We go rafting pretty much every summer usually 2-4times depending on water conditions .Theres many stretches you can float and this place us the popular take out ! When the snow melt is good you can run into some class 4s for sure . The weather is really nice in the spring and havent had a bad float yet !Use ur personal protective gear and most importantly your life jacket!!!! Enjoy this river very much and look forward to it every year ......
Confluence is an extremely well cared for park. The camping sites are far apart with lots of room to set up your favorite camping gear. Very quiet and the park host and park aids are a joy to converse with. The Columbia River is just a little ways from the camping sites with a beautiful swim beach and a person can hook up with the trail system that is approximately 22 miles long. Not a bad camping site in the park. Cudos to the park manager for a job very well done.
What a beautiful place. Lots of paved walking trails, place to swim, kayak and paddleboard. Places to play softball, tennis and ride your bicycles! Also have RV camping too, although they are expensive. A day pass here is $10, but an annual pass is $30. If you camp with an RV your day pass is covered. Loved this park! If you have a dog, they must be on a leash at all times and you must pick up after them!
What a gorgeous campground. Looks like a park.Like most people during the pandemic we were searching to find spots to get a little respite. This park offered not only lovely scenery but to our delight a Capital Trail that you can walk or bike straight out from the campground. There is an East side that is pretty treeless and the West side that has a wonderful Art on the Avenues sculpture park. This side is shaded with huge trees and a paved walk way. If you want you can go into Wenatchee from either direction so it is a loop. This trail is safe for kids.
Huge park with plenty to do. The bathrooms were clean. Shade was plentiful. We did not plan on swimming but the beach and water were so inviting that we climbed in and played with the kids in our street clothes. There’s a trail running through it that goes over the river. Looks like it would be great for daily exercise and be out in nature. We did not camp but the sites looked so clean and green. We will definitely be back.
This is a nice, big park. It is well maintained and has many walking trails. I took my old dawg here for his last walk before having to go to the vet. He could barely get around so the nice flat terrine was perfect for him, the perfect goodbye. Miss you Moose Dawg, forever in my heart and part of my soul.
Came here as part of a large company camp out event. We had one of the two group sites and it was excellent. Close enough to the group restroom & shower complex to make it really convenient without listening to flushing toilets all night. Group site #2 had a nice large grassy area with decent shade trees to pitch tents. Power outlets in the group picnic shelter, a large portable charcoal grill, firepit, water spigots, and we had the group site parking area all to ourselves so folks could bring RVs and boats. It was a quick walk to the wonderful swimming beach and a play area was located close by (but no shade so beware of hot play equipment.) Wonderful time here and the weather was incredible.
I pulled in to the park around five or six oclock on the fourth of July weekend. The, sign said campground was full. Then the ranger asked me how long I was wanting to stay. He then suggested their overflow camping areaIt was a beautiful grassy area with no people around. Perfect for tent camping. The price was $27.00Very friendly and helpful ranger.I deducted one star because I could not find a bathroom that was not locked.I know about Corona but there has to be some facilitys that are kept open. All in all a very clean comfortable campground.
You need a state parks parking pass, but much less crowded for day use then county parks. We went on a very hot Sunday afternoon, and had plenty of options for shade as well as sun bathing. Protected area to swim. Boat launch seemed popular, and yet easy to use.
Beautifully cared for park. Camp spots have lots of room......NO CROWDING. Quiet park. Friendly staff.
Really enjoyed my time at the park doing a little fishing and people watching. Great place for all ages. Very well kept. Spring melt had the rivers running fast and they must have let extra water over the dam because the swim area flooded. But subsided.
Beautiful park and camping area. Its secluded enough to not realize you are practically in downtown Wenatchee.
Nice big open camp sites, lots of walking and biking trails, playgrounds for the kids, tennis courts, great group areas.
Lovely park. Lots of space. Close to town if needed. Beautiful scenery.
Very nice park a particular volunteer park aide had an attitude. Not what you want to be exposed to on your vacation. Reporting to park ranger.
I had a nice time. Wish the space a little bit bigger for the swim spot. I could see how that could get crowded easily especially with the float and things people take in
Love this campground and we camp here yearly. Beautiful surroundings and large spacious campsites.
This is a tricky park to find. It is located in the city of Wenatchee on the Columbia River. You must make several turns in an industrial area and some of the turns are not marked with signs. Google Maps did a good job getting us to this park. The park has green grass and big shade trees. Nice size spaces with full hookup but no privacy. We self registered and did not see any park staff during our stay. Play ground located in the campground as well as in the day use area. The Huron Nature area is next door to the park and there is a trail and bridge connecting it to the campground area. Lots of lookouts with benches for bird viewing along trail from campground to beach area. It is a bit of a walk to get to the beach. The park and beach were clean and there are paved trails. We did not hear traffic from the campground. It was quiet and peaceful.
