This is a one of a kind festival like no other. Were so lucky to have such an amazing festival in our area it is so important to preserving world culture, as many of the cultures and traditions are in danger of being diluted by the changes of our modern world.

Folkmoot is great every year. I try and catch at least 2 performance every year. Dont miss the parade on Main St in Waynesville. I also went to the Kids Carnival which was fun for the whole family. We really enjoyed the music, dancing and food trucks.

It is a org. That puts on a fantastic folk festiva l every July. They also do small events through the year to educate the community about other countries & cultures.

A wonderful organization. They also have spaces you can rent for an event.

It is a great experience for sharing in cultures from around the world.

Easy too find nice choice of shops and good prices can be found.
