Big parking lot free parking. Big well maintained fields with stadium seating. Entrance fee everyday and bags are checked. Only water and seeds are allowed to be taken inside. Each field has a themed field ex: Doger Stadium field, Wrigleys field. They have an inside Sports Bar that serves food & drinks including alcohol. From inside each sports bar you can watch the games, they have windows all around to view each field. They have batting cages and a net protected play area. They also have vendors at the entrance selling souvenirs and softball themed items. The staff is very friendly. Overall nice place, they just need to redo the signs and themed backgrounds they are faded.
Child played on Angel field. Home plate is 2 inches in to ground which is completely unsafe not to mention crooked. Also not aligned with the pitchers mound at all. If this was a community field with limited funds Id understand but a private facility that charges admission ( whats with charging players 1$) Id expect the fields to be in much better playing condition. About the time a kid breaks an ankle on that indented plate I suppose theyll take the time to care. Impressed with the concept.....not the upkeep of conditions
Dont understand why they charge for customers who only want to use the batting cages. Batting cages are a GREAT price but are in desperate need of repair. I definitely would recommend the cages if they could fix those cages. Lastly, this is a family oriented environment and I would donate to this great cause.
It is a HUGE place. There are a lot of playgrounds for the little ones. The baseball fields are just like mini versions of the great baseball fields, like they have a miniature Yankee stadium ️ and a miniature Dodger stadium ️. I personally love that the enterence is only 1 dollar for kids and 3 dollars for adults. They give you a coin when you enter so you can get something to eat at their restaurant. The playing field is pretty big for junior to major kids.
This used to be a great place to play softball. The replica fields were great and nearly immaculate. But you can really see the noticeable decline in the condition of the fields. Many of the bases are Ill fitting, the home plate looks worn and is anywhere from 1/2 - 1 below ground. The pitching machines often dont work and when they do, will malfunction at some point. It costs $3 to enter whether youre a player or not. Upon paying your entry fee, they give you a token valued at $1 towards the purchase of food or beverages. But Ive caught the bartender twice charging me full price and not crediting me the $1 for the token. Its only a dollar so its not a big deal to me, but if thats what theyre going to do, then why bother with the token? Its still nicer than most parks, but its a sad decline for a great place to play softball tournaments and league play.
While the fields are nice, and the staff friendly, I have run into far too many issues in my 4 visits(thus far) to this venue. My first bad experience was when I asked online about availability of water. They replied that I could get a big jug of water for my team as long as I left a deposit. On game day, I was told that this service was only available on weekends for the kids games, regardless of how hot it currently was.My second bad experience was on a Tuesday when the entry fee is supposed to be $3. I showed up at 6pm to use the batting cages. They posted nothing online about price changes, and decided that a single page taped up at the entrance was good enough to justify a $10 entry fee that day. Apparently that was their special day to milk the parents of the players for every dime they got. Finally, I show up on the evening of July 3rd, again to hit the batting cages. This time I find the park completely closed. No notices were placed on their website and their Google listing showed them as normal hours. They really need to post up to date hours and prices on their website and stop trying to profiteer like that. Their current method just makes them look greedy.
Over the years weve been coming here weve seen minimal attempt at upkeep. Always nice to have real seats instead of bleachers, but outfield walls have been bleached out and peeling for years, bar/restaurant is flogged and hasnt been updated in as long as I can remember. Fields r not well maintained. Generally pretty grimy. A grand idea that was fun in its time, but well past its prime.
Cool place... Needs some work, several seats for spectators in dodger stadium part are broken, but overall a pretty cool spot for baseball activities
I enjoy watching the SFV BLACK WIDOWS play here. Will definitely come back for another tournament.
Very nice setup, I hope they have place open to public without fee.
Great 1st experience. They have a playground for the kids
The field where dreams are made! We had an excellent time and cant wait to go back next year!
The baseball/softball fields all seem to be in good condition. They have a nice playpark for the kids who are not playing ball. Nice snack bar with a verity of food. The reason for the 3 star rating is they have nice score boards but never operate them, you dont know the score or what inning the game is in and thier restrooms are filthy. You would think when they charge an admission and I am happy to pay the admisdion you would at least get rest rooms that are some what clean.
It was fun watching little kids play baseball!
Need s a new face lift. Same ol place
Paid way to much to watch my daughter play for a paid tournament. Dirty unkept bathrooms, broken playground and rude staff. Hope we never have to come here again!
Great place to let lose and play ball. I just wish theyd fix the batting cages.
Awesome Place each field is named & replica of major Fields
Great sports competition, and food is great .lots of adult beverages
Had a great time with the family going to the batting cages. Cool how theyll lend you the bats and helmets if needed
It a pretty league place they serve beer at a certain time. But they had to shut down early cause of plumbing issues.
