The newburg fair was great.

This is a neat park nestled in the town of Newburg. The baseball diamonds with associated facilities are very nice, and the access to the Milwaukee River is a plus. One can wade or fish from shore. I am sure there are plenty of smallies hiding in behind rocks and in pools below the riffles. There is a decent spot to land or launch canoes and kayaks. You can launch in West Bend and paddle to here, or launch here to paddle to Fredonia. There is a little gravel draw into which you can launch, but normally you cant hit it to land while splashing through the mini rapids downstream of the bridge. Just land in the slack water along the grassy shore after running the drops. NOTE: Despite the size of this park, THERE ARE NO RESTROOMS. I assume they must put port o poddies up during the summer. If you are paddling the river, youll need to hit the BP in town or the one between West Bend and Newburg before or after your paddle.
