Calm, healing, serenity, fun in the sun & on the lake. Every morning the sun rose over the mountain behind the cabin, around the left side of the full kitchen window display which shone the glory of the lake in full view 24/7. We stayed in cabin 5 Lakeshore right on the water, and we had use of the canoe, kayaks and paddle boards all week. The beach front was fun in the sand, and the indoor swimming pool was cool with a square hot tub that was warming like a bath. What a wonderful season for us as states opened up their recreation businesses slowly in June 2020 during COVID, abiding the restrictions and mandated protocols. I highly recommend Lake Shore Village Resort in Weare, NH. Michael was wonderful to work with and extremely helpful during a stressful period in time. I wish success to this place of serenity for years to come. Also to all present and future owners and care takers who take such good care of this place. My Fiance and I are getting married here, so we decided to stay for a long weekend to get a better feel of the space. We could not have had a better time, such an amazing view from cabin 6, and a great value for the house and the amenities. Michael, the owner, was super accessible and made sure we were all having a great time throughout the weekend, and Susan, our wedding planner has been great throughout the entire process of us planning our wedding. If you are looking for a wedding venue or looking for a fun getaway, this is definitely the place to go.
This venue was literally INCREDIBLE. I cannot tell you how much of an amazing time my guests and my husband and I had here!! It was SO nice having an entire weekend (we actually spent a week) with our family and friends rather than just having one day go by oh so quickly. It literally felt like vacation which I think is really hard to say for any other venue. We spent our time in front of bonfires, grilling and chilling with our closest family and friends, and fishing off the beautiful docks with the most beautiful view. The owner let us rent the pontoon boat for the week and it made the stay even more magical. There were many different activities for every one and all ages to enjoy all weekend, including our bonfire and pizza party in the smaller, beautiful tent on Friday night, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, etc. The grounds were maintained beautifully and so were the AMAZING CABINS. It was so cool to see the actual owner and his family out on the beach Friday and Saturday morning cleaning up the beach and making the grounds look perfect. The convenience of everything being right at the venue, including our guests, was INCREDIBLE. We want to go back every year. I have so many amazing things to say that it is impossible to sum it up in a paragraph. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend this venue. It is worth every penny.

I wish I could get married here again... Im writing this review 2 weeks after our wedding and I still have people raving about all aspects of Lake Shore! The cabins, grounds and beach, the set-up for the wedding itself, and SUSAN! Susan, the wedding coordinator, is amazing. She is on top of everything and mades the whole process as easy as possible. I can be a bit of a control freak and I trusted her 100% with everything the weekend of the wedding, especially the wedding day. Her focus is to allow the bride and groom along with their families to have a great time and ENJOY their wedding. The owner and other staff at Lake Shore were also excellent. I dont have a single bad thing to say about our wedding and the process at Lake Shore.
Beautiful place. Well maintained. Owners are great. Only downside is they do not recycle (which seems odd for a place where nature is so important).
Fantastic wedding venue!! Incredible staff and ownership combined with gorgeous cabins and location make for a fun and stress free wedding experience. Imagine having an incredibly fun and enjoyable wedding weekend with all of your friends and family staying in the same location. Top that off with a farewell pancake breakfast on the beach!!

Visited for an amazing wedding! Beautiful view and extremely nice and helpful staff. Cabins were clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend for a wedding venue or for a week in the summer with your family.

This place is amazing! I have been coming here since I was a kid. Michael does a fantastic job running the business. Very clean, quiet and family friendly.
Awesome place, great, caring, and fun owners. 2nd family trip here and I am sure we will be back. Get some blueberry pancakes on Sunday morning, lobster bake Monday night, rent a pontoon boat and chill on the lake. Some nice golf courses in the area too.

Wonderful time - the weather unfortunately did not cooperate but the cabin was beautiful, clean and had everything. We brought our own lasagna supper had plenty of space for 7 - then played ping-pong in their rec room... I want to go back when it is not 50 degrees and rainy in the middle of May!
Didnt stay here, but Ive got a private property nearby. I walk through the resort all the time, and if I werent already a resident Id definitely come here for a vacation. Brand new cottages, and a lovely waterfront area with numerous activities suitable for all ages. Plenty of family fun, as well as a gorgeous wedding location!
Great little lake, went here many times as a kid. Lots of fun stuff to do in the area.
We have not stayed yet but it looks wonderful! Fall of 2020 we will rent a cabin!

Family reunion here was the perfect vacation for us, because we were together, in separate cottages, right on the lake.Everything we needed was here, or within a 15 minute to half hour drive. Beautiful setting, and generous hosts!I highly recommend you check them out. They host weddings here, too.

The owner of the property can be pretty ride but the view is stunning.
We love it here. Kayaking,boating,fishing,lobster dinner on the beach,my five year old loves the beach with playground, and the indoor pool and Jacuzzi! We hope to make this a family tradition!

We have been going to the lake for more than 20 years. Its my favorite place to be, its just beautiful and very relaxing. The colburn family are just wonderful.

Our wedding was last weekend, September 17th, at Lake Shore Village Resort. Everything about the venue, from location to the people we worked with, could not have been more perfect. Erika, the venue coordinator was absolutely spectacular. She was so friendly and completely accessible, and responded to my (MANY) emails/calls thoroughly and in no more than 24 hours. She made our weekend completely stress free, and I am unbelievably thankful for that.We had the venue for the entire weekend, and each day was absolutely perfect. We had our rehearsal on the beach and rehearsal dinner in a small tented area off of the beach on Friday night, followed by a bonfire on the beach. Saturday while I (the bride) and my party were in our ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL cabin getting ready, I was able to watch our family and friends playing on the beach, taking kayaks and paddle boards out and around the lake and just genuinely having a good time. Our ceremony was right on the beach, and the reception was underneath the very spacious tented area. Our guests were in awe of the beautiful view, as were we. Sunday following the wedding, there was a delicious pancake breakfast back under the smaller tent.LSVR exceeded our wedding dreams tenfold. It was breathtaking in every aspect and having the venue for the whole weekend meant we could enjoy it even longer!Thank you to everyone at LSVR for helping to make our day absolutely unforgettable and more perfect than we could ever have imagined!
We went to view the property as a porential venue for our wedding and immediately fell in love with the property and the staff. It is beyond words, just so breath taking.