On the fourth of july they had a great firework show took the whole family
Its fun for kids and its not just meant for one thing the adults have theyre fun plus its also meant for 9-50 are able to play there.
Awesome place, watched several other softball games while waiting for my main event I was there for, La Sierra softball game. They have window seats inside looking over each field which is cool. Good bar type food, and bar drinks. Overall great experience. If you get a chance to go dont miss out, its a terrific park.
Needs a major overhaul, at 6$ entry i expect a clean place at the least...smh, welll this place will soon have security as i got knocked out in the parking lot sunday afternoon after my friends sons game, this place will have a hudge 180 overhaul verysoon.....
I hate this place. They take advantage of parents love of watching their kids play baseball. You pay for your child to play in a tournament then you have to pay to watch them play. They are so money hungry that they rifle through the boys baseball bags to make sure they so not have any Gatorade or water so you are forced to buy their overpriced water and Gatorade.
Awesome place 2 play. Luv the replicas of the MLB stadiums
The staff is friendly and very informative. I really appreciated that. The softball batting cages are fun and my girlfriend, who had never swung a bat in her life, had a great time. She wants to go again. This location is an awesome hangout spot where you can meet other people and join softball leagues. My only complaint is that the fast-pitch batting cages pitch the ball too low. You’ll be pleased to know that I’m an excellent golfer.
Lots of fields and parking, but the best is a central clubhouse that is air conditioned!
Nice place, nice staff, though... Overpriced concessions. Never had to pay for my son to enter a field complex after paying a tournament fee for games he was playing in..Liked the different MLB replica stadiums, however they should use some of their gate fees and concession $ to update the rundown dodger stadium.
Beautiful ballpark. Pricey to get in to watch your own kids game but the park itself is very nice. Good location byplaces to eat inbetween games
Its a great place to hang out with friends and family while enjoying sports that range from baseball to soccer and many more! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Great place to play baseball or softball. They have replica fields of Doger stadium, Angel stadium, aGreen monster, and more.
The food is eh....but its fun to watch the games.
Fun place always enjoy going to the batting cages and watching the games and have a beer or two.
Its a joke my son was playing in a tournament besides the $6.00 per person and a Dollar for the Player the bathrooms are gross . the staff not all of them but some have zero personality and act like youre bothering them. All the money people are spending you would think they would put a little toward the upkeep of the fields and the facility as a whole.
Awesome place for family and company functions.
Great idea done poorly. Dirty bathrooms and average at best food. Fields are good but not great. Could be such a better experience but they make tons of money already so I doubt they feel the need to improve.
The best place to practice some baseball and have team events, great staff! Unfortunately the last 2 times we went there around 5:30 for batting cages with the kids, they closed it because they said they were short staff, but the place doesnt close until 10pm and there was a game starting at 7:30pm so as a customer driving from afar and the website says that big league dreams is open until 10pm, its sad for the kids that they wouldnt leave it open when we got there because they had 4 workers at the front with a bunch of people standing around. Hopefully this will change next time.
Big League Dreams in West Covina invest money into your facility its becoming a dump
My daughter worked her when they first opened. It was top class then and hope they continued. Neat activity for leagues
Nice place to visit. Lots of different playing fields. Also a playing for the little ones and for Adults(bar). Lots to see and do.
Great place to play ball. Unfortunately on 10/29 a batting net was taken from West Covina Lady Bruins. Way to support our kids. Unbelievable. But I still give field of dreams a 5 star. Great place for our girls to grow up and enjoy playing the sport.
Love this place ..but the food n drinks are too expensive....
Always a good time here... a little pricey but fun
The park was beautiful. Clean, spacious with activities for all. We had a great time. Thinking of using the facilities for a party.
This place is HOT. There are shaded areas, but you can still feel the heat. Might have just been the day I was there, but the heat was miserable. Other than that, this place is pretty neat. Theyve got four different fields, so we were able to have multiple games going on at the same time. Overall, not too bad. Coffee here is alright, and the burgers were pretty good.
This is the nicest baseball park I have ever seen. Facilities were well laid out, designed, and maintained. I would drive the 38 miles to attend my grandsons games. I wish Long Beach would put funds into building something even 1/3 this scale at the Willow Springs Park area, which has become a visual blight and waste of public lands. Of course anything in LB has to be kept locked up and behind high fences or it will be ruined by gangs, graffiti, homeless encampments and those who just like to wreck it for others.
Employees were extremely rude to my pregnant mother and manager was sarcastic about the situation): bad experience!!
Awesome place with batting cages and fields for your baseball and softball teams. Great view and locale. Notable pro MLB players are involved in advancing the sport with the youth in this community.
It is a fantastic place for baseball. It has playgrounds and snack bars also batting cage
This place was great to spend the day at. It had all the typical softball amenities. Great for not only kids but adults as well.
