Joyce Crawfords Music Academy is absolutely top notch. I interviewed several private instructors and schools before making the decision to go with her. Personally, I take piano and voice and am amazed at how much weve covered since I started with her three months ago. My main focus going in was that I wanted to have a well-rounded foundation in music theory as well as maintaining a high standard in an engaging way. Music is Joyces passion and craft that she has dedicated her whole life to. Ive never come across anyone who can match her technical expertise as well as the attention and care that she provides to her students. This music academy is simply the very best academy! Also, Dr. Joyce Crawford is an outstanding instructor! Today, our daughter is 16 years old. When she was younger, we signed her up for dance classes. Ballet first, then later, Jazz. She very much enjoyed her dance classes! Later, while still taking Jazz classes (Dance), My husband and I, noticed our daughters growing interest in playing not only classical music, but also other styles. Shortly after, she asked us if she could take piano lessons. We were happily surprised and soon signed her up for piano lessons at a school that was not too far from our home. Her instructor at that time, was okay, but we felt that she was giving our daughter cookie - cutter lessons... and even though our daughter was practicing for a long time every single day, she was not progressing as much as her best friend. I called them on the same day, and after learning all lesson options, I reserved the month of piano lessons for our daughter right away. I must share that on the day our daughter had started to take lessons with Dr, Joyce Crawford, my husband and I could tell right away that our daughter was very happy! I had taken my daughter to lessons and had the pleasure to meet with Dr. Joyce Crawford. She is professional, kind, and very knowledgeable! After lessons, my husband and I noticed that our daughter had already learned a lot on the very first lesson and was eager to continue taking lessons! Dr. Joyce Crawford created a lesson plan specifically for our daughter, which we thought was absolutely great! In a couple of weeks, my husband and I were amazed with how fast she was learning with Ms. Joyce Crawford! Our daughter was playing beautifully and continued to progress! Our daughter continued taking lessons with Dr. Joyce Crawford, and today, our daughter played Nocturn by Chopin, at a well known piano competition and... She won! Our daughter got first place! Joyce Crawford is a phenomenal teacher who has helped me unlock my voice. Id been singing with lots of effort for years, and after a few lessons with her I began to sing almost effortlessly! She will teach you ways to place your voice that makes singing feel so easy, she gives you the knowledge to think, self-correct, and understand why something is or isnt working. Joyce Crawford is very experienced, dedicated and truly one of the best teachers in any discipline Ive come across with. Highly recommend her!

Joyce is absolutely the best music teacher I have ever had. She is friendly, always a smile on her face and she makes sure you understand and can play the lesson before moving on. I am only two months in on piano and grateful that I am learning correct technique from the beginning.Joyce is a hard working wonderful lady and I feel fortunate to have a spot in her busy schedule of students. Dr. Joyce Crawford is an outstanding artist and instructor! I wish I had found her 2 years ago. Two years ago was persuaded to sign up for piano group lessons. Today, I can say that was an absolute waste of my money and time. I have noticed that a lot of people think, like I did in the past, that one can and will learn in group lessons, as much as they would learn when taking private lessons. That is simply an illusion. Not even close! After I started taking privatel piano lessons with Dr. Crawford, I learned how much more worth private lessons truly are. Specially with Dr. Crawford. Ms. Joyce Crawford is an amazing piano and voice instructor! We are very impressed with her teaching capabilities, teaching experience, knowledge, kindness, honesty, and professionalism. Ms. Joyce Crawford is a wonderful teacher! My daughter has been taking piano and voice lessons with Joyce Crawford since age 5. Ive been taking lessons with Ms. Crawford for about six months.
