

Great place to workout and play basketball. They can use more gym amenities and better hours of operation. Swimming is good here for the kids. There monthly pass can stand to be cheaper as well since its like 4 times as much as a gym membership.

Recreation and the 66th century were the best of times and for 8me 8the 8world 8of was 85gonna of you to the point that the court had to take a good time and to see it first thing I heard them and then they were fairly sure you had an idea that was a little bit like that in max you can see the difference of a certain amount in your body will you have the ability and strength and the ability of you in your body that it will be able for the rest and you have a problem with your life in your body that can get in the morning to sleep with your baby in your diet and sleep the next two months and if youre a good day and I will not get it on your bed is that the same process can get a little more of you

Great place to start getting into shape.

My 9 year old boy had Anna as her coach and she was very unorganized and bad coach. She told me specific times the game started then when I got here at the time she told me the game ended. She didn’t have any communication with me. This is the worst recreation center I have ever brought my kids to. I threw away 35 dollars so my son could only play a couple times. She is really racist!

Marked off lanes for lap swimmers makes getting your workout done so easy! The staff is very helpful and friendly. The workout room and gyms are spectacular. The locker rooms are always clean and they actually have hot showers, it is amazing. With a track upstairs, this is the best facility to invest your membership in!

All you need for fitness for a reasonable price. Clean and well kept. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Benches in gym are concrete and very uncomfortable... I just stand.

This place is great, lots of fun for the family. 4/5 stars just because the chlorine in the pools is overwhelming. You can practically choke on it in the air.

Being a West Jordan resident and an avid Aikido practitioner GFFR is the place to go.Great friendly staff and expert instructors.

Nice little facility. Pool had two lanes in for laps and the other lane lines were removed for open swim. Staff was very accommodating of my serious swimmer that needed a clear lane for laps when we arrived. Overall very clean. Not the largest weight room but better than most hotel gyms. The smaller less crowded setup is nice, but dont expect to move big weights or Deadlift.

Great place to come get some exercise, they have different activities like pickle ball on different days the water for the swimming lap is warm Compared to other locations

I really like Gene Fullmer compared to the rest of the county rec centers. The pool is awesome and the kids love to play in the water playground. Their water is much warmer then most of the other swimming centers. The playground is getting worn down though. The work out equipment is in great condition and the basketball court is nice. The outdoor playground around the center is awesome for kids as well.

Great place for kids Birthday parties. Reasonably priced and the kids had a ball.

Nice outdoor pool with clean, simple layout. 1- and 3-meter diving boards without fulcrums. Very short slides. Zero-depth entry and kid area; lap swim area packed with people, lots of grassy areas and some shade. No chairs or seating near pool area; tables available near the locker rooms. A season pass to here gets you into any outdoor Salt Lake county pool, which looks like an awesome deal for locals.

I love this place so much I have been coming here for 5 years all of the workers are really sweet.the pools are great and you can always meet new friends here.

Nice & clean

Went for the pool- was disappointed. The play/swim area is smaller than other rec centers in the area, so you’d think they could keep it a bit warmer. The lifeguard said it was around 82. The kids (and I!) froze. There is no hot tub, which is a bummer. They charge more than other Rec centers around so I assumed the facilities would be as good or better. But they’re not. I also wish they’d let shorter kids use the big slide with a life jacket or an adult. It’s not any less safe and the smaller kids are all sad they can’t use the most attractive feature there. I probably won’t swim there again. For reference my kids are 5 and 3.

I take my son here every year for the basketball program. Its organized very well and games are usually here or at another West Jordan middle school. Pool looks fun but never tried it before.

We used to be members here. It is a nice facility that is generally well run. They keep lap lanes open at all times but dont say anything to patrons who play or lounge in them and never open additional lanes. The main reason we no longer use this facility is the huge rate hike the county assessed. They are still good for swim lessons, swim team or whatever but there are more cost effective memberships.

Lego camp was soo expensive and in the website it was said We typically work on 2 different engineering and architectural projects per day.,but only one project on last day.And it was mentioned that we need to go 30 to 45 minutes early to pictures of what they did but I went 3 days 30 to 40 minutes early but never saw what my kid did in class,they in the morning what they need to do that we can picture...so I felt sad because they told something but nothing was there...expensive and not that much worth Lego camp.Recreation center is clean and nice

Came here to swim with my husband and daughter and had to get our money back. The chlorine had to have been off. It was making us all cough. There are much better pools around.

Best Recreation Center on the west side of the valley. I really like their staff. They are very friendly. The exercise equipment is very nice. It is awesome to have an Outdoor and Indoor Pool. The park next to the rec center is awesome.

Just went to park it was on but they are letting part of it die. I would like to know why.

Affordable place for swimming lessons. Get private lessons for your kids!

