Not happy with this place at all. The girl at the front desk told us we could make up a class, come to find out we can’t. Then we have two classes left but they call and say we have completed them and asked if we wanted to pay for more. What?!! You have to pay $8 for a swim cap that they don’t even make you wear, and when they are closed for a holiday that you were scheduled for, you can’t make that class up either. The communication and ethics here are terrible. My son went to big fish little fish, and they were wonderful. Don’t spend your money here.
Be careful with this place. They will take money out of you for nothing if they have your credit card information and say it was a mistake. Also, they don’t like it if you have to reschedule for a makeup lessons, it has to be done via email not phone and Howard (the person in charge for rescheduling) doesn’t check emails often. It took 3 days for him to respond and I told him my son had surgery and couldn’t get into water for the next 2 weeks I haven’t got any response from him and it’s been more than 2 weeks!!
My daughter Sydney loves it and begs to go daily, I will be signing her up 2 times a week after my groupon ends.I am very pleased after two lessons she is floating her teacher is patient and caring too the kids.
I am so thankful we decided to take my son to the British Swim School, I just wish we had done it sooner! My son loves to swim and I know its because of the confidence he built working with the fabulous swim instructors and staff. As a parent, I feel a huge sense of relief knowing that my son is safer knowing how to swim. I highly recommend the British Swim School to anyone, especially those who have tried lessons at other places and were unsuccessful.
I spoke with Wendy (front desk) yesterday and scheduled a swim class for my 16 month old for the next day. She mentioned that I can register before the class. I showed up 10 minutes prior to the class and there was a woman having a conflict with Wendy going back and forth about an email. Nevertheless, I was waiting there for 5 minutes until Wendy asked how she can help me and I told her who I was and here for the tadpole class, she looks at the clock and said oh no your too late! it was 4:55 at this point. She continues to tell me that It takes 15 minutes to register and will miss half the class. In addition, that I will need to reschedule the class! I said I drove all the way over here (30 min) due to rush hour and it raining and now you cannot allow me to take the class because of a 15 minute registration process! Absurd because doctors registrations are lengthy and it takes me 5 minutes to fill out and process. I asked if I can give her my information, license, credit card, sign the waiver etc real quick. She made a big deal and overall said NO. She was NOT accommodating what so ever and told me she cannot do 3 things at once. I walked out and told her she just lost a $200 monthly paying customer! There business ethics and communication skills are extremely poor. There are other Swim Schools out there and they will continue to lose business if they follow this pattern.
My twins have attended the swim school for 2 years and the skills they have learned are astonishing. More importantly, they taught them water survival!! The customer service is excellent as well.
I paid for my foster daughter to have a month of swimming lessons via Groupon. Attended two lessons we were informed that she was owed some make make-up lessons then told that because we had purchase from Groupon we were not entitled to this. Tried to attend the 6pm class on a Wednesday to be told that my daughter was not allowed to attend because she had to many students. The look on my daughter’s face was shock and sadness. Lessons are also only 30 minutes long.We also had other issues with changing dates and payment related matters. They took a payment of $194.00 from my husband’s credit card. When I explained that we had paid via Groupon already, they did refund the monies.Very poor ethics and communication. Extremely disappointed with this company and would not recommend.
When my daughter started swim lessons at British Swim School in Wellington, she was afraid of the water and we practically had to bribe her to go anywhere near the pool. Today at age 3, she can swim the length of our swimming pool and absolutely loves the water! She learned everything about swimming from the British Swim School.BSS in Wellington rocks! Thank you, thank you, thank you! She loves the water and we (her parents) feel much more comfortable having a pool in the yard.
Weve been with BSS for a year now. My daughter and niece both attend/attended together. My niece graduated the program a month ago and my daughter is still in the program and they both love BSS. The staff and instructors are great. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend BSS if you want your child to learn survival and learn to swim. Thank you BSS.
My kids swam here for years and loved it. Staff is so friendly and facilities are very clean .
Good teachers
