Stayed 4 nights for free as part of our Thousand Trails membership. We camped in the new section in front in site 316. Full hookups. Water 60psi, sewer and 50amp. Cell service was adequate (AT&T and Verizon) but not screaming fast.No trees, but large, open gravel site. They were still planting shrubs and small trees during our stay so we were probably one of the first guests to stay in our site. We thought it might be loud near the entry and behind the go kart/mini golf course but it wasnt loud at all.Easy access to many of the local beaches and towns. One of our favorite Thousand Trails campgrounds this year.
I love Moody Beach Campground. I am a thousand trail member with my daughter Eryn. She has been taking my granddaughter Izzie there for many years. Izzie is 9.7 yrs old. She loves it there as this year she has made a few friends. This is campground is her home away from Boston where we live. We hope someday to buy a RV or a cabin to make more permanent are place at moody beach. Eryn sets up and tears down the tent and gazebo by herself most often And it is worth it as she loves moody beach staff and campers and the facilities there. So come if you haven’t and if u do visit here keep comping!!
We are coming to the end of a great stay at the Moody Beach Campground in Maine. The staff here has been the most accommodating and friendly of any of the Thousand Trails parks we have visited. Even with the COVID-19 pandemic rules in place they have made us feel like we’re on vacation.. When we had an issue and who doesn’t and it was quickly and professionally resolved. The only regret we have is that due to schedules we won’t be back until next year. Thanks to the entire staff that works here we certainly enjoyed our stay.
Pretty nice campground. Would give it a 5 if check in wasnt so confusing and if our camp wasnt under water right now. Centrally located to a ton of beaches.
We love Moody Beach! The employees were polite and the campground was clean and well maintained. We would definitely return!

Centrally located to many attractions: beaches, restaurants, shop, mini golf and go karts. Secure and located in clean quiet grounds. They have a pool, basketball, nice bathroom facilities. Awesome family vacation.
We received a dealership membership when we bought our RV out in Arizona! We were so excited to get started and to have this benefit was what we thought, at the time, a great deal. We have stayed in two New England Thousand trails parks and are sadly disappointed with both.One was in New Hampshire this one Maine.We are glad we did not purchase a Thousand Trails membership because both of these parks put us in not so nice spots. They did not go over any of the parks amenities, is the cable? WiFi?We are surrounded by park trailers and are packed in like sardines.No place to call your own, basically in the worst space.There are many empty spots up in front of the park that are wide open, larger and have motor homes like ours there. I guess those spots are Reserved for full time thousand trail membership owners that don’t have a home address.I won’t recommend this park to anyone.
We had a two bedroom cabin. These cabins are so new they still smelled new. Great amenities of coffee pot, pots and pans, etc. we brought our own sheets and towels, however the facility does rent these upon request. Only downside was it was difficult to get up onto the upper bunk of bed. Would recommend property and would stay here again.
I have been coming to this campground since I was a young child (in the 80s/early 90s for reference lol). There has been lots of changes over the years. Some good, some bad. Im sad to see the removal of playgrounds and the in house mini golf. COVID has definitely hampered things more. My only real complaint is that I share a membership with my mother and we both cant come at the same time unless we are in the same camper/cabin/tent site. I wish we could have a bigger membership discount on an additional site. Paying for the membership and having to pay $60 to tent and up to $250 a night for a cabin doesnt sit well with me. If that changed in some way, that would be amazing! Thanks Mood Beach for being there for me for 3 decades! I still have valued friends as an adult that I met here! Summer camps are wonderful :)
Amazing place and the campground is great too! We love Ogunquit, Kennebunk, and York. This place is in the middle of everything. Campground host were amazing especially during coVid. Pool was open for 10 groups at a time, laundry was one person at a time. Being considered high risk we really appreciate that sort of thing Staff delivered firewood. They had new gravel pads in the front for large sized rigs or people that don’t like being under trees. There was a large wooded area for people who do. Kids activities. Basketball court. Really something for everyone. Everything clean and well kept. Did I mention the staff was awesome? We are definitely coming back here when we are on the East Coast again.
Love this place. Stayed for 3 weeks and going back again in another week.
It was quiet and the newer sites were large and sunny. Plenty to do in the surrounding area and it has cell coverage as well.
I love it!! We stay down there for a couple weeks sometimes. The change is a little weird but I think its okay
Was an ok experience. I dont like how they pick the spot for you. Other TT Ive been to pretty much say go find a spot and come back to let is know which one you took.
Our family of 18 souls, ranging from tiny tots to teens, middle aged with a sprinkling of geriatrics, absolutely loves the atmosphere here! This is our first family vacation visit to Maine; definitely cannot wait to come back for more! The staff is wonderful, the other guests have been so friendly. Everyone found something they loved! Whether it was the pool, hot tub, adult lounge, or kids area; we have all found a favorite niche to enjoy. The peaceful aura of the entire place has been fantastic for our relaxation needs.When an electrical issue occurred during our stay, the amazing staff rose to the occasion. They even went above meeting basic needs during the outage, and provided free coffee that morning! Camping at Moody Beach, is a Win, win, win! We all thank you for hosting a wonderful family reunion!
We enjoyed our stay here. Spots are very short and narrow but really our only complaint. They also have a unique design with sites in from different directions so people front doors are facing each other and you end up with more interactions. Staff and everyone was really great. Great location to explore as well. AT&T signal strong but very little bandwidth.
Its a good campground with full hookups. Acorns fell from pretty high distances and made loud bangs all night when we were there. It didnt do any damage, its just really easy to wake up to it.