This place is a great Fitness and Recreation Center if you dont want to pay an arm and a leg. I take the little ones here all the time swimming and they have a blast. The basketball courts are large and there is plenty of them. They have complimentary basketballs so you dont have to bring your own.

It is a bit pricey for what you get. Very little classes offered here compared to all the other county rec centers I have been to. However the staff are all very friendly and the instructors are great!

We use there shower facilties at least 4 × a week and they are always clean and well maintained.

Good recreation center.

Good Rec center kind of small but not busy, the pool isnt very big . When my boys were young they loved it now they say it is a little boring. This rec. Has a great Barre class, kick boxing, and yoga class with an amazing instructor Mikah!

They have a variety of equipment and a pool, should have something for everyone.

Chlorine was way strong. Pool was nice but couldnt stand the chlorine.

Great location. Lock up your valuables in the lockers by the front desk. Multiple robberies have taken place there. My wallet and phone were stolen as well as a few people I know. Keep an eye out.

Love to lap swim. Very clean and spacious. Offers a good selection of classes. Offers comparable prices to a gym without the hussle and flair of a gym.

Worst nightmare, 0 security, lost my wallet, phone, shirt, jeans, underwear, cash, car key, glasses, because this facility actually let a thief carry a bolt cutter into mans locker room and cut my lock. I walked out half naked. The only comforting word I got out of the manager was Hope something good will come out of this. What a travesty! The only good thats come out of this so far is FEELING VERY NAKED, HAVING NO TRUST FOR MY FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS, AND WAKING UP WITH COLD SWEAT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!

Gene Fullmer gym and Jim is in the West Jordan Utah it is a very large facility that has a full size swimming pool and has a very excellent exercise area its a well-managed and its so well lit its always kept a spotless. Gene Fullmer I remember

Ive never done anything but swim at this facility so I dont know how the other areas (basketball, gym, etc.) are but I feel like you pay WAY too much for what you get in the pool area. There is a playground for smaller kids and a big slide for older kids. They do not allow smaller kids to go on the bigger slide even with a parent at the bottom or a life jacket (Kearns rec has a slightly smaller, similar slide that kids can go on with a life jacket). The hours arent the best either. Also they let people take up all the sitting benches with their towels, shoes and clothing..when there is a big locker room in both the mens and womens locker rooms/bathrooms. Its annoying.

Great family environment. I go to several of the group fitness classes and I love all of the instructors, they do a great job.

The Library is very nice.

The place is a joke, the leisure pool dosent even open until 3pm on weekdays. So parents be warned! If you are trying to take your 3 year old swimming on your day off. Youll be leaving with a very sad kid.

The pools and equipment are great, but there are serious management issues. They dont post which hours the large/lap pool is reserved for HS swim teams, then the slags who work the front desk are catatonic or rude when people are dismayed at having their time wasted. They act like only an ingrate would be disappointed that only the kiddie pool is available. The manager could buy a cattle prod and send the staff to charm school, and there would still be some serious issues. Im guessing the outdoor pool is managed by the same people. Most of the kids who work there are really nice, but some of the guys openly beg for an ass kicking. One guy who called himself a manager was so rude to a grandmother with 6 or 7 grandchildren, that I was sincerely hoping she was going to pull him through the window and take him apart. She didnt need backup, because the little speedo for brains was a punk. However, had she made the decision to teach him some respect for his elders, I would have kept people from pulling her off of him until she was done, and then I would have given her an alibi. Yeah, he was that rude.

They have classes all year long for the kids and all are affordable. We love gene fullmer rec!

Always very clean. Nice set up for families. 25 m lap indoor pool.

I would give negative stars if I could. I came here at 530, had to leave for a family emergency, and came back around 550. There was a storm that came in and everyone had to leave. I did not get a ticket for the next day, or a refund. It was a waste of the $7 my friend and I paid for the use of the pool. I would not recommend these peoples facilities at all.

This place warmly welcomes the Miracle League softball team in the spring and autumn months. The Miracle League softball league caters to children and young adults with special needs and I believe the age cap is 3 to 22.

The Gene Fullmer Center offers a wide variety of activities from a weightlifting gym, dance classes, basketball courts, swimming pool with swimming lessons, and more. It is well-maintained, clean and affordable.

This place is conveniently located, and they have all the equipment one could need.

The urinals in the Mens Locker room smell like Froot Loops, and I loved it! Great Facility.

Came in to swim after checking the website. No mention that the entire indoor pool is closed for a swim meet. Massive waste of drive time. I would recommnnd actually calling first. All other pools on the salt lake county recreation website show announcements for this type of thing.

Schools, seniors, and community members often use this facility. Swimming, exercising and walking around the complex are popular activities.

Its generally safe to assume that a large aquatic and fitness center would have a steam room, sauna, or at LEAST a hot tub. We paid to get in and had assumed wrong.
