Do you love Hamilton? Then this place is a must see. It doesn’t matter that it’s down below that the action happened, this is pretty close. It’s such an interesting part of the history of the country. So go pay your respect to the somewhat once forgotten founding father.

Ousting and WORLD CLASS view from the actual site and the park about 100ft north. Between that and the history behind it all it makes it a must for the tourists. Lots of folks get their wedding photos done there. The park area is always kept VERY well. The site of the duel is small and fenced off...you will see it by looking just south of the park, it has a tall American Flag flying just about all the time....illuminated at night of course.

Nice little historical park with markers and great views of the city. If you’re in the area, you should stop by; parking is free for four hours at nearby Hamilton Park. Cheers.

Park is currently closed but the Hamilton/Burr marker is still accessible to the right of the park. Great views of Manhattan and well-worth the stop for the view alone.

When Hamilton was killed in the duel with Burr, I am sure the Manhattan skyline did not look like this. And if you like skylines and old homes, Weehawken will satisfy both.

Great views of NYC from the Jersey side with a little piece of some cool history thrown in. Parking is tight, but worth the try. Nice place to stroll and take in the view.

Great historical monument to an interesting time in history. Features great views and a swanky neighborhood. The actual monument is slightly hidden from the public and could use more signage. Glad to have walked by though as it was a fun moment to appreciate the history.

One of the man historic spots we visited in NYC today. The park is well kept and beautiful with a jaw dropping view of the New York City skyline.For such a quick drive under the Hudson this is a spot history buffs do not want to miss out on when visiting the city.

Awesome after lunch destination during the middle of the work day. No crowds, parking was available, and the weather cooperated for the day.Definitely a must see of the NY Skyline.

You want to go when the sun is low in the morning or late in the afternoon or early evening so you can see details in your photos. I took the ferry over from 39th st Manhattan to Wehawken/ port imperial. Great ride. Great view of the city $18 round trip. 20 minute walk after docking that includes a steep climb up the cliff on a metal staircase. Still totally fun & worth it if youre a history and/ or Hamilton fan

If you love Hamilton, then you will want to visit this historic spot during your next trip to NYC or New Jersey. This has a great view of the New York skyline and the Hudson, making it a perfect spot for a panoramic shot.

Its a tiny little area with a plaque and little else. Its silly to see but insane to pass up. Theres a nice (small isnt the right word, but its a very small) park nearby, but the history of the place is what makes it remarkable. If you find yourself at Hamilton Park and cant find the statues, walk south.

Interesting monument and a nice view of Manhattan. Youll have to be pretty into history or a big fan of Hamilton. If neither, Im not sure why youd stop by (unless you do it on a lark).

My daughter is a big fan of Hamilton the musical, so we made a point to stop to see this historical place. Nice neighborhood and we easily parked along the street free of charge. Stayed about 20 min and enjoyed the view of NYC across the bay.

Cool experience, came to Broadway to watch Hamilton. Leaving on the same day his duel happened.. you have to walk up a ways from the actual Park to see this but its marked as the that he laid on after he was shot. Very tragic

Beautiful views of the NYC skyline on what is suppose to be a historic site tucked into a non assuming area. Can get very busy especially on the weekends but during the week virtually empty. Nice few minutes to kill if you’re in the area.

Great views of Manhattan from the site. That in itself makes the visit worthwhile. A simple monument marks the site around where Hamilton was shot in the famous duel. You can see the rock where supposedly hamilton laid his head. A few other notable people were involved in duels as well.

Wish you could see more of where the duel occurred but 20 feet above is pretty awesome.

Beautiful views across to Manhattan

If you are a fan of Hamilton the musical, this is a great place to see. The views of Manhattan are amazing and the history of these dueling grounds is incredible. We took the bus and it was a quick, cheap ride. There was quite a hike up a super steep staircase but we were really glad we made this a stop on our NYC adventure.

It is great how they persevered a bit of this site. Beautiful view!
