Great place to get out and shoot in a more realistic environment. Much better than an indoor stand and plink place. Real world scenarios prepare you for the unknown.

Fantastic facility, the range owner is very educated in the area of fire arms. Ranges are great, I myself used the 100 yard range. There is a platform you can shoot from the prone, kneeling or sitting positions. Will definitely be back

Not crowded. Know their stuff. Outdoor range - bring rain gear and sun screen as needed! Had a great time taking my wife and my daughter (her first time to shoot).

Ive taken several classes from Tommy at Texas Tactical including Law Enforcement, Civilian, & some continuing education classes. Its a small family owned business & has some of the best instructors Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. Tommy Taylor is one of the best instructors you could ask for & takes the time to make sure nobody falls behind & everyone understands what they are there to learn. Some of my classes include Tactical Medic, Patrol Rifle, Rappelling, handgun proficiency (both law enforcement & civilian). If you want a family friendly place with the best instructors, Texas Tactical wont let you down.

This past weekend, my two sons and a family friend and myself had the pleasure of visiting Texas Tactical. Granted, it was a bit of a drive from Hurst, TX, but one we will happily make again. Once we arrived, the staff was very friendly, they asked how we found out about them(Spartan Tactical) after signing the waivers and joking around a bit, we realized my one son had forgotten his jacket, they went in the back and grabbed one of their own jackets and let him use it. They told us what range we would be using and then followed us out to our vehicles and loaded all of our firearms and gear into their Rhino and carted it to the range canopy area. We proceeded to enjoy ourselves for about an hour and a half. Cleaned up after ourselves and went to check out and return the jacket. As our friend had left early, a few jokes were made about where we put the body and they provided us some additional information and we promised to be back soon.If you want a great environment to shoot in, friendly staff and lots of room to shoot, head out to Texas Tactical. We will definitely back again!!!

Best range around for combat vets.Its open outdoors, standard CQB Qual range distances are marked on two of the three distance lanes.Allows for practicing various combat drills with rifle/pistol combo.Owner is experienced combat vet and tactical instructor, very laid back and reasonable.Theres all this wreckage of shot up vehicles and obstacles all over the place, because its a full scale tactical training site.I havent seen anything like this since SOTG shooters package. Its great, 10/10 will go back.
