Solheim Cup - my only observation is that their fairways feel better than my carpet at home (well almost).

Staff is young and very rude. Have no respect to paying members. Very young teenagers in high management positions that think they can talk to members however they want and be rude about things. The summer there is awful with so many young employees. Don’t waste your time and outrageous amounts of money on this place when the enjoyment of sitting at the pool or doing anything there is ruined by young staff who goof off and disrespect members. The food and alcohol prices are crazy so honestly your better just sneaking some in and it is not hard. Not a fan of the staff or being there at all. Maybe when the staff is older and there are not teenagers in high management positions who think they know it all and can tell off members, then I’ll be back.

The private Des Moines Country Club is home to two highly rated championship golf courses. Both were revamped by Pete Dye in the late-1960s, and both now rank with the best in Iowa.These tree-lined and open parkland layouts provide a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy.

We spend summer in Desmoine

Weve been coming here for our after-Christmas holiday party with my work for a couple years now. Our bosses are members, and they set us up with a wonderful evening of fine dining to thank us for all our hard work. I must say, the dinner was delightful. My boyfriend and I had the filet dinner followed with chocolate lava cake and vanilla ice cream. The filet could not have been cooked any better! Mouth-watering and delicious. The staff is always very kind and friendly to us, as well. Their service is exceptional, and you can tell they have all been well-trained. I enjoy coming here with my coworkers, and can see how many Des Moines residents enjoy having a membership here. Cheers!

The solheim cup was just held there they did a first-class job on the whole tournament I had compliments from people from all kinds of different countries from Europe and how well the golf course looked and how well it played be proud to Moines area

The service is always great. The wait staff is polite and prompt. This is one of our favorite places to dine, in Des Moines.

Worlds best LPGA tournament qouted from old timer. Solheim cup was amazing as only West Des Moines can do.