Very clean. Lots of paved biking opportunities. Lots to do in the area. It is city camping.
I will definitely come back! The swimming area was beautiful and while we didnt get to camp it looked like all you needed was a discovery pass.
Lovely tree lined RV park with large lawn expanses and nicely space camping sites and a short walk to beach areas on the Columbia River.
Usually unused. Cool, grassy. Great place to take burgers from the Hot Rod cafe.
Beautiful place ️
Its a nice place for all sports and rec. Also great place for camping also has a boat launch
Great place for the kids to run around and swim.
Great place to spent few days camping.I will come back.
Nice little camp ground. Staff keep the restrooms clean. L o t s of mosquitoes, so bring your repellant and nets.
We have visited this park every year for a few years now. It is absolutely beautiful. Very well kept. The grass is always green, the grounds and restrooms very clean, and the staff so friendly. There are 2 playgrounds, a swimming area, boat launch with 2 lanes and tons of parking, as well as horseshoe pits, volley ball net, tennis courts, basketball courts, large gazebos, public bbqs, and bike trails. The rv park is always full, but never feels crowded.
Nice walking/riding paths with spots to get your feet wet and swim if you are brave enough
My family has been going there for years we love it there
Clean, quiet park, with great spacing for RVs and tents! Loved it!
Another great place to play tennis with friends and ride bikes
Wasnt too crowded, the water was super cold of course but the girls still were able to swim without swimming into other people
Very well kept park. Nice green grass.
I was born & raised in wenatchee but now live in Montana we come back every summer to bring my kiddos to see their great grandfather & all the beautiful fruit, tress, & orchards that the area has. The water was really high during our visit but it made no difference to us. We enjoyed watching the boats load at the ramp and the playground. It was very clean not really any trash laying around plenty of picnic tables & there is bathrooms near the play area.
Good urban camping. Difficult to get reservations even in October
For boating, camping or just hanging out, this is a great spot- especially for kids on hot days to swim in the river in a shallow area with other kids. Many geese also call this spot home as well as other waterfowl and it abounds with birdwatching and photographic opportunities, especially with the adjacent nature area across the walking bridge. You can also do a 10 mile loop around the river from your camp site on nice paved trails.
Great park for birdwatching or morning walks. Peaceful place.
Its weird that it is right in the middle of Wenatchee. . . But its a fun little place with good river access.
It was a very nice view and I loved seeing all the people waking and bicking I actually felt normal.
I really enjoy the fact that the showers are clean and accessible to anyone there for like a buck. You cash your bill in for I believe two tokens that are only good for the showers at this park. Each token gives you 3 minutes of water time in the showers. I like the fact that my ex-girl and I were homeless and wed go here to bathe daily. And on the days where we were broke and could only get a couple tokens wed just sneak into, she came into the mens shower because we figured a man would have less likelihood of snitching us out if he found a girl inside the mens bathroom over a girl finding a guy in the female restrooms, the showers right after I entered the mens side entrance and we were able to bathe in the same shower at the same time together and we could both bathe that way. The big complaint I have about this park is the Deputy Do-Right park rangers that have nothing better to do than harass the visitors because I had a trespassing note from there for 6 months(illegally camping at their sites in the Squilchuk campgrounds since we were homeless) and not knowing they were both Confluence owned parks I got taken to jail immediately once they saw me as I was purchasing tokens for the shower. It ended up costing me $500 for my bond to get out. I borrowed that from my father pretty easily and he should have gotten it right back once I appeared on court for the charge except a transgender named Alaina that I thought was a friend of mine ended up making the payment with my fathers money he sent for just that but it was wrote up in her name so she got it paid back to her and then lied and said she never received the bond money back. So now my father doesnt believe my story and really doesnt trust me at all now. (Not like he did much before all that took place.)
Jill at the State Parks office helped us by mailing us some items our kids forgot. An excellent park to visit, and the staff are even better!
Wasnt all that great in the week I was there the park staff was at the window once claimed they had full park but 90% of the spots were open even online wouldnt let me reserve a spot so I had to keep jumping spot to spot or they left nasty notes
Nice state park located on the edge of Wenatchee
It was a fun place to do a little camp. Hsd lots of fun hanging out with friends there and hot some nice pic for it too
Great state park, clean and well kept.
Good frisbee spot, need a 2nd and 3rd beach.
Beautiful place and see distance social on the People
Well maintained, lots of space, every outdoor family activity you can think of... Basketball, tennis, volleyball, football, soccer, etc.
