We always enjoy staying here. We stay further up in the mountain where the trees are. But drive down to swim an enjoy the sunshine.

Love it.. beautiful scenery

This is a great place to fish, boat, swim, and picnic. Been going here since I was a kid. Prepare to bring water shoes and if you have long- haired dogs, note that there are a lot of cockleburs. Drive further up to find creeks, forest, and campgrounds, not too far. Great area to explore!

Very mushy muddy to get into the water about 10 feet & big sticker-looking things (sorry I dont know what its called). You would want to wear shoes but the downside is the shoes get stuck in the mud. So if you can handle hurrying through the stickery things then youre fine. Water is nice for swimming. We were by the dock so I dont know if that makes a difference it was my first time there. Plenty of trees for shade. Sandy beaches. Overall we had fun but not my favorite place at least that particular spot.

Dont go into the water around this time there is swimmers itch. In case you do decide to go down to the water use dawn dish soap. There is a problem with meat bees.

Its a quiet place. Beautiful ravine, ending into a lake. Quick place to fish and camp!!!

Fantastic location for the solar eclipse! Had a great time. Facilities were well maintained.

No shade by the lake. There are pine trees when you head up the mountain. The fishing is not great either, at least not the few times we have gone. The camping is kinda limited by the lake and a few spots up the mountain.

Pretty low traffic camping. We were alone the whole weekend.