Pretty cool place
We really enjoyed this resort. It is just off the main road, not far of a bike ride to the Atlantic. Also close to plenty of shops, groceries and a movie theater. Right in from of the resort is a mini golf and fun center. We happened to be around when there was a small pop-up farmers market right outside the park, which was about a 2 minute walk for us. The sites are plenty shady and forested. We had such a great time there and will certainly be back.

We have been going there for almost 11 years. It is a great place to go camping. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Located in Wells Maine. Lots to do there.
I stayed there with my wife this summer and it was a pleasure. The woman I spoke with on the phone was very pleasant. Upon my arrival the staff was very helpful in getting me set up in the field, as I was a day early. The day of my official check in the staff was excellent in getting us settled in. The grounds were very well kept and clean. I highly recommend this location.

Too expensive for its condition. Cable tv and internet extra. Conveniently had no P.A. sites available. But the office people were helpful and nice.
Great campground. The 30 amp sites are tight for trailers over 30 feet, but still good. Nice neighbors, and good neighbors. They have a great pool, hot tub, members lounge, decent activities for the kids. More on the weekends. I like to relax, and I definitely do

Sites are very small and there is zero privacy. Our 28 foot Winnebago barely fit so larger rigs beware. Lots of tree shade which was nice. Clean bathrooms and excellent shower stalls with great water pressure and water was hot immediately. Major renovations (expansion?) currently underway at the front of the campground. Our Verizon hotspot was extremely slow but phone calls were ok. Wifi and/or cable was available for a fee but we did not partake. Also did not use the spa.
We really enjoyed our stay at Moody Beach campground in Maine. They have a shuttle that will carry you to a remote beach outside of town and that was also quite enjoyable. Theres a trolley system that runs up and down the highway in front of the park that was easy to catch unless theres a traffic jam in town. The park itself has several amenities that appealed to both my partner and I and our 15 year old. They have crafts on the weekend, which we decided to do, and that proved to be fun. Our 15 year-old met a lot of kids his age who he ran with throughout our visit, playing basketball and hide and go seek. They also hung out at the pool a bit. My partner and I enjoyed the evening swimming plus the pool is open until 10. The staff were very nice. The spaces are a little odd as you might be required to parallel park into them but we had no issue in our 30-foot C-Class. We would go back again