Rest room so so to eat there a Dam sham over price field can be better there paying to get in over rate this is not the Dodgers u are watching and they should not sell beer to people that had to many all ready no Security there whatsoever it can get crazy if a fight is there but folks like to drink so they love coming there and getting Nasty as well
Love watching my boys play here.
Took my kids to the batting cages. 2 were broke and the 3 we tried kept not working. I had to keep going into office. Lady in there was nice but busy. The guy there was either ignoring me or cant hear. Spent about an 1 and a half hours to hit 45 min. Probably give them 1 more shot before I stop trying their cages. Beautiful park tho!
Was Crazy Ex-Girlfriend filmed here? Weekend $5 admission. No cell phone reception. 2 exact looking indoor bars, 6 baseball fields, 1 soccer field and 6-7batting cages ($1 for 20hits). Exchange money for batting cage and video game arcade tokens. We came for a friends bday at the bar.No indoor food and drinks allowed. A pitcher of beer is $16, food ranges from $3+ corn dog, $8 3chicken strips and fries, $16 for whole pizza. Lots of food options. Place closed when last league finish playing.Stadium baseball fields are huge with fun fake fans on the board. All they need is a token buzzer to buzz some applause and fake cheers.Parking is free and plenty.
Awesome facility for baseball and softball.
Softball is so awesome.
Really run down and had to pay to get in. Lots of seats missing and overall the property was not kept up
I used to play softball here. The facility is nice, bit the fields themselves arent kept up like they should be. The restrooms break down a lot. They charge an arm and a leg both to play and the entrance fee, which is more expensive on Fridays and Sundays. For all that money, youd think they would keep the fields kept up at the very least. Food and drinks also cost an arm and a leg. The batting cages are constantly broken down, jammed or dont throw the ball correctly.
Looks so dirty inside!! Just gross!!
Its a has nice baseball fields but bring a tent or umbrella because when the sun shifts its very hot!
A central hub for the community, this is a perfect place to find a sports team if youre seeking something like that for your downtime. They host indoor soccer games, hockey, baseball and more on this field. For a small charge, youre allowed complete access to the park as well as the amenities it offers. They even return one dollar of the entry fee to be used in the restaurant in the park. Dogs are allowed, but smoking isnt allowed in the fields.
Rlly fun and big playground
With all the money they take in, the upkeep could be better. Games are often canceled after a decent rain because field drainage is nonexistent. More like Big League Faded Dreams because all the stadium field backdrops on the walls are withering away.Theres bad cell dead spots the further you go north beyond Dodger stadium field, especially for TMO people. Be aware of that even if your phone shows a signal!
Fun experience but customer service operator never available.
Kept up nicely. We go to many bld fields and appreciate the ones that are clean and well kept
Its just hot, but nice fields. Restaurant and bar inside make it nice for the parents tho!! :)
If you like spending time watching different organizations teams playing base bsll, then this pkace is for you. They only have fast food though. They do have a nice playing area for kids
Gr8 leagues & gr8 pizza. The food sevice is fantastic and the fields are prepared in awesome condition. The umpires call the games like pros and the softball action is inspiring lifting the spirit.
Im not a fan of baseball or spectator sports, but this is a good place to go if you like baseball. Go there to be outdoors and for the batting cages. Have fun with your children!
The owner of Living Spaces throws bbques every year for his employees at this location.Very spacious and clean
Great place to take your kids for batting cages for Baseball and softball, great replica stadiums to play in
They really need to put some money into the BLD parks. Seats are broken and fields should look way better given that you pay to get in.
Shopping here is enjoyable. Service is great and information is helpful. Great parking space in a convenient shopping center.
Wonderful customer service all around. Bartenders are attentive and nice.
Great location. Played here for the in n out softball tournament and had alot of fun.
Good indoor soccer field!
HATE having to pay to get in then expensive at snack bar
Exelente, please with good fields.
Had a good time warching my son play softball with his team mates.
I had fun there with my Co-workers playing softball
Nice people that work there very friendly and helpful
Best place ever
Live to watch my daughter play
I play baseball here for So Cal Bombers and its really nice they even have a playzone for kids if you and your family want to experience fun I would recommend this place and the replica fields are outstanding
This is definitely better than your average batting cage especially since it has replica stadiums of professional teams
It is the best I just got done playing games
Good place to play game. The problem is the player has to pay entrance fee every time and once raise from 3 to 5. This is unfriendly to anyone who wants to bring friends to see the game.
Great softball fields food very expensive lots of fun
Great place for softball
Fun place to watch softball game club house serves food &beer arcade for kids and tons of tvs for all sporting events
Incredible baseball facility with 2 restaurant/bars, big screen hdtvs, and all is well maintained.
It was good
