Davis Museum

Museum is well organized, neat, and has great art! I have been here a couple times so far and I look forward to the next time I return here. The art within the museum is a variety and is incredible. I have been to a variety of art museums and I believe this is one of my favorite art museums because it’s unique, better art in my opinion compared to other art museums, well organized and easy to navigate around, and I enjoy the architecture of the museum building itself. I recommend this museum and recommend that you visit at least once!

Beautiful museum with some great pieces. Surprisingly large and well laid out. Some great rotating selections also. Located on a beautiful wooded campus. Spacious and a great space to walk through.

An astounding collection for such a small college.Excellent work done by staff in the stories told about the artists and how each fits into his or her context, no surprise given Wellesleys art departments sterling reputation.More striking for me was the intentional theme of the important contributions of the immigrants who were the artists and often the donors of the art -- their stories as immigrants. Sometimes what that had meant in their lives and how their immigration contributed to us left a powerful, if only implicit, invitation to wonder.

The paintings are good. Museum is not very large but experience is wonderful. The building is designed by Rafael Moneo.

I love this place. There is no charge but it has some wonderful exhibits of classical as well as modern art. And there are always new visiting exhibits (sometimes for a fee). Definitely worth visiting a few times a year.

Went in the hopes of instilling an appreciation for the art in my favorite little artist. It is a nice place, with an interesting assortment of... Stuff.

Fun, Informative and Free. Great place to spend a couple of hours, never fails to be a good time. It is free, but you can leave them some money in the jar to help out.

A lovely place! They have a very clean and beautiful environment there. They make activities for kids some days

Museum is good. The staff in on the first floor was rude. Following you every where and kick people out when there was still time to enjoy art. Even explained to him would leave before closing.

Love this museum! Unsuspecting breadth and depth of art from this on-campus museum. Exhibits a wide range of artists and some very poignant pieces. Also love their subtle statement demonstrating how deeply our art would be impacted by rigid immigration bans and reforms.

Beautiful place for art at Wellesley!

Not outstanding but decent

I called and am writing to shout from the rooftops how COURAGEOUS Wellesley and Davis Museum are for standing up and speaking out! I hope their impetus encourages others to do the same. BRAVO!!!

Cool place we did some work in, they deffinatly have alot of interesting things in there, a must to check out

The museum chose to cover, take down, or otherwise hide works by immigrants in order to highlight their contributions. This ridiculous misguided gesture has nothing to do with the illegal alien crisis. The current situation has nothing to do with immigrants but everything to do with illegals. VERY POOR FORM.

Wonderful collection, free and open to the public. A hidden gem.