I love this place! The staff is amazingly friendly. We stayed in a cabin. It was very clean and had everything you would need for your stay. Very dog friendly!! Thanks for a great first trip to Maine.
First entry was by walkie-talkie at the gate, to office after several tries in the rain. Unorganized office didnt know what sites were available to fit our large 5th wheel with slides unit, sent us to one that was already occupied, then drove through back to the office, we received a list of open sites, had to walk the park in the rain, found one open but it wasnt on the list, when we checked at office it too was open. Most sites are facing each other along the roads. Annual campers are intermixed so we shared our front space with a lot of stuff from the permanent camper facing us. At least one site had a permanent 5th wheel parked into the road, so that another unit could not use the site next to it. (This was evidenced by the damage to the permanent unit.) I stopped in the ladies bathroom by the office and found toilet paper in only the first stall of many. Cable TV was an extra fee. Poor multiple first impressions ruined our rainy day in a beautiful area.
Raymond was great! He helped me get hooked up and everything and even showed me how to use everything, since this is my first motorhome!
We camped here for a week while we explored the area. The campground is in good shape and the staff are polite and helpful.
Disappointed when we arrived for our best friends parents funeral to camp for the weekend after calling and they verified we could have a late checkout a month earlier. We we were checking in, we then asked if we could move the RV to the overflow parking. They said they could not tell us. No matter what we discussed including paying for a few more hours would not work.
Wonderful place to camp! Alice in the main office is amazing and works very hard to make her customers happy! She’s absolutely wonderful!
Moody Beach is by far one of the most friendly, family oriented camp grounds I have ever been to. The bathrooms are extremely clean, the pool is awesome, the hot tub is a great bonus. Theres plenty of parks for kids to play at. The staff are so helpful and you can tell they really care for everyone that comes to Moody Beach. I would highly reccomend this campground to anyone searching for a weekend get away or even seasonal camping. We love Moody Beach!

The people that run the campground are very nice and helpful. You can walk to the ocean or take their shuttle. Excellent facilities and location for the price.
The website said wifi included, it isnt but it can be purchased for an extra $4.95 a day. The beds/pillows were extremely uncomfortable. And they ask you to clean (sweep, do dishe, etc. before you leave). Smaller than I thought as well. It was pretty expensive for a step up from tent camping. I will opt for a hotel next time.
Pretty good for what it is. Nice quiet little spot with all the usual amenities. Every size of rv here. Facilities maintained well. Part of the thousand trails membership. Good proximity to many popular points of local interest & entertainment venues.
Functional butbut rustic trailer rental in a campground with playground, great pool for little kids and spa for the adults, set behind a mini golf/arcade in the heart of where you want to be in Wells, Maine. Pros: convenient, nice flat screen TV with basic cable/sat for the kids, full shower with plentiful hot water, nice little deck with picnic table. Cons: the trailers are very close to each other (better close those curtains, lol), and feels a little like youre staying in a trailer parkpark. The smaller trailers are also old and outdated, and could have been a lot cleaner (curtains washed, shower curtain replaced; youve gotta forgive a few spider webs in this environment).All in all, a convenient and cheaper option than a hotel or B&B if youre staying a few days, and honestly my kids loved the pool enough, and I loved not having to pack up a tent and campsite in the rain, to make it worth the money for such an old trailer.

Nice place. Free for us with our Thousand Trails membership. Parking is quite tight, but doable with some maneuvering in our 41 ft 5th wheel. Level sites, but of course we have the one site with the huge dip in our parking....and it rained for a week. Muddy! Attentive staff noticed and brought us several buckets of rock the next day. Clean, safe, well laid out, free cable for the week, activities for kids...but the best part??? HOT showers with some serious water pressure!!! Total score for FT RVers!

Freedoms are nice versus other camp grounds. This one has a pool, hot tub, playground, and recreational facility with arcade and dance room.
This place is quiet and well kept up and lots of things to do and it is reasonably priced. It is short drive to beaches and other amenities.The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were only there for three days but we would definitely go back. We stayed in one of the camper rentals. Ours was old but clean and in good shape, they have several newer models available. The only drawback was that the unit we stayed in had a double bed and it was too short to us, but since we were only there for three nights it was no big deal. We will definitely rent one with a queen bed the next time. By 10:00 pm you could hear a pin drop it was so quiet. We are beach people so we didnt use the pool or spa but both looked well kept and clean.
Staff was excellent helpful. Located close to everything. Traffic was horrendous I took a trip to the grocery store 2 miles away 40 minutes have to be a very aggressive driver

