I just come here for the food ... and the food is simply awesome! Everything is delicious. I havent tried anything I didnt like. The fries are cooked to perfection and may be the best thing on the menu. But, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and soups are all great. I would put them up against any in all of Detroit. In addition, the staff is super friendly, helpful, and always available.

Everyone at this course is very nice. The course is in decent condition. The only reasons why the greens arent in great shape is because most golfers arent fixing their ball marks. Amenities were better than expected. Great value, right off the freeway, cold beer. Couldnt ask for much more.

Very well maintained course. Not very long; longest hole is only about 460 yard par 5, but lots of dog legs that will challenge those who cant hit 250+. Flat greens. Good for beginner to intermediate golfers.

Decent layout that gets a lot of play. Our round was about 4-1/2 hrs, which isnt unreasonable on a Saturday at 11.Given the amount of usage it was in fairly good shape.

Decent challenge; greens hold and are decently quick. Players need to be more aware of pace and repairs on the greens! Grill is very good. The course offers an affordable and attractive membership!

The course is solid, not especially challenging or well maintained, but a fun track. But the smell is awful. The dump is next door and on hot days it is unbearable.

Good place for some golf close by, unfortunately they will be closing down the end of 2018.

Great course. Too bad it is being taken over by the dump. What a shame! I dont understand how the township could give up all that wetlands.

Was a wonderful place to dj a wedding reception. The staff was very courteous and polite. Tracy was very good to work with and she helped me in anyway that I needed.

In my opinion very well maintained golf course could use a little work on the cart paths outside of that very nice course

Great place but they are closing. Its going to be another garbage dump. What the hell is wrong with Van Buren township and the state.

Good course for the price. Conditions are good and greens are medium-fast. Course is a little short but conditions make up for it. One of my favs

This course, driving range and putting/chipping green is very close by and has excellent service. The turf is well-kept, the food there is amazing, and they offer astounding deals. All in all, the Woodlands of Van Buren has the whole package.

Friendly people, good prices, and a very nice golf course in great shape.

Way to expensive. Cost almost 90 bucks after 9 hokes, a water and Gatorade and a few balls. Wont be back here again. I normally dont get sticker shock but this time I was.

The greens are very challenging . Tough course for those who cannot hit the ball straight. Good carts and decent green fees .

Really nice course, gave it four stars because I lost 6 balls out there. I am not sure if that is the courses fault, but I am going to blame them to make myself feel better..LOL!

Course not maintained at all. Sand traps are like rock. The old guy at the counter was super weird. The only benefit is that $25 twilight starts after 2pm. And I cant bring my own beer. Place sucks.

Gotta get the players club. Only 30 bucks a month to use up to 20 bucks a day of range balls.. worth it for new or experienced

I had my wedding at The Woodlands, everything from Start to Finish was amazing! The room looked beautiful, the Staff was attentive, I recieved many compliments on the food, I had a blast. I would reccomend this place to anyone looking for a place to have a wedding reception! or any kind of party.

Township Course is closing. With all the money the township recieved, where is the replacement course going to be located?

Nice course. Prices are a little steep in my opinion. They really mark up the price when they know youre desperate to play.

If youre into 5 1/2 rounds on Sunday with no Rangers then this is the track for you! Perfectly Manicured seagulls line the fairways from the neighboring landfill. Bring your cut off jean shorts and 30 bomb of red dog!

GOOD SHORT COURSE. THE MEAL DEAL ON WEDNESDAYS MAKES FOR A GREAT DAY OF GOLF. BRING YOUR BUG SPRAY IN THE EVENT MOSQUITOS MAKE THERE PRESENTS KNOWN.