Great park!! Lots of shade and sun and places to BBQ.
Great for kids. Easy camping. Nice walks to the water. And a Half Eagles nest!
To many bugs and no Wi-Fi
Great place to camp, nice bike trail, and short walk to Wenatchee.
Nice facility. Like all the Chelan PUD funded parks
Nice camping and day use park. Would recommend they add a off leash area..... near park entrance off to the left, appears to have adequate space. Idea, would recommend something similar to Wenatchee public off leash park in the south end of the city, but larger scales.
Great place to bring your family
The campground was a little weird. Im assuming that it is mainly for RVs. We did pull in and took a nice hot shower. There was just a strange vibe to the place. We decided not to stay.
This park is so pretty. You can walk and walk or bike. Pretty all the way. I enjoyed it very much. Clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were all over the place. People swimming. Just nice. Not far there are restaurants and gelato place and beer place. Fun to visit.
Very nice quiet place
Spending labor day here what a nice park. Paved spots lush grass and super clean. You do need reservation in advance.
Incredible place, loved it
Beautiful rivers, decent weather, nice hikes n bikes.
The park has eight standard campsites, 52 full-hookup sites, one dump station, six restrooms (all ADA) and 16 showers (eight ADA). Maximum site length is 65 feet (limited availability). All sites have a picnic table and campfire grill. Individual campsites are reservable from April 1 - September 30.Check-in time is 2:30 p.m.Check-out time is 1 p.m.
Always taken care of and kept clean
My husband and I frequently park here to access the loop trail. We love to bicycle and this is a great place to start. Great park to camp in and there is a great playground for the kids. A nice roped off swimming area also. Something for almost everyone.
Love the park my family and I have been camping there annually for 20 plus years I look forward to coming back every year. Best maintained park I have ever stayed at. Beautiful views and very close to many fun activities for the family
While I hate the traffic in Wenatchee, the Wenatchee Confluence State Park is a beautifully maintained gem at the citys edge.
Grassy lawn, nice shade, Wenatchee river sitting
Dogs love it here!
This is a nice clean park with connections to the Wenatchee River Walk and to bring children.
Day area is beautiful! Gorgeous views. Lots of trees for shade. Campground is nice but the spots are little close together.
Great place to take the family camping. Good exploring around with water everywhere.
We love this park. GREAT place for kids. Extremely well maintained, and nice camp sites.Very close to shopping, but you still feel like your out camping.
Great park/camp ground. Really liked it. Will definitely come there again. Its free if you have a discovery pass. But thats only for the park.
Beautifully groomed grounds with plenty room for almost everyone, nice place to swim and I believe shower rooms. Boat dock as well, hookups for campers
Very nice well kept. Dog friendly
The RV spots are well spaced out, very clean and convenient to places of interests.
Fantastic park, clean, very little roadway noise
We usually go to the Agility Trial held here in October. Lots of fun.
Had a wonderful time here but be very aware that not every space has a hookup and even though it would appear on the map that it has a hook up it may not
Nice staff. Volunteers keep it clean and it is very quiet in the fall.
We love to camp here. A great trail to bike ride on. The Apple Loop Trail.
We stayed here for 12 days. The park was nice well kept. Its in a good location by the Columbia river. The restrooms were clean the campsites very nice. The rangers pleasant, helpful and easy to contact if you had questions.
Very well kept park and full service RV spaces with shade trees and plenty of room between sites. Staying for one night and very happy with our spot here.
The eagles are starting to make a come back. A beautiful area to walk and enjoy the outdoors. Not a difficult walk. No bikes, just a place to enjoy and look for animals and peace.
A treat to this refuge right in the city. Lovely, most level paved trail, perfect for walking or cycling.
Great park! Spacious campsites with full hookups. Nice beach area, play area, tennis courts and play field.
Attractive park. Nice camping area. Good starting point for the bike trail.
Great river access and well maintained facilities. Very lush compared to the drier surroundings.
Again a peaceful scenic spot to go walk, sit and have lunch, or dinner. Play park for kids and nearby bathrooms and of course the Hreat Columbia River. Even h AZ s swimming and I believe launching.
Very clean well-maintained park with good facilities and full services.
Its a nice walk away from the traffic. Metro phone service not so great
Great place! Large RV sites. Green grass. Ill come here again.
Spacious sites, lots of extra green space, healthy grass (not too short), many pine trees and maples.Fabulous, easy nature walks. Playground for young children.Friendly staff. Our third visit here. Will come again. Quick twenty-mile drive to Leavenworth. Loads of outdoor recreation options nearby.
