I love to do projects and crafts. Michaels has so much I find something new every time I shop there. This time I was making potion jars for a Harry Potter theme RV makeover.

Lots of crafty projects and home decor. Prices all seemed reasonable.

Store is very disorganized. Could not find soy wax or beeswax anywhere at all. Wandered around the store several times, absolutely nothing. Stuff was all over and very disorganized. Signs labeling one aisle as something were entirely wrong. And absolutely no employees bothered to pay attention to any customers. What kind of craft store doesn’t have basic crafting supplies beyond crayola products?

Line is always insane here. Tons of super cool halloween stuff tho...If I was a little richer, I would buy 90% of their holiday decor. They always have great sales tho. Really miss the classes they use to offer b4 covid shot that down. Another thing I have always noticed (and its actually caused me to walk out before bc I was so frustrated) you can NOT find anyone to help you. Its hard to find stuff and Ive circled the store several times with no hope of finding anyone to help me locate what I needed. Not just this store..but every Michaels I go to. If u need a job, please go to Michaels...they need you

The worst experience I have had in shopping there over 16 years. No to in bathroom, very little soap, shelves were emptier than I have ever seen them.

Its a pretty good place to shop. Have a lot to pick from. Seems that they stay busy.

If you need something, Michaels generally has it. It didnt work for me this time, but true to form, an associate provided me with other options. Great job!

Great place to find what you need and what you didnt know you needed

I like how they have lots of arts and crafts items, but would be nice if they had sales more often as everything is pretty expensive.

They had some good deals and the employees were very kind

There was one to ask for help. I did not see one employee and other customers said the same thing. Also there were 7 people waiting in line with one cashier. She left the register and did not return for about 5 minutes. Upon returning she helped people who had on line orders instead of waiting on the people in line who had been waiting and waiting. This is very poor management.

Ive always loved Michaels! Its one of the best craft stores around (Hobby Lobby is good too though!) They always have a 40-50% off coupon in their ad, and sometimes 25% off including clearance. This place is great for anything art! Paints, stickers, scrapbooking, photo albums, jewelry making, sketch books & pencils, gel pens, high quality markers, paints, brushes, calligraphy items, yarn, decorations for the holidays, the list goes on....I would definitely check this place out if youve never been before.

I love this particular Michaels location, it is almost always stocked well and has what I need. The only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 is because I feel they could hire friendlier staff. It isnt that all the employees are unfriendly, no not at all, but the ratio of unfriendly to friendly staff leans more toward the unfriendly.

Michaels almost always has everything I need for craft projects. This particular store can sometimes feel a little crowded, but thats not something they can really help. I could spend hours in here and never get bored. The checkout line is streamlined too, making it easy to get out and get home to work on those projects. Dont forget to download the app so you can use all the great coupons, too!

All time favorite craft store!

I went to get some fabric dye for work. Easy to find. Then came the bizarre check out line. Waiting to be called to pay for my stuff I hear I can help the next wonderful guest on register 9. That was just too over the top. I certainly hope they dont make the cashiers say that to everyone. Lord knows my dogs think I am wonderful and sometimes I think I am too, but I was embarrassed for the poor guy yelling that as loud as he could to get me to check out.

I love Michaels. Whenever I go I find great things on sale I wasnt even looking for that encourage my creativity.

The staff was fairly helpful and getting what I needed. Im not a regular Michaels shopper but it seemed rather expensive. At other Michaels stores in the past the staff has been more helpful and letting me know about coupons and discounts available before I checked out. Otherwise the store is clean and well stocked.

I love this store but they have this one manager.... she is 4 feet tall and MEEEEEEAAAANNNN!!!!!!gawd she was rude to me and temperamental, she threw glass ornaments on the floor because I asked her if there was a particular type of ornament still in stock.

Looking for wedding supplies and ideas. Some many options! We need to regroup, then will stop back for more items.

Love this place. Lots of crafty things, its huge, good get lost in there for hpurs :) only down fall, if its not on clearence its extremly pricey on holiday decor or in season decor. But all in all still a great shopping experince.

This place has a huge selection of everything art and crafts related except one thing, very limited selection of fabric if any at all. They also always seem to be out of whatever I went there for (usually markers or ink). Check out can be kinda slow but customer service is top notch.

Usually has what I need in stock. And it was pretty painless to do an online order return. Though I do miss the large cross stitch pattern selection.

Perfect store for all of your crafts that also changes with the season. Recently took longer to pick up ordered items because no one was in the back assisting.

These stores are the bomb. Of the craft stores in our area, Michaels has a lot of items that are only available online, but the best part is couple their already competitive prices with heir own online coupon or matching competitors coupons, its a win-win. Our local staff are awesome, professional and courteous.

As ALWAYS Michaels never fails to amaze me ! My Mom & I had been in DSM for an afternoon Drs appt she had, after which she wanted to grab a bite to eat while we were in town. As usual we stopped at one of our favorite places there in WDM ~ Hibachi Grill !!! (Yum !) When we got done eating we were both worn out after her Drs appt taking so long that we were both ready to go home. However, I remembered I was needing some paint markers for a project I was working on & couldnt go any further til I had some.(Reg markers or Sharpies wouldnt work.) We would be going right past Michaels on the way to the freeway, it was even on the right side of the street. So when I got to the drive I pulled in, stopped in front, & ran in. I had no idea of where they would be ! Just a general area, so I asked the first clerk I seen where they were & she told me what aisle & exactly where. I was able to get in & out of there in a matter of 5 minutes (literally), thanks to the ever wonderful employees, who have great knowledge of where items are, & the store always being stocked. As well as ALWAYS NEAT, & CLEAN !!!This also happened to be just a couple of days before Christmas !!KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK MICHAELS EMPLOYEES !!!

I went in because Google said that the store had what I was looking for. I was not greeted and was shuffled around when I asked for help. I eventually found what I was looking for on my own. Im tired of racist people working in customer service. It all over there face when it comes to helping an African American. I carry myself with respect and I expect it in return. So I want be returning to that Michaels. In addition to finding the tool I found it on clearance so that is the reason I gave 2 stars.

I miss when this store had older staff who actually had the experience to be of real assistance. In the summer, this store usually isnt well-cooled, either. Sure, there are buy online and pick up options, but the selection of so many things would be considered pared down, if youre a true crafter.

I went to pick up one item. The item wasnt on the shelf where it should be, I found it on a different shelf mixed in with other productsThe store was in disarray. Id normally chalk this up to rearranging for different holidays, but it was just plain messy. The cashiers were playing on their phones and didnt notice me until I said something. They were visibly annoyed by my interruption.

The staff here is accommodating and friendly. Having a mobility issue, I was pleasantly surprised to see how helpful the cashiers at the front were to bring a wheelchair and basket so that we could comfortable shop. I find them to be much better than other chain lobby stores in the hospitality aspect as well as in knowledge of specific arts. Very appreciated.

Went here to find some Christmas decor for a friend. Not usually a fan of arts and crafts stores but this one definitely had some unique finds and amazing deals. If you are looking for a crafting store that has it all, this is the place.

Very clean, and well organized store. My problem was with their prices as you can go to Harbour Freight and buy half of your tools and accessories at a fraction of the cost!
