Friendly and well kept community with two beautiful golf courses

Love the place excellent currently my girlfriend works there great people and management.

Wycliffe has an older population. Most of the residents are well over 60 years of age. The grounds are beautiful, as are the amenities. But, you get what you pay for. Country club membership is mandatory and runs upwards of $70,000. Plus the monthly fees for membership are also quite steep. Home values are down about 25% over the last 20 years, due to the mandatory membership in the club.

We took 1 3/4 hours for 9 holes and then 3 1/4 hours for the next 9. Same the following day. This is unacceptable. Course good.

I visited a friend. It is a beautiful place to live if you play golf. Not cheap homes.

We had a golf Tournament early this Saturday morning. The golf pro staff was great. The course was in excellent condition, there is an area that has some construction around a pond but that was well out of the way and didnt provide an problems. The food at the award ceremony was very good and the staff was professional and courteous! I would love the opportunity to go back again and play another round now that Im better familiar with the course.

The food is great. The only thing that could be improved is a full court basketball court only for basketball

The new clubhouse is spectacular. The food and presentation was lovely.

The food at the club is outrageously good, prepared to perfection. The place is beautifully kept. Everyone very professional and friendly.

Two Great golf courses

I have lived here with my husband over 20 years.It is not giving me the living experience i should be getting for what i pay in feesVery disappointing.You pay thru the nose and whatever you want to do you pay extra for.I do like the security and how fast you can get medical help if necessary. But thats it.

Lovely tennis facility

My son went for his 8th Grade Prom and he stated the dance floor cracked in several places.

For me to move to Florida full time would require an outstanding Experience in a Country Club, and Wycliffe has fulfilled its goal. I was a seven year part timer and I am actively selling my house to make it full time in Wycliffe . Great members, a fantastic board, and superior managers, are working to insure that it stays on top. Everything is here and I love the amenities. I lived in New York for 33 years and I believe I can enjoy a more active retirement in Florida simply because outside activities keep a person younger. Cannot wait!!!!

I have a friend that lives here, it is a nice community, but I wish the lines and wait time just to get in would be shorter. Specially if I have been there before and Im friend is expecting me. Other than that the facilities are really nice.

There are so many homes for sale and foreclosures because people are just realizing they cant afford the ridiculously expensive membership fees.

Home values are good. But for the sake of transparency, its important for potential homeowners to know the price of admission. $20k initiation fee; $48k equity for full golf ($36k limited); up to $12k annual dues.

Great place to visit. Nice tennis courts. Excellent Sunday Brunch.

I Worked here in 1988. Did the Functions, in the in the Dinning Room at the Club House for the Gulf Members, Breakfast, Lunch and Fri and Saterday, all 3 Breakfast, Lunch,and Dinner.Full Courses. And Catered, Private functions. Served Beer out on the courses, during the PGA, tounaments.

Went for dinner and it was great. The staff could not have been nicer.