Wonderful place to stay near beautiful Maine beaches. Sites are a bit small on private space, but long enough for the largest 5th wheels and coaches to fit comfortably. Nice pool and other amenities, right next door to a mini golf, arcade, and go cart entertainment place. There is also a shuttle van to the beach for a couple of dollars.
We rented one of their cabin trailers and it was amazing!My kids loved being able to ride their bikes to the game room, pool and recreation center. The campground gave us an entertainment schedule for the weekend when we checked in so we know what was available for both adults and kids everyday. I would recommend this place to anyone who has kids.
Absolutely a wonderful place. We spent 3 days here, and was not disappointed. Very close to many attractions, and the ocean ! The staff here are superb !! We plan on a return visit !!
Comfortable campground. Near beaches, restaurants, shopping and other tourist/camper attractions.
Customer service needs to improve. Manager should be more aware and supportive of the customers instead of staff members. Pool could use cleaning later in the day and the roads are bumpy. Not sure I will be going back because of customer service issues.
We didnt take advantage of a lot of the amenities available here, but it was clean, quiet and convenient
I didnt see lot of RVs by the time I was there.
We had a 50 amp side by side hookup site in the back of the campground and we have never felt so claustrophobic in all our camping history. The sites are very close together and what made it even more so was the fact that we were surrounded by seasonal campers who seem to spread their belongings out everywhere. The person next to us had a car and a canopy style tent more than 10 feet into our campsite and it was obvious that it had been there all summer so management must allow the seasonals quite a bit of slack in what they are allowed to do in their sites. We would not return to this or any other Thousand Trails resort.
We went here for the mini golf & had the MOST fun !!!! Very good place to take the family, things to do for everybody, plenty of free parking & the staff couldnt be nicer....honestly, if you are up their way, stop in for some fun....

Clean and well run
Cottage was very clean and comfortable but very run down... Broken window casings, stained ceilings from leaky roof, broken light switch, toilet clog (the latter two were fixed during our stay). Was very surprised by the inferior quality of the unit, itself, but pleased with how clean it was.
Stayed here for 4 nights in early October 2015 in a 35 motorhome with 50A service. Stayed in site 199, had a concrete patio and was a pull thru as all the 50A sites are. The last two rows of the 50A full service sites had concrete patios.Staff was very accommodating with information. Would definitely stay here again under my Thousand Trails membership.
We stayed for 2 nights in a 50 AMP, full-hookup, and pull-through RV site. Roads to sites are narrow, especially when people park their cars near their RVs. Bathrooms and showers were dirty; they need to be cleaned more frequently during peak season. Overall, this RV park is old and needs updating with renovations. Site reservation system they have is old and outdated; so you are not guaranteed the kind of site you need. It met minimum expectations for an RV resort type park.
Camping sites are very close to each other. However the amenities were nice. Also very close to the beach
My friends were kicked out of the park because the customer service person Kristi reported my friends husband because he was being friendly in the store to her. The police were called and my friends were told to leave the park and did not have a place to stay. This is not the first time Kristi has been weird and rude as a customer service person. I have experienced her attitude too! Will never go back. We complained but nothing was done about it.
I think that the ladies at the front desk have no clue on how to make reservations. I booked two tent sites when we arrived the tent sites were taken the lady at the desk said just go get two different ones so I did now a month later a twenty five dallor charge was on my account I called them and the lady at the office said I cancelled myrreservation but I stayed there I said she said you must of cancelled. Be careful of what they charge you for the next month. I never got a refund, and would not recommend anyone to trust these crooks.
This campground is unorganized. The gate was not locked so it felt unsafe. Bathrooms were a mess when I went to take a shower and the roads had holes and sites were not attractive, facing each other and really close to each other. Would not recommend!!

Checked this camping area out. Looking to bring our 45 ft 5th wheel in for a week. Lots much to close together, roads not that wide with campers an vehicles parked on both sides. Just not to our liking. Area we drove thru was clean.
