We had our annual family reunion there. The kids enjoy and love the playground. The park is well maintained. The bathrooms were clean. Very nice facility.
I stopped in the Parks & Recreation dept to pick up a list of the yard sales that were a part of the city wide Yard Sale weekend. I paid $2 & got a booklet that not only listed the sale but the items they had, days & times, the address ( which if you clicked on it google maps would open & provide you directions) they were listed by areas/ subdivisions. They also included a paper map and a digital copy online! All for $2.00. That was the best set up I have ever seen. Thanks city of Wentzville! I will be a regular at this event from now on.
The Progress Park playground is older and smaller than the new Jakes Field of Dreams, but it is typically not very crowded. There is a large climbing structure fashioned after a tree house with 2 slides, as well as a toddler-size version. The restrooms are right in front and theres a pavilion with lots of tables that you can use if its not rented. At the back, theres a batting cage area, but theres no machine or side netting anymore. The playground is nestled between the Olympic-size pool and a softball field. In summer, this pool is less crowded than Splash Station.
We have great Parks here in Wentzville and theyre constantly bettering them adding more trails and more venues! And theyre very well kept
Great parks for a great town
I love this park!!
Does not practice social distancing and no one wears a mask.
I think Wenrzville has some great places to visit, but residents should get a deeper discount. We are already paying some of the highest taxes around. People come from other areas to use our facilities, money for that should come out of their pockets, not ours.
Pretty nice place, seems to have alot to do.
Great place for a workout or a nice basketball pick up game!
Although not big enough for the city of Wentzville, there is a small gym, track, basketball court. Has an outdoor pool, picnic area and ball fields. No ice rink for hockey here. No indoor pool for water aerobics which I would like as an older individual.
Great place to play basketball and exercise
Tball, 75 degrees, great
Playing games, beautiful day nice people
Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had our aquatic pass in just a few minutes. It was a very easy process.
Love the parks
Enjoying a Sunday afternoon at the Progress Park pool in Wentzville. The big slide is out of order today but doesnt affect our fun day with our 2 year old.I am closely watching the lifeguard staff perform their various tasks and am impressed mostly. A clean and friendly experience today.
Nice park and rec center.
Not a lot to do here. Pool is too crowded
Wentzville is doing this right. Plenty of parks for a fast growing population. Now...if they could just get some bike lanes.. ;-)
Its a large pool and not very crowded. Also has a playground outside the pool area.
Decided to return to pickle ball after 1 1/2years off. Staff very friendly and went out of their way to answer questions. Found facilities clean. New to town and felt welcome. ThanksBill Echelmeyer
They getting bigger you need go there to see!!
Camp class was there and left a big mess food all over the play ground smashed and kids left stuff and trash everywhere. That wasnt a smart idea. And they were just running wild not watching other children. Walking up sllides. Almost kicking others in the head WOW and adults/young adults watching them not really. But I guess they had fun. Then we did when they left. Not a place for about 40 kids to small of a park for that...
We had a great time. We were in town for my cousins wedding reception. The place was clean, set up was great, bartenders were awesome. Really great location. No complaints at all.
Did the discovery scuba, it was awesome.
Nice work out place.
Nothin special. Closed at 6pm on a Saturday and Sunday. Their price was high for an hour. They have a big slide that hasnt been opened either time I went.
Excellent place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
We were there for the 4th of July fireworks display. The park was clean, well supervised and the fireworks were exceptional.
Great times
Clean and offers a great summer camp for the kids.
Great park addition to the city of Wentzville.
Reasonable daily rate
Amazing pool and aquatic center. The meeting hall is a great place to host an event.
Friendly staff. Small gym but it will suffice I till the new facility is built.
Nice sports park. Pool. Basket ball and a gym if youre not a gym member. Theres a football/soccer field and a baseball diamond. Decent amount of parking and place to lock up your bike outside.
Here for voting poll. It was slammed and it was beautiful!
Wentzville Parks Department Has Really done a Great Job To Make Family And Sports Teams Some Great Places to Play
Perfect venue for our wedding reception
Great yoga class/instructor
Fun carnivals are held every so often and the food trucks line up!
Well kept
The amenities are good but not too budget friendly.
Signed both children up for spring baseball. Very unorganized and lack of communication with coaches and shirts and hats for teams did NOT even match! Entire City rec had two pitching machines to share between ALL baseball/softball teams. Fields are horrible. Broken glass and trash everywhere at last practice field. Definitely will be going to OFallon or Chesterfield rec for future seasons our boys like baseball too much to play for them.
So fun
The swim classes are great for the kids.
Great place to meet up with friends and hang for a while
Nice but small
Good conference area
Great pool
Great
Love the pool !!
Nice park
